His unmistakable technique, immeasurable talent, extraordinary intelligence and out of this world class made Zidane a unique player in football history. The greatest maestro ever, absolute genius!
Im 46 years old watched football all my life played at a level in which earnings were made so I would like to think I have a decent understanding of the game. I always think you can tell a players ability just by the first touch and I've never seen a better first touch than Zidane. He is the most complete player ever didnt have a weaker foot the way he brought the ball down was sublime how ever awkwardly it came at him and it was always close enough to take a second touch . He shifted the ball from one foot to the other so well he could skin 3 players within a square metre. Many players have better stats but none had his ability and brain he was just fluid going past players like a river around a rock. Simply sublime and my all time greatest. Back to my first point about first touch the one on 5:20 explains what im mean. Takes the opponent out of the game and waits for the ball to bounce and catch up. Zidane was simply beautiful to watch.
Zidane is the perfect example of why you shouldn't rely on stats to judge the quality of players. If you only look at his career stats, you would think he was an average player.
Depends on which stats you are looking at. For Juventus, Real Madrid and France National team he scored a goal or assist every other game (G+A). Unfortunately the stats that we have from his time isn't that complete like nowadays but I'm sure he would have great numbers in chances created, key passes, low number of times dispossessed per game, good passing accuracy, dribbles per game and even defensive contribution.
Basically, in his prime, Zidane was a 6,2 foot Maradona... Except you don't expect a 6,2 foot player to display even one half of the insane hability he showed on the pitch. Guy was an absolute football wizard... Alltime best european player if you ask me ( I'm 60 : I've seen Cruyff and Platini... ). Up there with the best, no question, and stylistically wise, my alltime favorite. The one whose habilities I wish I had had when I was playing...
Yeah shut up! He is an amazing player, but he is not doing anything out of the ordinary. Don't get me wrong, his skills are top notch, but it is something someone cannot learn.
If all players in the history were available for me to draft to build a team, the first pick would be Zidane. He simply makes everyone around him better with his creativity. This video shows his technique, but his passes were simply genius. No one ever come close to his understanding of space and speed on the court...
Really good video, the only thing that don't like me was the music 😅 I like the first one just. You don't can make the video with a match audio? they would be very good like that
Too bad none of these moves count as stats. That s why young generations who always refer to stats to place messi way above him will never understand. Zidane winning only one ballon d’or is an outrage
@@memehehe5819 Alright 😊😊 but if you say that look at Messi or Kaka or Angel Di Maria or Alvaro Recoba or Denis Bergkamp or Maradona or Ronaldinhyo Gaucho or Mezut Özil and others 🙈🙉🙊
He was the goat to me . Just look at France vs Brazil in quarter final , he was bossing around the midfield , Brazil has some pretty good players at the time . He made them all looked like a school boy .

@@kirapoodleExactly. He had pretty good stats.
@@kirapoodleheavy on the key passes
He dribbles in place, and does not develop the attack like Iniesta does

Zidane's acceleration and close ball control after step overs was crazy, perfect technique, literally impossible to stop🔥
The most unique player i’ve ever seen, it looks like he was playing friendly exhibition games, it was so easy for him
There will never be a player like Zidane.
Never say never in sport
People would've said the same thing about Maradona and Pele, but now we have Ronaldo and Messi
