Once PSVR2 was set up I booted MS Flight Sim via Game Pass on PC, once I changed the in-game setting to VR it automatically switched to my PSVR2. Not every aircraft is fully VR supported but those that were, I could fully operate them using Sense controllers!! Sitting inside a 1945 Spitfire I bought from the store and experiencing that in VR was an unbelievable experience
Launched it via the Game Pass app, switched the game to VR in the option menu and PSVR2 automatically engages, not all aircraft are optimised for VR but you still get that virtual reality experience. I’m guessing using the Steam version of the game might offer more features but if you just want to fly in VR the Game Pass version on PC works
im not up to speed with tech specs but i thought that psvr2 was much the same as quest 2? I was going to sell my PSVR2 based on that. Is it worth keeping the psvr2 if you have a quest 2 for PC games now that the adapter is available?
Wait the 7900 XTX requires the adapter? i thought the card was VirtualLink compatible. if it requires the adapter then is pointless to get a PSVR over something like the Quest 3
@@Frogboyx1gaming that’s nice because I have the reference card and I have been using the USB-C and a converter for my WMR Headset. Which is fine but Microsoft has gave it a EOL notice so I’m looking for alternatives and the PSVR2 looks kinda nice
I'm not sure what settings you are running but no chance you can max out on ACC. I have tried with my 7900XTX and it looks absolutely awful in VR. You cannot go full settings as then the performance is unplayable. Please share the settings, maybe I'm doing something wrong.
@@Frogboyx1gaming that’s a riddle to me. I’ve tried everything and acc is absolutely awful in VR on 7900xtx. Apparently the psvr2 doesn’t support 90hz mode which is why you will need to dial settings down. Not sure what you did to get that performance but on my end it’s bad compared to GT7

You still get the full dynamic range from 100% black to the brightest colors the panels are able to. There is nothing missing. HDR is just marketing and means nothing more than the games color's are dialed a bit to look right on that dynamic range.
So this is "the best headset I've ever had", but you've only used PSVR1, PSVR2 and Quest 2?!! Go try a Quest3 or Pimax Crystal light and come back with your thoughts...

Awesome video frog. I absolutely can not wait to get my hands on one of these adapters

7900 xtx is a god tier vr gpu.
Yes it is.
@@Frogboyx1gamingit runs good with cable right?
feels like they've only done it to get rid of their unsold inventory, but hopefully it does well enough to make them think about a PSVR3

Why are you using the adaptor. Isn't the PSVR2 supposed to work plugged into the USB-C port on the 7900xt/xtx?
Only the founder's edition cards have it.
