Music Man Retro76 and 79 Stingray Quick Comparison

I was lucky enough to find a Music Man Retro76 bass for sale at a decent price and had to grab it since I wanted one so bad but they sold out very quick. I decided to do a quick comparison video with my 79 Stingray to see how they sounded together.
They really did a fantastic job with these Retro76 basses so I am sure the new Retro 70's basses have to be good as well. There are a few minor differences (The Retro76 has a Nitro finish and the Retro 70's are Poly) but they all should be pretty close and hearing it compared to my 79 makes me love them even more.
I plan on doing a longer video so once I get the time, I will record some more clips but for now, please enjoy this short one.

Great & lucky deal John, apart from the finish they are crafted quite with the same identical specs of the 70's. They also seemed to have cloned my 1980 White Stingray because in the 70's the pickguard was mainly black on white basses. By the way your already impressive Bass Collection gets richer with another masterpiece😎

This sound amazing. Also you look just like Scott Ian the rhythm guitar player from Anthrax. If you don’t know who he is look him up. He is an amazing guitarist.
