I agree about the light and humidity. I have P. florida ghost and it is almost 1 meter tall. When I got it it was much smaller and the two white leaves fell off. It has two stems that is growing from and both had totally green leaves. I did propagate one stem and now it is growing totally white leaves (before that it did not, even tho I have it in south-facing window). The other stem it still has green leaves even tho it has a loooot of light (in the summer it has direct light and it does not bother this plant), but I dont want to cut this part of the plant, because it has 40cm big leaves and it is gorgeous the way it is. So I would say the main reason for the white leaves are: light, fertilizer and cut the top, if it does not producing white leaves (you have nothing to lose). I think the age of the plant has nothing to do with it, I know some people who have a baby PFG and they have white and minty leaves.
Yeah, from my own experience I feel like it has lots to do with duration of light. I think if you start your cutting/plant off right you'll definitely get the ghostly plant everyone is after. I'm sure your PFG is looking BEAUTIFUL!
In Germany in the plant shops they say, oooh your florida ghost is green, perhaps because the plant ist too young. Adult Plants get white Leafs. No way!!!! I have sticks and the "adult" Plant get never white-green leafes. But i buy it with one really light green leaf. But the Plant was on a to dark place. Now on the really bright side, the sticks from the mother plant become really bright leafes. If you change the place for the plant, you must wait perhaps 1-2 Leafes. Than you see the light-green-white leaf. Thank you for your helpful video. With this video and other, the plants have a chance. Also Philodendron burle Marx variegata (have one little spot that have variegation, my fault! To dark place!), my monstera variegata becomes mostly half moon or really white leafes after change the place. Thanks a lot!

I was considering buying growing lights, but I'm far away of knowing the right ones to choose. What do you suggest? Or what are you using for your Florida Ghost?

From my own experience my whiter leaves was due to the intense light.
