    What do you mean by squeeze moola whatever? Can you please explain what it is and how to do it?

    • @RefeelYoga

      Yes! Sorry I see I didn't describe it well in this video. I have introduced it many of my other Kundalini videos as it is a fundamental part of the practice.
      Mula bandha is a muscular contraction occuring near the base of the spine. Specifically contracting the muscle that lifts the area of the perennium for men or closes the opening of the vagina for women.
      It's a powerful technique for containing enegy and awakening Kundalini used in most pranayama and many other advanced yogic practices.
      When practicing Sat Kriya, Mula Bandha is applied right at the end to sublimate all the built up sexual energy. After the practice, take the final inhalation, fill the lungs as much as possible and start by squeezing mula bhanda - contracting the perennium. Feel this energy building and imagine it rising up the spine. To assist the rising you can start to contract all the muscles - the perennium, the anus, the genitals, the abdomen, the lower back, chest, upper back, neck, etc.- from the bottom, all the way up untill the energy explodes out of the crown of the head.
      It is a very powerful practice so be present and patient with yourself. Don't rush and see whatever comes along the way

    What type of fruit and foods is beneficial for making ojas?

    • @RefeelYoga
      @RefeelYoga  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Technically nothing can "make" ojas. What you are born with is what you get and when it runs out so does your life force.
      However you can work to conserve it by not wasting it.
      Anything that is very hard to digest or draining on your body will use up more of your ojas - such as drinking, smoking, drugs, heavy, old or deep fried foods, or anything else that is in any way toxic or very difficult for the body to process.
      Satvic foods are the best. Fresh, clean and moderate eating is the best way to conserve your ojas well into old age

    • @RefeelYoga
      @RefeelYoga  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use a block or pillow to sit higher and take the pressure off of your knees. And if this is still not accessible you can sit cross legged. It's not a problem you will still find the benefits 😉

    Should I breath with my nose or mouth?chatgpt said I should breath through my nose but how am I supposed to say" sat nam" while breathing through my nose?

    • @RefeelYoga
      @RefeelYoga  หลายเดือนก่อน

      🤣 I don't think ChatGPT had ever had the chance to experience this practice yet 😜
      And from what I have seen around, the breathing for Sat Kriya is poorly documented - or just started as "focus on the practice and let the breath he as it is"
      Sounds like a pretty lazy description to me 🤦
      So yes, the inhalation is through the nose and the exhalation is done through the mouth, most intensely during the "Sat", and also during the "Nam".
      What makes this awkward is that the inhalation is passive. It happen very quickly after the "Sat". As the diaphragm relaxes/drops down after the powerful Sat, it passively pulls in a small amount of air through the nostrils. You have to leave your nostrils open and relaxed so that this will happen automatically. Then you don't have to think about the breath.
      This passive inhale is not a normal way to breathe, that's why it's awkward at first. However if you are familiar with Kapalabhati, it is very similar.
      I hope this helps!

    I have a small question please when breathing it’s like little difficult when to take breath while chaining these two sounds, should I take breath while saying Nam? And is it possible to do it at a slower pace or better to follow yours
    Hence friend, thank you so much for your guidance the practice is awesome and your explanation very clear and concise, thanks for sharing your knowledge! Love you man!! 😄

    • @RefeelYoga
      @RefeelYoga  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I would recommend you to keep at the same pace of chanting. It is supposed to challenge you a bit. This is what makes it "Kriya", it's purifying subtle layers of your mind and energy and this is what makes such little things seem so difficult. Keep at it! Focus more on the chanting and less on the breath. Feel the explosion of the navel. As your system purifies it will become more natural ;)
      Thank you for your kind words brother! I'm happy you have you here 🙏

    Hello. Thanks for your instruction. I hope you will answer a question. I am thinking to exhale on sat and inhale on nam. Is this correct? Or is one to hold the breath for several reps? What shall the breathing pattern be? Thank you again.

      I find that the breath slowly releases with the mantra and I am inhaling quick breaths whenever I need. (Around every 5 or 6 chants)
      But the focus here should be on the abdomen. Focus on the explosion in Manipura Chakra with "Sat", relax with "Nam", and let the breath take care of itself

    This practice seems quite similar to Uddiyana Bandha in both movement and purpose, is there any reason to choose one over the other? Can they both be practiced together or should they be done separately? Thanks, very grateful for your quality videos.

    • @RefeelYoga
      @RefeelYoga  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! These are both "sublimation" techniques. Meaning that the intention is to transmute or sublimate (refine) the lower energies to the higher centers. Uddiyana is a little more gross/physical and also has a greater effect of Manipura Chakra. But the end result is very similar.
      You can practice both. I would sequence Uddiyana first and Sat Kriya after, just before meditation and Savasana 🙏💞

    Namasksr ! So right now I'm doing 3 aasanas. This one of SatNam, converting semen into ojas and charging of swadishtana chakra in Yoni aasan by taking air through teeth.
    So what should be the correct order of doing these 3 aasanas? Which should be the first and last?

    Thanks. One note: you say using the sexual energy for 'higher' purposes. Sex in itself is a high purpose, comparing to spiritual goals and putting it down in comparison creates shame. All things have their place.

    • @RefeelYoga
      @RefeelYoga  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Definitely! I apologize, I did not mean to imply that sex is a low purpose in any way - sex is one of the most beautiful actions we can engaging in! - Only that when we can get "stuck" in this energy and controlled by impulsive lust or shame because of it, then we can transform that energy.
      For example, throwing away one's sexual energy purely for their own gratification or numbing of the senses vs. engaging in sexual energy to create an experience of love and connection with one's Self and the person(s) sharing intimacy.

    • @RefeelYoga
      @RefeelYoga  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@claraandriessen8423 Yes! There are all sorts of practices for sending energy down and cultivating this energy. Specifically practices that focus on Muladhara and Svadhistana Chakras. In Kundalini we generally aim to move energy upwards, however the Taoist tradition has great practices for sending energy both up and down. One of my favorite meditations, "Microcosmic Orbit", is one such practice of moving sexual energy up from, and back down to, the pelvis.
