David Goliath - He showed us the top one; the bottom one is going to be perfectly analogous. Your question is akin to asking him to show how to change the passenger side brake pads... so I’d say “No, it’s not important that he show both the top and bottom slide pins.”
David Goliath Incorrect. I just changed my brakes. They really are the same (I can speak for 2006 Ford Escapes and 2014 Jeep Patriots, at the very least).
David Goliath - That it isn’t important to show the top and bottom slide pins in the case that they’re identical... again, it’s analogous to asking him to show the passenger side brakes...sure, perhaps your slide pins are different (or you removed two different pins), but in most, if not all, cases, the slide pins are identical. From a helpful standpoint, showing more than is necessary just obfuscates the issue at hand which only detracts from the helpfulness of a video.
Dont need to take caliper off, just loosen top bolt and remove bottom bolt

So if I do one side. Should I put the wheel on, brake cap on then test brakes before starting the passenger front?
Or can I do both sides then put the brake cap back on?
do you know what size the rear rotors are on a limited patriot 2007 2.4 i need to replace them and find that there are 2 different sizes
Why did you pull out the brake cylinder? NOT needed. Also you old pads looked good yet.

BRiemann actually the top and bottom pins are not the same. One is longer and has a rubber gasket... so shut up douche
