What a pain in the ass.. once again gm designers like to tick off people doing extra
Hi friend, can you give me the link for this part? Thanks for the video.
If you're looking at the compressor from the front, there is a bolt on the right side, that's where you add PAG oil I believe.
Have 96 gotta replace, some of these comments pretty dang gold, thx for this, think I can do this without raging lol
Whats the torque specs on the transfer case to the transmission?
You saved me from dealing with the dealer. Thanks dude!
Thank you soooooo much
Here’s a tip worth mentioning, if it doesn’t seem like the line tool is working, just shove it in good and lightly wiggle and pull
Plastic ones work way better
Also some of these accumulators come with a plastic ring that will pop out once pushed in all the way, then you can cut it off if you really want
Great video it's going to help me but I'm not looking forward to doing it😅
Good job. Happy Wife, they say it brings a happy lufe, hmmmm, smh.. Now you have to get her A more up to date vehicle, so she can hv 2 cars.
Just used video to replace lights on 2012 Equinox. Thank you!
This is my first car and someone’s charging me $140 to change them. I’m not sure if I’m capable of doing it by myself or I should pay the $140 to someone who knows how to do it properly
is the bearing on that output shaft removeable from the seal end?
Thank you. Some people just don't realize how much help they can get from people like you. Thank YOU SIR
Thanks for the video, and especially the part numbers!
Good video
Part # for seals would be nice
Thanks man
Fkinpiss poor
I know this is very old, but on the accumulator do you put anything on the seal on the hose as you install it or just leave it dry?
leave it dry
This information is vague at best, a lot of videos posted talk threw, and skip when its difficult, you see the problem their having then bam its been done but you didn't see how you just hear some vague information on how it was done "You could maybe and or you can probably" but it is named correctly this is not a how-to this is a vague dissection of the steering column and why would you go threw all that just for the ignition??? you could have gotten a key made without taking apart 2 columns and buying one from a salvage yard with a key for less money with no dissection headache, something very very strange about that.
Were is the oil dip is located at
damn I was hoping it might've gone into the column itself lol. When I turn the key it pushes the ignition pin forward but when i turn it back it won't pull it back, so whatever makes the connection there to turn on the car ain't happening. So i've been turning it on by moving the pin myself.
This is the dumbest shit ever fuck whoever made this car
Hey bro you can use ashes and super glue to fix the grille them two become really hard plastic try it out
Them two together will fix a lot of shit
WHAT ARE ALL THE TOOLS YOU USED N!?!
Thank you so much for your detailed explanation. I just replaced both headlights on my daughters equinox that were really faded. You gave me the confidence to do it myself. Thank you. Merry Christmas!!
Great video. You answered all the my questions. Thank you.
TYSM it helped me a lot I truly appreciate it
You don't need to do all this. You change the bulb under the wheel well.
Thanks for posting. I was trying to find out if there is any adjustment of the headlight beam. When I am backing out of my driveway at night it seems like most of the light is hitting the garage door parallel to the ground. I occasionally get flashed by other drivers. Mine is a 2013.
Where is the steering wheel upper bearing? I need to replace that in a 03 Mustang.
Is this possible without jacking the car up?
If you go through the Inner fender well you can Change it in 5 Minutes Without taking the Bumper Off.
Only if you’re replacing BULB. This video is about replacing the whole assembly.
Now does this work for a 2000 model
I don’t understand why you’re replacing it? How did you realize it was bad?
These containers collect moisture. Any time you expose the system to ambient air, these units end up removing the moisture from the ambient air at which point they can no longer remove moisture from your AC system. They are kind of "full" if you will, and you cannot fix that, you just need to replace it. Hope that helps
Thank you !!!!
My accumulator doesn’t just snap on any tips?
i am getting seasick watching this video
This design is absolutely ludicrous to change out a headlight! Absolutely makes no sense!🤬🤯🤯🤯🤯
Ridiculous the amount of shit you have to go through these days just to change a bulb or the whole fixture. Manufacturers try to make it so you have to take your car into a shop (sure they prefer one of they’re own dealerships) to pay a fortune to have it done
You forgot to mention two butts on top of the headlights too lol When I remove my bumper, I remove the whole bumper never just the cover. It's easy to let the bumper sit up right when the bumpers attached so it's not all wobbly if it's just the bumper cover. You're lucky to get a matching color like I did with mine that's great!
Thanks, bro. Bundy's and Eric left out the rear removal. I, too have a super rusty bolt to remove as well. Time to get this done. Cheers!
Equinox 2005
This ridiculous changing a simple head light. I just went through this. I thank God for automotive guy at O’Riley, he was kind patient and knew exactly what to do🙏🏽
Something so simple made hard,I just don’t get it!
I did everything but it feels like its a little bit tight 🤔 I don’t think it should be tight I mean the rotor should spin easily after you put everything back together
Chris fix??
Story goes his nose is still running today
Do I need to take the whole headlight out to replace the low beam bulb? I keep seeing videos where they just use an access panel and mine doesn't have it.
One video it's a woman going through the inner fender around the front tires. the screws and get to lights by going through the back. That would work ok if you have tiny hands
And if you were only changing the BULB instead of the HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY!
