There’s truth in his ideology in as far as we should be able to protect ourselves from the state. The mistake he’s making is that he is one man with a gun and the state has many people with many guns and more highly advanced weapons and the likelihood of him arming enough people to defeat the state are highly unlikely. I think there are better methods of achieving his goals than 3D printing guns eg something like organising lots of workers in the weapons industry who have the ability to effect real change eg the East Kilbride Rolls Royce factory workers.

Interviewer had his own bias, didn’t approach this with an open mind. There was nothing extremist about anything J stark said, he believed in his rights and was willing to defend them and found a real way to do that with all the hoops and hurdles set in place to prevent that. Regardless of your stance on weapons, the level of ingenuity and commitment to such a cause was admirable and extremely impressive.

There’s truth in his ideology in as far as we should be able to protect ourselves from the state. The mistake he’s making is that he is one man with a gun and the state has many people with many guns and more highly advanced weapons and the likelihood of him arming enough people to defeat the state are highly unlikely. I think there are better methods of achieving his goals than 3D printing guns eg something like organising lots of workers in the weapons industry who have the ability to effect real change eg the East Kilbride Rolls Royce factory workers.

Interviewer had his own bias, didn’t approach this with an open mind. There was nothing extremist about anything J stark said, he believed in his rights and was willing to defend them and found a real way to do that with all the hoops and hurdles set in place to prevent that. Regardless of your stance on weapons, the level of ingenuity and commitment to such a cause was admirable and extremely impressive.
