I guarantee he spent tons of time practicing with the ball solo by himself in addition to playing/practice with team. You aren’t just born able to do this kind of skill. Sure it may have come easier to him than most, but nobody is just born able to control the ball like this without tons of practice.
For me this guy was just filthy on the pitch. Football to guys like Maradona, cruyff , Henry , Ronaldo senior , Ronaldinho and zidane was art in its purest form. Christiano scores goals but he’s not fun to watch. I loved being entertained, that’s how I ended supporting Wenger’s Arsenal. I watch these guys of today and wonder how much zidane and his ilk would go for in today’s market
agree Zidane was special, but a better plan would be to watch a few Zidane videos (maybe Bergkamp and Berbatov as well) get your football and hit the park/field and practice (even by yourself, learn to juggle a ball on the move, see if you can do it in a circle, square whatever, walls are good too, kick a ball against a wall to practice touch by yourself)

Most attacking players are coached to control the high/fast ball and then make a move. Zidane can effortlessly do both in one motion. As a young player, you have to keep trying moves at practice and in the game/under pressure. Not only will you get better at them, giving you more confidence, but you will enjoy the game a lot more.

A friend of mine told me that Mahrez has a better ball control than Zidane. I agree when you see Mahrez's videos he has a hell of a touch, but he controls perfect balls from his teammates generally being alone due to how big the spaces are when you play with Man City. Zidane controls super hard ball, not as gracious as those from De Bruyne, Fernandinho etc and on top that he is generally battling with others players and he still manages to control those balls like if it was nothing

This is nothing. Every game had 2-3 jaw dropping controls, even the average ones. Even when he was 34 and physically shot. His sense of the ball's trajectory, weight of touch and the coordination of his feet was another level to almost everyone who played the sport.
