Unfair review? Perhaps the fault lies with Fisker shipping a product full of software bugs. Edmunds, CarWow, Consumer Reports had similar reviews. Popular with consumers? There are hundreds of used Fiskers for sale with less than 1000 miles. Unique features? As someone who owns two EVs, California mode, turning screen, taco trays and four miles a day of range from the solar panel in perfect conditions are more gimmicks than valuable features. What's valuable you ask? How about a fast-charging curve, access to NACS, eligible tax incentive, reasonable cargo space (it's half of a model Y and far less than a Mach E), nationwide service, one-peddle regenerative driving. Range? The 10% greater Ocean range comes from 40% more battery which adds 800 lbs. over a Y. The best EVs are about battery efficiency. If Fisker goes belly up it will be Fisker's fault, not the messenger(s).
Good take, but I typically prefer something different than everything else on the road. The Model Y is a much better total vehicle, w/ better software, & cheaper But everyone has 1. It is the Corolla of the Mid size SUV world. The Ocean is better looking, with solid range, & unique. That's why I was originally interested.
@@winningstrategiesforturo OK but if you're a public company, rely upon public investors, and your product sucks then who cares?
