Brackets work good. But instead of cutting the door you can just hammer the edges which saves time. It makes a bigger hole without having it look all scratched up.

I bought the Mobile Max Car Audio speaker adaptor kit shown and installed some larger mid-range speakers in the rear doors of my Acura TL. The kit certainly made it easy with the included fasteners. I did need to cut a larger hole in the door, but I was able to mount the adaptor first, and use that as a stencil to draw a guide line to make a nice clean cut with my multi-tool.

CL and TL share the same radio and front speakers. The rear speakers are 6x9 in the CL. We do not have plans to make a video series on the CL.

We literally show you how to do it without our adapters. We show you how to do it with the factory adapter or with a universal one. Did you even watch the video before you commented?

Video does a great job of showing you how to do it both ways, AND that for conventional 6.5” speakers you will need another method for mounting the speaker. Having owned a 2nd Gen TL, I can say their adaptor makes it look easy.
