gonna give this a try. I did the efan swap on my 02 that has a blue green pcm swapped in it and the only solution I found on my own was removing the high speed fan fuse which did stop it and the low speed fans works well enough to keep it at temp. thought one of the relays might of failed but this is before dealing with the relays themselves

It has been raining all day and I came home to the fan running even with the truck off, I turned it off and back on and right as I turned it back on the fan shut off and I turned it off again really quick. That fixed the issue. 2015 Silverado

The knock sensor wells under the intake have water in them. The water travels through the wiring insulation and corrodes the PCM. The corrosion will come back if you don't seal the knock sensor covers and run new wiring.

i had same problem years ago i changed every sensor and so much other things trying to figure out what was causing the fans to stay on, finally had a guy tell me it can get junk in the computer and my last thing to try before giving up was checking the same area and the botttom had alot of nasty junk in there and found out the bottom pins were for the ground, once i cleaned up the truck started running right again.
Now my problem is fans and a/c wont come on... I used a powerprobe to make fans come on so i know they work, i changed all the relays, temp sensor, and still doesnt work....im starting to wander if there isnt more junk in the computer again somewhere...any ideas of what it could be?

dielectric grease is what you're wanting to keep them from corroding again.

That sucks! Yes it was fixed after I did this. Maybe they didn't clean the corrosion out of the connectors and just the PCM. Very hard to get the plugs clean.

Would that be the cause of my radiator cooling fans not coming on at all unless I turn my A/C on, once the A/C is on my fans run on hi speed, my 05 chevy Tahoe temp gauge went all the way to the 3/4 mark without the fans coming on
