So a shift from Theistic worship to a more Agnostic and Atheistic philosophies within the Hindu fold, which were long suppressed or not known in popular. Many Castes, be it upper or Lower, have worshipped some form of Gods present in many Hindu Texts. The Chandala Community and Lingayats worship Shiva, the Matua Sect worship Vishnu. Sanskrit is not necessary, the idea is important not the language.

Agree, i have yet to see any PM till date who treats all citizens of India equally irrespective of cast and religion. They just could not let their hatred for modi go away for one incident in 2002, which he had nothing to do with. His bone of contention with him was when a nation was being created for a particular religion after breaking India, why Gandhi insisted on moderation and not letting the same treatment be meted out to the minority here as it was being done in the other half. Later, of course, Gandhi's stand was vindicated as our secularism was respected world over. Today, why people still grudge Gandhi's stand is because of of the appeasement politics for the last 70 years. Also in case of Kashmir and Pakistan most Muslims are not very vocal about condemnation and have a tacit support for the wrong side all due to religion of course. Appeasement has pushed people towards BJP and RSS. Take Bengal for instance, it is being pushed towards BJP, which had no footing in the state.

Many Castes, be it upper or Lower, have worshipped some form of Gods present in many Hindu Texts. The Chandala Community and Lingayats worship Shiva, the Matua Sect worship Vishnu. Sanskrit is not necessary, the idea is important not the language.

Agree, i have yet to see any PM till date who treats all citizens of India equally irrespective of cast and religion. They just could not let their hatred for modi go away for one incident in 2002, which he had nothing to do with. Bigger riots happened in 60's gujarat during congress rule, more people died, no one was convicted. Similar so many riots happened in past throughout the country, including sikh genocide, how many were convicted ? Atleast for gujarat 2002, people on both side of religion are serving their time behind bars. Similarly, lynchings were always happening, PM modi has clearly condemned it many times and victims are getting justice.

His bone of contention with him was when a nation was being created for a particular religion after breaking India, why Gandhi insisted on moderation and not letting the same treatment be meted out to the minority here as it was being done in the other half. Later, of course, Gandhi's stand was vindicated as our secularism was respected world over. Today, why people still grudge Gandhi's stand is because of of the appeasement politics for the last 70 years. Also in case of Kashmir and Pakistan most Muslims are not very vocal about condemnation and have a tacit support for the wrong side all due to religion of course. Appeasement has pushed people towards BJP and RSS. Take Bengal for instance, it is being pushed towards BJP, which had no footing in the state.
