I've been a Star Wars mega fan my entire life and I've never been as disinterested in the brand as I am now . Disney acquiring Lucasfilm was a dark day
I like to look at it as a half-full glass this way: If Disney hadn't acquired Lucasfilm, sure, we wouldn't have had to suffer their bad products, but we wouldn't have seen the good ones either. As much as I hate the way they handled some of the idolized characters, we can't deny the existence of good things like Rogue One. They kept the franchise relevant and fresh... somehow.
Yeah. Quality > Quantity but a billion dollar company cant understand that cause its only about earning and not about making people happy. Making people happy is their company "slogan/motto". Its not their objective or goal. They want people to believe they want to do what's right and make them happy. But as everyone knows, that is a farce when talking about a company that has billions. If only they understood that 3 amazing movies can earn just as much as 10 shitty ones. Truly was a sad day. And it only gets worse cause they keep buying IPs and other names. Just hording all entertainment, becoming more and more powerful not needing to appeal to peoples likes cause losing money doesn't mean anything to a company that has an annual revenue of $80+ BILLION in 2023.
I think everyone saw this type of video coming sooner or later. Disney really did kill it. Better to go back to talking about the Star Wars that we all truly love.
For years since the first blaphemy of Disney´s making, I considered EU as the one true canon and DisneyWars as some silly gargage attempt to capitalize on brand not their own. And secondly. Go for it man!
Disney literally went through so many fan favorite male legacy characters, and butchered them. Luke, Han, Lando, Boba, Obi-Wan, Thrawn, Admiral Ackbar, even Din, etc. Meanwhile, they forced Rey, Admiral Holdo, Rose Tico, Reva, Bo Karen, and now the Rey 2.0 Sabine upon us. The agendas are so obvious now, and South Park and Elon Musk have tanked Disney even more now. The best thing that could happen is if Disney just completely self-destructs, and is forced to sell Star Wars to a competent company. Imagine HBO coming up with Star Wars shows. Bet they would be amazing. Disney has completely killed the hype and excitement for Star Wars, and Skeleton Crew and The Acolyte aren’t going to help.
I’m glad to hear this! I’m here for it. Edit: I would love to see your opinions on SW using some tier lists, based only on Lucas and Legends content. Old Republic Sith Lords ranked, Planets ranked, starships ranked. Just an idea man!
Honestly, I feel like this is a good direction to go in. I always prefer the theories, behind the scenes content, comic lore and fan stories. I think that definetly is the way to go, because let's be real, most of us here probably prefer the OT and PT anyway and liked Star Wars more before Disney took over.
@@codybischoff1010they were each a thousand times better than the sequels, I watched half of the force awakened got up went to the theater manager and demanded My Money back, I felt it had failed to live up to what we expect from a Star Wars film. And I will not give money for something I did not appreciate or want, I prefer the real Star Wars Era when it was helmed by G. Lucas who loved the Mythos he sculpted, not a 6 foot rat, who biggest hits were always someone else's hardwork and effort.
You know, I really enjoyed when you, Ryan, and Mauler were discussing old Star Wars memories. Games you played, the film you rewatched the most, the excitement before a release, etc. TH-cam feels far more kindred than any television program or talk show ever could. Jimmy Fallon doesn't feel like my bro. You do, though; just one of the guys, loving Star Wars.
Disney's interference may have tarnished its own brand, but true fans find solace in the expanded universe that remains untouched. The likes of Revan, Meetra Surik, Mara Jade, Darth Caedus, and Cade Skywalker embody the essence of what makes Star Wars truly great. While Disney falters, we stand strong, unaffected by their missteps. The expanded universe keeps the flame of true Star Wars alive, offering refuge for those who seek the authentic and untainted storytelling that Disney fails to deliver. We are not the problem; Disney is.
I'd love some more prequel theories. What if Anakin lost the pod race? What if Padme did die at the beginning of AotC? Jango didn't die on Geonosis? What if Count Dooku never turned to the dark side? We're cheering you on theory!
As Palpatine would say; " *A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.* " Fully onboard with this, dude. I wholeheartedly agree with your view on the current state of the franchise and what Disney has done to it. You and the Channel have come a hell of a long way in the 7 odd years you've been around. Sure you've been through some bad and unwanted (and even unexpected) phases, but we're still here and we're still supporting you. Because you continue to put out the content that we thrive on. Those of us that are hardcore fans like yourself, anyway. I've been here since around the time of The Last Jedi and *always* relished the old school (pre-Disney era) stuff that you've done. That's the level that I feel we all connect on.. Because it's what made STAR WARS truly something special. George's era; the games, the movies, the books, the comics, you name it. So will definitely be looking forward to seeing what you've got coming up, moving forward. I honestly can't wait to do some more LIVE! Streams here with you, on the Prequel & Original Trilogy DVD's, like you did a few years back. A refresher (of sorts) would be more than welcomed and I think there's actually some content and material (originally) that you were gonna get around to uploading or doing on a LIVE! Stream, but just never got 'round to it. Hoping we can begin the BtS DVD bonus stuff again, over the Holiday period. Keep up the amazing work, as always! MTFBWY!
This is YOUR channel and as the creator, you have to do things that interest you, things that stoke your passions. I'm glad you're going back to your roots since that's what brought us together to begin with. Let's go!
Problem is that most of the people that were once brought together have been driven out by the constant onslaught of toxicity from this channel. I know because I’m one of them. Don’t believe me? Just look at the channel views now compared to then. We’ve left to watch other real Star Wars fans who can respect each other despite differences. Those that don’t rely on toxicity and rage bait for clicks. Who can appreciate old Star Wars AND new Star Wars. Those who can criticize without being toxic. Those are real Star Wars fans.
@@grandmasteryado8478 Well put.. Almost like he became the very thing he swore to destroy. Bottom line is the fame and the real Niatoose came out with all the money and fame from the channel
I fail to see any toxicity. Expressing an opinion about something is not toxic. This comment rather confuses me, as it seems like a defamatory statement at an individual simply because he doesn’t express the same opinions as you. It makes this comment rather hypocritical because you are the person who cannot respect differences. If you like the new Star Wars, that’s ok but you have to respect that many people have become disillusioned with the franchise and expressing that sentiment is not toxic.
I would absolutely love to get the same type of content we got in the 2016 era of this channel. All the fan theories and comic book coverages, with that one particular track of music that always played in the background really just set the stage for some of the most enjoyable videos ever. I remember your channel was my go-to for a video to watch while eating haha. I would be super stoked if you brought that sort of magic back!
Amen, brother! Seeing the largest SW channel (or one of the largest) saying that SW is not SW anymore because of Disney is a sign of relief. Keep on bringing back the good stuff. I've been subscribed since less than 100K and really loved the 'What if?' videos. Keep doing what you love, man.
Awesome to hear you're back to focusing on what makes you happy, I missed the fan fictions especially. We'll be with you every step of the way Theory 🙌
I don't blame you at all Theory. Do what makes you happy! You're the best voice for Star Wars fans and you hanging out with Mauler and RK prove that the fans have way more in common than Disney wants to think! Personally, I'd love to see your channel make some lore videos in a similar capacity to Eckhartsladder! Talk about the Star Wars lore iceberg lol
*So glad to hear this!* I love the old original videos that you use to make, like fan fictions, originals and prequels stuff, and the videos where you talk about each characters perspectives on things. I don't really care for the news-related videos or stuff going on, on social media. Glad to hear your getting back to the good old Star Wars content!
Back to basics, this Is the video we've been waiting for. "This Is Where The Fun Begins, Again!!" I'm a Huge 1-6 fan. The stuff you started your channel on. I'm tired of the Disney version of what they think Starwars is,Nah nah, I'm sticking with someone who is an Actual fan like Me. "Lets Make Starwars Great Again!!">Starwars Theory
Hell yeah man, been watching since mid 2016 if memory serves. I've seriously missed the comic readings with your awesome impressions and the fanfictions as well. Thanks for always being 100% with everything you do. Here's to many more years of content 👍. I also cannot wait for Vader episode 2, episode 1 is still the best piece of fan made star wars material I've seen.
Me too!!!! I loved the SW Theory from like 2017. His channels was all about comic Booker and theories in general, now it's morreu like SW Reviews.....and I mean like cmon there's nothing to theorize about in Disney Star Wars. I did enjoy Ahsoka but they really dropped the ball with the Night Troopers....I still don't know if they're your average stormtrooper or a zombie one (also the SW website says Night Troopers are stormtroopers enhanced by Nightsister Magic)
Same here, but i also started to follow him because of all the Snoke theories that he made (before it all went downhill), although i stayed because i enjoyed the comic readings.
I always loved your "what if" series of videos. It'd be cool to see more. I think you bring a really good perspective that feels new and interesting, while staying true to who the characters are (as in, it feels believable).
Idea: you should do some animated shorts taking place in the legends lore like going back to all the old-school stuff that Disney decided to make non-Canon, and just create little five minute minisodes. I think if anyone can do it, it's someone with a passion and true love for star wars as you Been a fan for many years and sending you all the best wishes. Keep up the good work, fellow Jedi 🙏💜
I don't uselly comment on youtube videos but id just like to say how happy this news has made me. Your channel has meant the world to me through some tough times. we love you theory keep up the good work!
YES. I’m so glad you’re doing this. I always loved your channel, Generation Tech, and Eckheart’s Ladder because you all produce(d) unique videos and you all have different (and good) opinions and perspectives. It’s very fatiguing as a viewer to see so many news based SW channels so I’m glad you’re going back to basics. The force IS with you 😂
As a not massive Star Wars fan (and newer fan of the channel) I'm definitely interested in watching you exploring what made the original trilogy such great cinema, and what Lucas, as an auteur, was at least going for in the prequels.
i (and i imagine others) have a lot of respect for you for being able to be as self aware as you are, understanding that tapping back into the roots of the channel is so huge and what a lot of viewers have really been wanting for a while, thank you
I loved your old comic vids and bonus DVD reacts! I'll miss the Nerd Theorys, but I will be on-board for what comes next. Keep up the good work, and hope you can create the content that makes you happy! 😎
If you take the lead, the fanbase will follow you! Take the lore into your own hands. Maintain a good contact with George/OG Star Wars stories (including EU) and rerun the whole lore from beginning to end, and when you get to parts that the fanbase wants to see, make your own content. Whatever you decide to do we support you, you've done so much for the community!
Amen Brother! I too am sick and tired of listening to and bitching about Disney's disgusting Star Wars. But that's all we've gotten for years on multi channels. I'm SUPER glad that you'll be giving us a place on TH-cam to listen to and discuss the REAL Star Wars that we all know and love. Thank you Theory, and God Bless George Lucas!
k4771 Doesn't matter. Nearly EVERY EU Novel was better written than any of the utter CRAP we've gotten from Disney. Furthermore, while EU Books were never part of Canon, Lucas still had a hand in approving stories, as he'd never allow anyone to destroy his characters with ridiculousness. Not so after he sold to Disney. One of the biggest and saddest mistakes of his life.
Disney world be the last place I would give ANYTHING to. If I was offered $100 from Disney, for my used AssWipe, I would sell it to them to havta watch them market and license it to an extremely annoying level. As an actual ComicBook reader, I was never a Marvel fan, because of how they just AssPulled new universes to canonize NonSense stories, when DC was MUCH less guilty of doing that. Now Marvel is so sickeningly OverMarketed and oozing out of every crevices it could jam promotional junk InTo, that normies are such a huge part of the FanBase, I actually do hate them more than I ever expected to. My opinion went from "Meh, I don't care for them" to "HolyShit, GTFO of my face with the ads. Disney, stop. FFS, please stop with this determination to be the world's most notorious whores." If it wasn't for FX, and the occasional anime, I'd definitely cancel my subscription to Hulu. There's also not enough people hating Disney for killing The Muppets franchise, IMO.
Support always, the only issue with this is I rely heavily on you for keeping me up to date because I feel the same fatigue and appreciate you biting the bullet for us 😂
That is a huge step forward. The fan fiction and Comics are the reason i subscribed and found you. And if you can do lots of animations on the fan fictions then that would make my years
Make whatever type of content you want Theory, cause if you're passionate about it and love doing that's all that matters and us your core audience will always watch. Plus I'm sure that even if you got less views doing that content at first it it will eventually find it's audience.
Fanfiction and fan projects in general are the only Star Wars content I'm enjoying at this moment. The best of which have so far been: - Heir to the Empire animated adaption by DarthAngelus - The Fall of the Infinite Empire by Dentedpat
I feel you. Disney and Lucasfilm under KK have gone out of their way to tell it’s original fans, that I doesn’t want or need them. I doubt the new fans Disney is catering for will turn out or be as loyal as the original’s
That all sounds very interesting. And I don’t blame you for not being as inclined to keep up to date with everything Star Wars. Especially with Disney mucking everything up.
Everyone knows this is the true star wars channel. You almost have the same amount of views and they have more subscribers and the movie trailers etc. Just goes to show you’ve kept it more alive than Disney ever has
A deep dive into the original Marvel comic Star Wars run would be awesome! There are so many weird and cool stories that happened in that run, but sadly have been largely forgotten. Personally I tuned out of Disney SW many years ago, so getting back into the Lucas era material is exciting. Keep up the good work!
Wow, Disney is in a bad place and now even SWT is expressing his disdain. At some point, cognitive dissonance becomes too much to ignore. I wonder if the conversations with Mauler & Ryan Kinel played a part in pushing you to make this change. Either way, I think it's cool you're focusing on the things you truly enjoy about Star Wars.
I think theory is a little easy to sway and his conversation with Mauler brought him into the complete disdain side. Everyone was enjoying Ahsoka (1-5), had alright reception for (6-8) including Theory. It doesn’t make sense to all of a sudden say SW is dead when people were going nuts for it just two months ago.
@@kriegaone3658 pull up polls from channels at the time based on what they rated Ahsoka for each episode’s release. Bunch of 4 and 5 stars. Maybe everyone was the wrong term. “Majority” should have been used. 👍🏻
@nickh4676 I have to disagree. Maybe... *maybe* the majority of those who watched gave positive reviews, but the problem is, very few people are tuning in. Personally, Ahsoka finally broke me. I've given Disney SW the benefit of the doubt sooo many times. That was their chance to prove to me Dave has what it takes to turn things around. He/they failed, IMO. You're right that SWT was generally positive about the series while it was airing, though. I think he might fall in a similar camp as me- giving them the benefit of the doubt when they no longer deserve it. I'm done, maybe he is too.
@@ioncewasmikey I’m curious though about what was this nail in the coffin? The show was still a strong show. It’s not perfect, but it wasn’t BOBF…. Was it Sabine getting daggered through the chest and surviving? Or Thrawn simply stalling and never having chased Ezra for 10 years? I don’t think those were tremendous end of SW though in my opinion. I wish you woulda enjoyed it though, I personally have downloaded a fancut and watched it twice already
I was thinking the same. There's quite a lot of fan films and written books, comics, re-edits, mashups, etc. Disney is just one platform that has taken Star Wars over a cliff. No need to focus on it.
Please please make more fan fictions also compilation videos. Those are so incredible. That 4 hour Vader compilation love it so much! Can’t wait for your new Vader episode ♥️🔥🔥
Your channel has always been my go to in terms of Star Wars knowledge, content and theories. As for going back to the basic, I 100% agree. Your storytelling and theory videos made the feeling of Star Wars stay alive with the fans well before the Disney era. Thank you for all the content you bring. Your Vader Episode One project was phenomenal and beautifully executed. Can't even imagine how excited I am for episode 2. Goodluck to all your future projects! May the Force be with you.
Its sad what Disney have done to SW, they’ve really just milked the brand for the cash. As for going back to basics, I’m really up for that, i really like your fan fictions and hearing about the books etc as I’ve never read any of the books/comics! Excited to see some of the old school SW Theory content. MTFBWY🤙🏼
I’d like to see a video on George Lucas’ influences both in film making and Philosophy such as Joseph Campbell etc and how these influences intertwine with Star Wars.
I was really missing your George Lucas' lore videos, learned so much about Star Wars. I don't have that much time, eventually I read some of the stuff you cover, but daily my best alternative is to hear/watch while I do domestic chores. Thanks for getting me closer to true Star Wars.
I’d like to know more about Anakin and Asajj and their battle. More about their history and how he got his scar. This was in the cartoon, but more details and backstory like you do would be awesome. Thanks for your content and honesty!
The Force Awakens and your channel brought me back to my love of Star Wars. Your fanfictions has been very inspirational to the point I tried to make my own. Can't wait to see more fanfiction ideas.
I am definitely excited to hear this. Sure, covering new stuff is good and all that, but loads of other places do that. I love your old videos on fan fictions, the lore, and diving into the Expanded Universe (now legends). I've been subscribed to the channel since the beginning and I'm definitely excited to hear you returning to your roots. Something I would love to see is for you to go back to your old fan fictions that you left on a cliffhanger and continue the story. So many of them ended with you asking if we wanted a part 2, but part 2 never came. I get that they take a lot of time and effort, but it would be really cool to see. I'm also definitely excited about Theory's Tales.
You're very appreciated man, a fan that does stuff for other fans, we're so there for this. Definitely back to basics and doing more theory videos will be welcomed. Thank you very much for what you man
Well said Theory. The way I view it is that SW exists as George 's original vision. 6 films, that's it, that's SW to me. I find I can cope better by seeing Disney as a group of people trying SW, but who don't really understand anything about it. And so I don't consider their efforts worth considering, so to speak. But to me SW is Menace to Jedi. So if I keep that in mind, I can just see Disney 's contribution as rubbish I don't have to care about. It's technically the continuation of the saga. But since George, Mark Hamil and everyone else who's opinion matters, have all turned their backs on it, I feel it's okay to see SW as George's 6 and that's it 😉
This is pretty much how I feel about SW. George's 6 films are the ultimate canon and a complete story, the idea came from him. Disney defenders can argue that because Disney own it you have to accept whatever trite they make as being canon, no not really. It doesn't matter who paid for what and all the legalities around it, they can't actually physically grasp and change George's intention and vision for the Star Wars universe which he has already conveyed to us in the 6 movies and that's what I will always follow and respect.
Good. Your love for SW has made you powerful. Now… fulfil your destiny! One video suggestion: what if after the happy landing of half a ship, the Jedi went to the security recordings of the half ship and saw how Anakin really destroyed Dooku.
As I had mentioned a few theory’s talks episodes ago, I still think in terms of fan fictions you should bring back the versus series, there’s so many versus battles with characters put against each other you could do, and I enjoyed seeing all the lore/abilities behind each character in depth
Tbh Ive seen, ans I think a lot of people have, this coming for quite a while now. Its hard to talk about something you love so negatively for so long, itd be really great to start hearing some more positivity from the Star Wars community even if that means going back and just talking about the old stuff and not focusing on Disneys current plans
I would like to hear your opinion about the Darth Bane trilogy. I think these novels give a great different perspective on the Sith and their way of thinking, their ideology, and philosophy, which is very deep. I think if Lucas had directed a trilogy about Bane and the Sith, showing us a different perspective on the whole conflict between Light and Dark, it would have been very enriching. I wish he would have done that after the prequels. It would have been incredible...
Never in a million years i thought Star Wars would cheapen and degrade like this. And now the core star wars fandom’s mindset has devolved into something similar to the Star Trek core fandom.
I’m sorry Theory, but Star Wars will not come back alive as long as Disney has their hands on this franchise. I’m really excited to see more content from you though. Keep up the great work ❤. The force will be with you, and always brother ❤.
The fan fictions are what I love the most, that's why I join your channel. Especially the What If series, both AU and I recall some funky funny ones like Anakin addicted to Bacta
I’m very curious to know more about how Star Wars was supposed to play out before the Disney buy out, and the comparisons on how the new shows pull from that lore.
I'm so happy to hear that you are going back to basics! I love that idea. I would like to see more of everything, comics ect. Mostly, I would like to see more fan fics and animations. Episode 3 of the Luke and Anakin/Back to the Future crossover maybe? I can't wait to see the future of your channel.
Please cover the legends comics that can be hard to come by at a reasonable price these days. I’m really interested in the Crimson Empire stuff, everything with Cade Skywalker, even some old republic.
I would for sure love some good coverage on the old legends comics. As someone who pretty much missed out on that era of Star Wars, I would love to see some comprehensive videos on those from you
I started playing Jedi Knight II and bought some of the Dark Horse omnibuses online. Those comics were great. I feel like re-reading the novels too, most of which I really enjoyed. Listening to you speak to Mauler and Ryan rekindled my love for real Star Wars.
Disney should call Star Wars something else. I applaud you for going back to what truly is Star Wars. Truth be told I usually skip content that deal with whatever comes after the Last Jedi….pretty much the death of our beloved franchise. Thank you for what you do.
I think as fans we have the right to pick and choose what is canon in Star Wars. I have decided that the "sequel trilogy" is not canon at all Nor any of the Disney Star Wars books. Perhaps except for some of the Thrawn stuff like Thrawn Alliances.
The Sequel Trilogy it is not my cup of tea....If any of you liked the Sequel trilogy ( I had high hopes after The Force Awakens, even though it was a copy of a New Hope) more power to you. To each its own. I am just not interested in what for me it is not Star Wars but a parallel world. As I said Disney should have called it something else....'A what if' kind of trilogy.
I completely agree that you should return your focus thto e content that made your channel succeed at the first place; Reviewing pre-Disney Star Wars films, Legends novels, Legends comics, and fanfiction scenarios. This is opposed to reviews about Disney Star Wars serieses and leaks about future Star Wars media. I especially loved your alternate history scenarios such as "What if Anakin killed Palpatine?" or "What if Yoda went with Obi-Wan to fight Anakin?", and I would love to see you make more alternate timelines. I am glad you are returning to your roots.
I'm a retired Star Wars Fan. Literally a fan from the 1980's through 2017. 2017 was the Last Jedi and the end of my fandom. That was the date of the divorce and funeral.
You know what would be really cool? If you could host interviews of creators who made fan films, concept arts, side stories, and comics. You can talk with them how Star Wars impacted their lives and how it inspired their creativity/projects. Perfect example, maybe someone’s project that ended up in Star Wars Visions.
Hey theory, did you ever notice in a new hope whilst during the trench run scene you see a close up of darth vaders eyes, I've never noticed it before.

This is so good to hear! I used to watch you so much back in the early Disney days when the hype was high, and you had so much passion back then because you were excited and loved covering that early Disney Star Wars content. Lucas's Star Wars will never die! I like this change very much and am excited for more lore stuff. I've really been enjoying your behind the scenes stuff and especially George's comments.

Agreed
Definitely
I actually cancelled my Disney plus membership out of anger, I think it’s time Disney feels the sting from their actions.

Disney doesn't make Star Wars content Lucasfilm does, ya know the company that made the EU.

As Palpatine would say; " *A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.* "
Fully onboard with this, dude.

@@grandmasteryado8478 perfectly said. Nothing but negativity from this channel.

I think if anyone can do it, it's someone with a passion and true love for star wars as you

k4771 Doesn't matter.
FFS, please stop with this determination to be the world's most notorious whores."
If it wasn't for FX, and the occasional anime, I'd definitely cancel my subscription to Hulu. There's also not enough people hating Disney for killing The Muppets franchise, IMO.

I’m all for this! I’d love to see more of the Old republic era I’m a big fan of the game and I feel like there’s so much that can be covered
I'm OK with most everything pre-Disney, personally, but with your sentiments i agree. Disney is assho

@@The.Ronin.Kuzuri They are all low-hanging fruit except season 7, and even that is mid at times. Ahsoka and Kenobi should have been 10/10 and they shit the bed, so I am out.
I love when you cover star wars history and lore. What if stuff is fun too. Definitely do more of that. Eventually we will get good star wars again. Ps. Show off some action figures and statues.
This has been my mindset for about a year... Legends is the Star Wars we love not the Disney garbage
No because Legends isn’t Canon either. Disney has released some gems so don’t try to be stupid out of pettiness.
@achaudhari101 Name Disney content that is better than the average Legends comics...
@@Durpl Andor? Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor? Rogue One? Tales of the Jedi?
@@achaudhari101 Have you read any of the comics...?
@@achaudhari101 This man really said *Tales of the Jedi* 😂😂
This is so good to hear! I used to watch you so much back in the early Disney days when the hype was high, and you had so much passion back then because you were excited and loved covering that early Disney Star Wars content. After The Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker, it became more apparent that you weren't exactly loving what was happening anymore, and your passion seemed to wane in your videos. I'm so excited to see the new direction you take things!
Really glad you're switching things up man. I unsubscribed awhile back because I was so tired of Disney star wars
Good on you. Do what makes you happy and we will be there to support 👍🏻
It will only go for so long before he's out of content his channel will die out too
@@FinanceWageSlave well he can always pivot to also making content making fun of the bad Disney star wars content, then rebrand into Nerd Theory where he will send out polls to the community on what franchise they would like to see next for the next few videos before changing it up some. plenty for him to pivot to once the content dries up, the extended universe is a massive place where he can make tons of content for a few years
Lucas's Star Wars will never die! I like this change very much and am excited for more lore stuff. I've really been enjoying your behind the scenes stuff and especially George's comments.
Amen! 👏🏻💯 STAR WARS *is* George Lucas and without him, it wouldn't exist. Even if Disney now owns it, it will ALWAYS be George's baby.
That's true star wars the stuff we have now is not star wars it's star woke
If you could go full on EU and try to cover it as close to chronological order as possible, all the way to post Yuuzahn Vong war that would be really cool. And welcome back to the light side. We missed you 😊
With the state of star wars it’s up to us to keep it alive, the vision George had and the beauty of the universe
The galexy far far away he created for all of us, and it’s for us to create new story’s and adventures within that galexy
This is why I’m beyond exited for Vader ep 2, because i believe there is more love n this fan film and by association this fan film series then anything Disney has made since the buyout, words cannot describe how exited i am, good luck my friends and everyone reading this, only you can make the art you see in your head, may for the force be with every single one of you
And when Disney fixes this franchise you can sit back and laugh at how you were foolish for quitting.
@@achaudhari101 don’t know what the hate is for but oh well, I wasnt making sly digs at the sequels, there there and there was 1 or two good ideas in them but personally in my opinion there not good, but that’s just me, I don’t belive Disney will
Solve this as they haven’t with marvel, they haven’t with there own movies and they are trying to buy out Doctor who next, the actual visionary’s are people
Like you and me who obviously love what we love and hate what we hate. So go and make what you love and show people why you love it, that’s what art is all about and that’s what SWT is doing so fantastically here
And to not put too fine a point on it
That’s why art is subjective
I don’t need to like what you make and you don’t need to like what I make but I don’t doubt whatever you make was made with love of the franchises you love, will Disney fix this franchise ? I don’t think so but I’m open to be proven wrong, best to see what the future holds
@@grimnirproductions I wasn’t talking about thenSequels but the other stuff as well.
@@grimnirproductions I have seen this happen before where a company goes through the lowest of lows but ends up finding a way to redeem itself like what Nintendo. And I was happy for two things: That I can be proud to be a fan and a customer, and seeing joy that the same people who relished seeing I love suffer, got a taste of their own medicine as they become irrelevant and I laugh at them. Being good and evil is a blessing and a curse but I don't care.
As someone who doesn’t know much about all the legends and comics and stuff outside of canon, I’m pumped to learn. The Disney stuff really does suck. Your content is sick
Not all of it. 90% of it is shit yes but there is that 10% that's good.
@@muigokublack6487clinging on to the 10% of good stuff in a pile of shit is not a worthwhile endeavor
As someone way older and done with all this way sooner, I'm glad you finally see the forest for the trees. Love your work by the way. I miss the 70's.
Comics and Fan Fiction Return!!! Hellz Yeah General Theory 🤘 Getting ready for Vader Episode 2
I definitely want to see anything George approved so I’m stoked
Great news brother! I mean totally sad that Disney has tanked SW, but your lore videos and fanfic "what-ifs" were always my favorite!
So glad to hear your new direction. Love the channel and your insight into the Universe. Count this as another vote of support from your community! Only wish creators like you had more of a say in Star Wars direction than Disney’s beancounters
Yes, behind you 100%! Legends is Star Wars. I’d love it if someone would cover the Legends Han Solo Trilogy books. They’re a perfect example of how Han’s story should have been.
I’m so delighted you decided to go for an animated format for the second episode and actually focus on the story being told other than how it looks in live action, some of the greatest clone wars episodes were created from digital art 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I love this brother 🙏
You've got this and we support you.
I'm working on some what ifs... but I'm primarily a writer.
So ill aim to catch you in a live or something.
But do it man.
Going back to basics is ideal.
