      you wanna tell me, they wouldn't even clear the landing site from dangerous poles and debris for a flight, as prestigeous as this one?
      they tested autoland on a big road with lights leaving just a couple of meters clearance?
      this seems like very good marketing, but not like actual truth.

    • @suisinghoraceho2403

      They are a bit reckless. But it appears there are enough bureaucratic gaps in China that allows people doing this. I’ve seen quite a few TH-camr using abandoned or just not frequently used highway as runways.
      On the other hand, components cost are so low that if the plane crashes into one of the wind turbines, they won’t care.

    • @ziongite
      @ziongite ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wrong, propeller powered planes are most efficient at an altitude of about 6-7km. Lower than this and it reduced fuel efficiency as the atmosphere is more dense and the plane has to push itself through it harder.

    The landing site was a mine field and the vehicle seemed to steer to one of a few soft spots , luck has it or does vehicle have vision ? Can flight control software be set up to use more use of rudder to make direction changes then aileron influenced bank turns ? I am developing a first ever light weight swept wing modular endurance air vehicle. The main wing and body will be set, but nose and tail section can be swapped out to infinity styles. The wing control surfaces we be direct drive torsion controlled , no horns and rods. I see opportunity for an affordable all in a box flight system. It has been elusive .

    1) 2:29 in the Video, landing waypoint 1 & 2, what is the angle ( -8 to -9)??
    2) 4:05 in the video, if you lose the video signal, does UAV returns to Lunch??
    3) 1:31 in the video, Data transfer Unit. What is the difference with the GPS in the MFD Crosshair
    autopilot or the Pixhawk autopilot?
    4)
    A- Which one is better the Pixhawk flight controller or the Myflydream MFD Crosshair autopilot ???
    B - Is it true that the UAV returns to lunch if the telemetry ( video signal ) is lost for both the Pixhawk and the Myflydream MFD Crosshair autopilot ??. I am trying to build an UAV that can travel 40 miles in between two island with waypoints, but I am afraid that the UAV will not accomplish mission if lose the video signal ????

    One doubt : why don't you use the laser range finder to directly land instead of calibrating baro ?
    Does that lidar u it has any other function other than calibrating baro ?

    How do you guys deal with local flight control? I mean, if there is manned planes in area they coordinate with land flight control, so they don't hit other planes.
