my 2017 540i evaporator went out, debris messed up my a/c condensor and 2 cracked windshields in 5 months of ownership. Bought her with 40K miles now she has about 55k miles. luckily i have warranty..
Brought my 2016 535xi m sport with 30kmiles on it in 2017. Took it to 140k miles this past month and still got 24k for it. Not one engine light not one time. Insane. Straight high speed highway miles. Stage 1 tune. Took it to the dealer for service. Literally had no problems. Only things changed. Were ball joints and arms. I sold it literally looking like it came from the showroom. I hope this b58 I buy soon brings me the same success story except I won’t keep as long.

I got the 2017 same one u got xdrive m sport 20 inches and it has 125k rn i drive about 200 miles a day with it, i got the extended warranty and its 100% worth it !! Especially the if u have the 20inch rims the tire warranty is a 100% lol every pothole ends up with the a bubble on the tire …… the seat belt thing i have been dealing with the same way u do I usually have my laptop and cple books and its annoying😂 yea just plug it in and shut it up also id watch out for the cooling system and ur ac system other then that, best engine best car best experience ive had, and ive drove Mercedes, jaguar, volvos, audi but didnt own it, wld never do that to myself … This one tops them all.. def gonna start checking all ur vids !!

Awesome car😍, I own 540i g30 2019 Mperformance, and I drove this summer almost 30.000km around Europe. Absolutely no problem at all. The coolant was little bit low, but that is Amazing after a 30.000 km drive in Sport Mode 80% of the time.
Great car May I know how often do you change your engine oil because BMW dealer says the car is designed for 15-20k km intervals which is crazy even if the car is only driven in highway
@@Mm.2112 my last bmw 525df10 change it for about 25.000 km , no problems at all. On this one I made first oil change on 30,700km and runs verry nice with no problems eather. In Europe the BMW don’t recomand oil change in like 25.000km despite the fact that the oil last 30.000 km. Now in my opinion, I think healthiest way to keep the motor in best shape it’s to change it between 8k-10k.
@@Mm.2112 big point of contention, they don’t want you to change it as often for admissions reasons, but I would get it changed sooner. It has shown to make the engines last longer for me. I go 7500 miles.
I have a 2017 530i which I'm very happy with. I just had to replace the front brakes at 75k miles. Been a great car but will be upgrading to a 23 540i m-sport soon. Just hope it holds up as well as the 530i has. Cheer's!!
I’ve been looking for one of these for awhile. The key is to get the 18 inch wheels for the best ride quality. I drove one with bigger wheels and run-flats, and then one on 18 inch wheels with regular tires. The one on 18 inch wheels had a significantly better ride. I was about to not consider one after I drove the one with larger wheels because it would suck over bumps but then floaty in the corners. Otherwise, I really liked the car. The B58 is perfect in this application, and it’s one of the most affordable ways to get a B58.
I agree. My 2013 F10 535i XDrive has been solid and the brakes just last so long on these cars. The shocks and struts aren't leaking but they need changed on mine for sure. I am showing the (phantom) codes and you can definitely feel it on the road. I have 127,000 miles so duh. Time to replace! :). Other than that it's solid as a rock!

This car is pretty awesome. Especially leather quality. I just wish the seats were a bit wider. If you are overweight you'll have some problems and might probaby go for mercedes. If you are normal weight the seats will be great.

@@LowBoostFilms what about the maintenance? Someoen said to me once it out as warranty only take it to a certified Bmw auto repair shop. Don’t take it to the dealership because the dealership will rob you.
@@lilsiranthony outside of oil changes there’s not a whole lot of maintenance I have to get done brakes are not expensive. Yes, a certified BMW shop would be cheaper than the dealership.
@@Meilingboppin it has now 152tkm so far Thr coolant tank leaked the Main coolant tank, Differential seal little bit leaked, Hardy disk rubber cracked little bit, the rest was all maintenance, GEARBOX oil Spark plugs and im on stg2 tune stage 3 xhp since 115tkm .. cant say bad ooh and the pcv membrane cracked

@@suhoops1620 map 2 on 93 my guess is around 370whp up from 330whp est stock. A catless downpipe will get that great sound, and allow you to run the other maps, mix some e30 ethanol on and you’ll be making 430whp without trying

Go for it just make sure to get the extended warranty or have $3k reserve to cover maintenance/repairs. These cars are not cheap to maintain.
