    Can you tell me the difference between a Florida Ghost and a Florida Beauty? Would the same hold true for the beauty? Also does the Florida Ghost have to be the variegated variety to be able to get the white or mint green leave with the right lighting? Thanks for your informative video.

    So is a Florida and Florida ghost different? I have an all green Florida, could it possibly turn into a "ghost"?

    I'm in the southern hemisphere and my florida ghost cutting (green leaf btw) has thrown out 3 white leaves. It only gets sun in the mornings. It's in leca and fed baby bio. I love it!

    Hello, i’m a new follower of you since a couple of monthsnalso on Instagram. Great info you share! I have à question about the Ghost. One of the real white georgious leaves is still dying. The plant Bas two green leaves and three full white. One leave had an edge of green. Do i have to worry about the One white leave? Thanks, Johan from Belgium Antwerp

    Hey.
    I have bought a florida ghost cutting. It is 100% a cutting from a ghost. The cutting was rather green when i got it and the two new leafes it made are still rather a bright green. I have it pretty close to a growlight tho. I have heard that ghosts dont really revert and that the amount of light is crucial for the color. Now im confused why it doesnt produce the bright leaves. Or does it just take a while for it to adapt?

    Great content!
    Quick question! So I’ve been looking around online nurseries to buy one and I got confused cause from what I saw they there seems to be a Florida Ghost AND Florida Ghost GREEN (there is a certain difference on the price tag as well) are they actually two different plants? Is it just some kind of mislabeling? How can I tell between the two?
    Hope you see this
    Thank you in advance
    Keep up your great job
    xoxo

      Not as far as I am aware, as long as it it florida ghost for both the green one just means it has not been placed in high light. If you do you should get white leaves. Just check it is florida ghost. As there is a green on called florida I think 🤔

    How many hours of sunlight in the west-facing window does your plant get? Is there a way to definitively differentiate a florida ghost from pedatum and florida green? Thanks

  • @Wolfie_Rankin

    I bought a tiny baby one. The local nursery said they weren't sure if it was going to grow up white or not, but offered them to buyers if they wanted to take the risk. I think it'll be fun to see if I do get the white or not, but it's going to take quite a while.

    • @Houseplantygoodness
      @Houseplantygoodness  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Mine was tiny when I got it too and all green. Within a month of being in bright bright location it started pushing out white leaves so it can happen. The main piece of advice loads of light, more than most philodendrons

    • @Houseplantygoodness
      @Houseplantygoodness  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Florida Ghost has the new leaves almost coming in white and the beauty I think has variegated yellow and green leaves

    I moved mine to west side and it was outside, very bright light. No white whatsoever. She is a white ghost with fuzzy red petioles.
