What if Palpatine had an experience in the Light Side of the Force, and gave up on most of his plans just before Order 66, but still wanted to call out the Jedi’s hypocrisy?

@@shadewolf0075 Plus, Anakin had a bit of screw loose at the time. Everything he did was out of sheer desperation. That said, this is a perfect example of one of the reasons I hate prequels. Originally with the OT Darth Vader was the Dark Lord of the Sith and enforced the Emperor's will. And then... the prequel trilogy happened, as did more and more of Vader's backstory. Having Vader turn against the Empire as he did in this video would've made perfect sense with the backstory that the prequels provided. Had the prequels been released first, it's highly likely something like this would have happened. However, because the prequels were made after the fact, thus requiring Anakin to turn into Darth Vader and spend 20 years as a ruthless enforcer, the more that gets added to his backstory the less Vader as a character in the OT makes sense because they have to awkwardly shoehorn that backstory to fit.
Man this was great, the whole Vader or in this case Anakin setting up the Empire to fall from within like that was well detailed. This gave me Metal Gear vibes, Anakin felt like a combination of Solid Snake and Ocelot. Obviously Anakin's actions had consequences he had to live with but was able to power through for a better tomorrow which does add this hopeful feeling to the what if. And the creativity in Anakin setting up the freak accidents and his behind the scenes actions felt well done. Heh... "What If Vader was a double agent in the Empire." That'd be a nice alternate name for this.
@@SpaceCase1214 Moreover, Tarkin's probably the type of person who would believe lying is a sign of weakness. Had Sidious threatened him with Force Lightning, he'd of probably submitted happily. But, because Sidious used deception to gain his loyalty, now Tarkin believes Sidious is insecure, and doesn't deserve to be Emperor via his own doctrine.
@@TarsonTalon I could see that making a degree of sense. I mean Tarkin was a pretty big advocate of brute force and using fear of that to control the galaxy, and could kind of a meathead about it. Even if Tarkin wouldn't think the way you describe, just his son being killed on Palpatine's orders alone could be motivation for him seeking revenge while still maintaining his beliefs. Perhaps Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin simply sees the ordered killing of his son Admiral Gerosh Tarkin by Wilhuff's oldest and closest political ally as being an inexcusable betrayal of the Grand Moff himself. At the same time, perhaps Tarkin further convinces himself (or maybe even believes it) that Palpatine/Darth Sidious is simply not being effective in dealing with rebellions and senators and such who wish to restore the Republic. Perhaps Tarkin convinces himself or even believes that he would do a better job in crushing them, and that Palpatine is ultimately an obstacle to that victory. Maybe he gets tired of Palpatine not dealing with Separatist Holdouts fast enough, especially after some CIS holdout counteroffensive that is effectively. Maybe Tarkin loses patience due to the failure of the government under Palpatine to deal with Saw Guerera and his partisans, perhaps after some particularly successful and devastating attack on a key military instillation like the Kuat Shipyards or the military academy at Carida or Anaxes, or maybe even on Coruscant itself, attacking the heart of the regime. I don't know about Tarkin joining the rebels with the aim of restoring the Republic...but perhaps he launches a coup against Palpatine, or maybe a military insurrection to try to fight a civil war for control of the galaxy? Hell, maybe he waits until the Death Star is completed and he is in control of it, and he uses loyalists of his to seize control, with the Death Star being a key part of his plans to overthrow Palpatine.
I also love Anakin's Redemption but, it would have been better if Anakin had redeemed himself by simply changing as a Person for the better. And starting to see Palpatine's true colors when he was a Jedi Padawan because, I don't like that Anakin couldn't see his true colors until it was too late. He adored Palpatine so much that it could make his eyes blind. And make his ears deaf. I would have preferred that Anakin was insightful. And observant towards Palpatine and not vice versa because, I really always love stories where Anakin can be wise. Smart. Insightful. And observant despite his young age.
And I'll be honest, I considering that Anakin from 3 to 9 years old is on Tatooine where the Hutts rule, then there’s definitely no point in Anakin dreaming of an effective dictatorship for The Galaxy. And for The Republic with a smile on its face after he gained freedom, he immediately left there and became a Jedi from the age of 9 like In The Attack Of The Clones when he was 19 years old with Padme on a Picnic in the Lake District. I didn't mind if Anakin would have been shown as determined. Confident. Fearless. Serious. Brave. Militant. Charming. And charismatic like Leia but, if Anakin In The Star Wars Prequels would have been shown as Merciful. Compassionate. Peaceful. And a sympathetic Altruist. Pacifist. And the Peacemaker as Luke then to Lucas for his good portrayal Of The Light Side Of Anakin’s Personality In The Star Wars Prequels, we would definitely be left with an unforgettable pleasure. It's a pity that Lucas, having focused on depicting the Dark Side of Anakin's Personality, completely forgot to show us more of The Light Side Of Anakin's Personality In The Star Wars Prequels. Glory To The Force, that Anakin is portrayed better in Ahsoka 2023 than In The Star Wars Prequels. And that we always have Our Grand Master who, will always provide us with the Positive, so to speak, Evolution of Anakin as a Personality. Poor Hayden, he finally redeemed Anakin at least for Ahsoka 2023 with his excellent acting. And to be honest, his Anakin even reminded me there of Cole Julian McMahon From Charmed.

I had originally came up with the idea of Leai saving Vader as a child, but this story has better ring to it. Day 13 of my list. What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme, Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love? Side note: I noticed a lot of your stories has Bail Organa being the chancellor in the end, so I was wondering about a what if Padme was chancellor or at the very least thinking of making Padme chancellor at the end of the story.
Great story and a worthy end for the Empire. What if Vader arrived at the Inquisitor base early and upon seeing Leia's fear of him made him remember Padme and forced him to face the truth of what he had become. Not returning to the light but no longer a Sith, more of a Grey Jedi who used both the light and the dark. What if Anakin and Kit Fisto were dispatched to Dooku's palace on secret mission to find information on the Sith lord after the rescue of the chancellor.
Later April Fools what if suggestion. What if Qui-gon Jinn was a prankster as a force ghost? There's nothing in Star Wars lore that necessarily saying that this would be against the will of the force.
This was a great take. Nicely done. My only suggestion would be that Vader's guilt/trauma at having killed the children/younglings in the Jedi temple have a bigger effect on him as well as Obi-Wan's willingness to trust him, & be a bigger part of Anakin's efforts at atonement. It might even conflict with his desire to be in Luke & Leia's life, having him question why he would deserve to have them if he kept those other children from a long life. Also, i would love to see a story similar to this, but where Thrawn lives, still figures out Vader is Anakin, & they bring down the Empire together with the Alliance.
What if Anakin was Guybrush Threepwood, mighty pirate? Adventuring across the Tri-Planet area, dealing with the evil undead pirate Captain Palpatine, and winning the love of his life Governor Padme Amidala. Basically, I'd love the story of the Monkey Island games told in the Star Wars universe. The first 4 games are a product of LucasArts and reference other Lucas properties like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, etc.

This was a nice story and was quite enjoyable the whole way through. I do admit though I really hate the force projection scene, and I have yet to see it used in a way that I enjoy. Still a great story 9.9/10
Now that was an interesting and well done video! I really liked the way the story formed. Although, a small note, is that I heard that Vader was actually really close to having his lungs fully healed in canon. He just needed another week or so in Bacta. So in your story, with him being in Bacta more, I think he could have lived without any respirators. Just a small thing.
Day 16: What if Darth Zannah was a Jedi? Either she refrains from killing the Jedi who originally comes for her, or another Jedi takes her instead soon after, assuming Bane doesn't find her or a twin of some kind exists. She undergoes training until she becomes a Jedi Knight or perhaps even a Jedi Master. Then, she receives one of two visions. The first vision portrays Anakin or Luke as the chosen one. She believes in the prophecy and enters stasis, intending to train them to confront Palpatine during the Clone Wars or the time of the Empire. The second vision involves Palpatine himself, maybe as the Emperor. Believing that she is the chosen one due to this, she enters stasis until the Clone Wars, awakened by the Force or some other catalyst. To fight him herself. To maintain her characterization as the Zannah we know and love, she excels as a master of Form Three and is proficient in Jedi Alchemy or sorcery, perhaps even both. I think the second vision would make for a better story, as training Anakin/Luke videos are already abundant on your channel.
Here’s a good one to make: “What if the Jedi secretly ordered thousands of Jedi to be cloned 20 years before Episode I?” I think the Jedi sensing the dark side beginning to engulf the galaxy was enough to convince them to make a very secret choice by getting hundreds of the most powerful Jedi knights and masters to be cloned. I think this would catch Palpatine by complete surprise as the Jedi would do the cloning in a designed facility in the depths of one of the old worlds such as Ossus or Ak-To.
The Yuuzhan Vong would destroy the New Republic. However they in turn decimated by the First Order. Starkiller Base carries them. If they fall the Sith Eternal would win a war of attrition. A fleet of thousands of Star Destroyers that can each destroy an entire planet would be unstoppable
When I first saw this video was coming up, I thought "Oh, Double Agent Vader!". The only thing with that is that for someone who reads a lot on AO3, that is the flagship title of Fialleril's Tatooine Slave Culture fanon. Basically, Fialleril created a concept of a secret culture that exists amongst the slaves of Tatooine, with its own gods, myths, stories, language, and customs. There is another fic series named "Desert Storm" by a different writer that is usually quoted as one of the tentpole fics too, but now, people take the general slave culture and throw it into fics as flavour, even in fics that are not featuring Anakin, or Tatooine, with the story I am currently reading actually having a scene where an elder slave explains that no one is sure which world it started on, and the circumstances may change details (like ocean waves replacing sandstorms, and a purrgil god being the spacefaring cousin of the kraytt dragon goddess Leia), but it is has spread across slaves all around the galaxy as they have been sold off. The Double Agent Vader storyline has the trigger moment for Vader being a mission he is sent on to Tattooine, where while he is there, he hears a Gan-Amu (slave "Grandmother" wise-woman) telling the stories of Ekkreth, the Trickster god. He reconnects with his birth culture, adopts the identity of Ekkreth, and starts working as, well, a double agent, feeding intel to the Rebllion, which in turn results in him sneaking data drives into Princess Leia's pockets, and eventually becoming her mentor in mind shielding when he realises she's Force Sensitive, and eventually building her a lightsaber (which Luke spots the symbol of Leia the Kraytt Dragon on and thinks it looks like something he knows but has misgivings because how would a Coreworld Princess know Amavikka symbols?).
1) In Marvel What if, Ultron and Watcher briefly broke into Mustafar overseeing Vader's castle. What if Vader senses a great disturbance was coming and prepared himself being in that brief moment and while Ultron is fully focused fighting Watcher, Vader pulls out with the Force the Infinity Stones from Ultron, so fast that neither Watcher or Ultron can react and they continue breaking into another dimension, leaving Vader with the Infinity Stones on his hands? 2) What if knowing how treacherous the Sith are and that obviously Palpatine wants Anakin as his apprentice, Dooku set up a deadman switch in case Palpatine betrayed him? Just as Palpatine is declaring the Empire the timer hits 0 and the Holonet is hit with a full confession from Dooku as well as mountains of evidence with conversations between him and Palpatine/Sidious? The spread by the Holonet is done by Super Tactical Droids specifically commanded to ignore any shutdown command. 3) After learning about Darth Sidious in Geonosis rather than dismissing it, the Jedi Council combine their force power, with Anakin invited, to try to find the truth. A future far ahead in a galaxy far, far away, a young man is falling from a heart attack only to suddenly find himself floating in a starry strange world full of portals as he is pulled into one. The great detective L. Lawliet appears in the council chamber with the information about him imprimpted on the minds of the Council and Anakin (L knows nothing about them so they will need to explain). It is clear this is a gift from The Force to help them solve the case of Darth Sidious. 4) What if the Anakin from the World Between Worlds went back to beginning if the Empire to train Ahsoka in both the light and dark as the successor of the Chosen One to bring an earlier end of the Empire and prevent the events in the sequels? He could even eventually direct her to bathe in the pool of knowledge and drink fron the font of power making Ahsoka a being of balance ready to whoop the Sith's asses.

What's good about this is that Kanan gets to live, as does Cere and Trilla. Couple that with Ahsoka never having to fight Vader and we have a decent roster of powerful unorthodox Jedi to kiclstart the Jedi order again. Cal Trilla Cere Ahsoka Obi-Wan Ezra Kanan Luke and hopefully Leia too
What if Empire was doing so well that out of bordom, Darth Sidious and Darth Vader crafted their Jedi alter ego and join the Rebellion to fight their own Empire and unintentionally learn to emphasize with the Rebellion that they forgot about their true identity as ruthless Sith Lords?
What if the Sith Empire returned during the High Republic Era? What if Avar Kriss and Elzar Mann had a child? What if Cal And Merrin had a daughter? What if Ezra and Sabin had a child What if Luke Skywalker found love? What if Luke and Leia found out they were siblings earlier? What if Padme was enslaved? What if Han was saved from Jabba but Leia failed to kill him and escape so was still enslaved?
What if Dooku went with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan back to Naboo after the conversation in Tales of the Jedi? What is Dooku accpeted Yaddle's offer and fought Sidious? What if the Jedi Council went with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan back to Naboo? What if Dooku was on the Jedi Council/What if there were 13 seats on the Jedi Council instead of 12? What if Cham Syndulla successfully assassinated Palpatine and Vader? What is General Grivious killed/captured Obi-Wan on Utapau?
I like to think Anakin has a Orange lightsaber now after trying to purify his Red Crystal showing he may now be free of Darth Sidious but still has the Dark Side. His suit would also be slightly different to his old Darth Vader suit more advance and more improved over the old suit with Bacta liquid slowly healing his body and the mask being more light kind of look like Revans mask but still retaining the Vader look without the helmet since he now wears his brown robes and hood. All this would make a great What If Star War's stories and that would make it thrive seeing other elseworld stories of the galaxy far far away.
What if Vader found yoda on degobah and Yoda successfully turns Vader back to the light, just before the events of A New Hope, everything else with luke still happens but obiwan lives?
What if Darth Jadus who Valkorion once called the greatest sith lord his old sith empire ever produced returned during the events of the sequel trilogy instead of palpatine?

What if the New Republic never signed a treaty with the empire and kept fighting the remnants? What if the New Republic did sign the treaty but kept militarizing and kept and adapted imperial technology and research (like Dr. Pershing)?
Their was a series of comics known as "Star Wars: Infinities" which were alternate history type stories where certain events and Characters take a different path. Now thinking about it, imagine a comic based on the scenarios you created, including this one?
What If on Halo 3's final mission the portal on the Ark sends the Forward unto Dawn (intact or split) carrying Master Chief, Cortana and Arbiter (all together, two or one depending if the ship splits or not) A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away . . . . Star wars (or to be more specific at the start or little before the Phantom Menace or New Hope) let the debate begin !?! Warning this is a work in progress! but feel free to take, edit and use in your final draft if you wish, just a small mention/credit of what I may have contributed will be fine with me :) Option 1, Arbiter solo: The front half of the Forward unto Dawn carrying Arbiter teleports into the Star Wars galaxy at speed, passes the CIS blockade, who are left wondering WTF was that, but of course turn their attention to another approaching ship ( Qui Gon Jinn / Obi Wan kenobi journey stays the same for now ... ) Arbiter crashes into the ocean or large lake on the planet of Naboo, after salvaging what he can and escaping the sinking wreck Arbiter sets off in search of civilization ... only at first to find Jar Jar Binks !?! ... After setting up camp for the night and having something to eat ( either human ration packs salvaged from the F.U.D | or some form of creature that Arbiter would be able to catch/eat ) lured by the smell of food Jar Jar " Attempts " to sneak up! ... Only to get caught (detected via Arbiters hunter/warrior senses ... that or his motion tracker) after a lot of begging/bargaining Arbiter takes pity on him and offers Jar Jar a deal, guide him to the " Human " capital of Naboo in exchange for food/protection (Jar Jar of course would accept this offer, what with being banished from going home for being clumsy) along the way perhaps they'll find a crashed but still operational warthog (which is worse, trusting Jar Jar to drive or shoot !) after some driving they come under attack from scouts of the droid invasion followed by the JEDI who come to their aid and ... could also appreciate a ride ... ( JJ will likely call Arbiter " Arby " for short throughout the story ) Option 2, Chief / Cortana: The back half of the Forward unto Dawn carrying Chief / Cortana teleports into from their perspective a unknown region of space! Cortana of course will start running scans of the area and drop a beacon for potential rescue (for about 4 years, 7 months, 10 days she won't be suffering from rampancy yet) ... oh would you look at that its the ship that Qui Gon Jinn/ Obi Wan kenobi are traveling on, after some basic introductions / explanations the JEDI will ask if MC/C would like to accompany them to the planet of Naboo or wait for another ship to give them a tow 1a) if they stay some time later the JEDI will send a message saying the CIS have just attempted to kill them, rather than being sitting ducks, Cortana uses what control they have over the F.U.D to steer it to Naboo for a controlled crash landing then using a escape pod. 1b) if they leave with the JEDI, the F.U.D will be left behind for now, will it stay adrift in space, get caught in Naboo's gravitational pull and crash there!) When arriving at the CIS blockade MC/C will have another two choices 2a) Stay in ship until what should be " short negotiations " are over! ... outcome: ship gets blown up with MC/C just about escaping the blast or rises from the wreckage like a Demon to the bewilderment of the battle droids 2b) Join the JEDI in the meeting to introduce themselves to this new galaxy or pretend to be acting security! ... outcome: oh boy, if the CIS were spooked about JEDI showing up in the original story, what are going to think Chief is ... Mandalorian perhaps ( they won't know anything about Cortana yet ) When Lord Sidious gives the order " kill them immediately " so the CIS blows up the horse they rode in on and " try " to gas the JEDI / Chief ... pfffft ha ha ha ha HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA cue the song ( Unyielding Soul ) | whichever scenario plays they link up and fight their way to the bridge (next question is can Cortana interface/hack the doors for the bridge e.g. is there a control panel they can hack? ... also don't forget the blast doors) still even after all that the droidika's with their shields may still be problematic leading to the group needing to sneakoff the ship! Option's 1/2 combined: When combining these perspectives most details stay the same, with the exception of Chief / Cortana telling the JEDI that Arbiter is about to crash-land on the planet of Naboo (or already has) they'll also be able to keep in contact with Arbiter via COM's until the CIS blocks communications!
There is no chance, A Redeemed Anakin, or a Ben would just blurt it out to Leia. She wouldn't be there for the first conversation Bail would infact stop her, they might discuss it after the first meeting, but afterwards Anakin would want her to stay thinking her parents are her parents, as they'd already done a good job, and if one day she was to find out, it'll be when she was older and when he'd been able to change the galaxy and get rid of Sidious. Anakin was too selfless he wouldn't take away Leia from her parents or even change her thoughts on them until they were completely accepting of him.
I LOVE THIS STORY! Leia's such a daddy's girl, both daddy's, even in canon she basically puts Bail on a pedestal and Anakin is basically all her rebel dreams come true in this what if. Anakin seals it with punking then killing the emperor though. Imo

One of Vader’s quotes is the he “destroyed Anakin skywalker” Vader doesn’t even truly believe this statement. If that was the case then Vader wouldn’t hate himself as much as he does. He wouldn’t care about the past, padme, Luke, obi-wan,etc. If they were truly separate people Vader wouldn’t have let Luke live the first time they fought. If Anakin is truly a separate personality that Vader “killed” then there would be nothing left to bring back to the light.

This would be a lot better than the canon story. You can still have the Empire, but Anakin doesn't have to die like he did in the end of the canon story, he could redeem himself. This would make a great story line I feel like. Like if Star Wars did a few alternate timelines that were all canon in their own way
Question: How did Anakin know about force projection? Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but it sounded like Anakin would have been too busy to learn the technique and as far as I am aware neither Ben nor Ahsoka knew of it either.
He would probably experiment with the force here and there as he may not have had all the time in the galaxy with everything going on, but he would still have time to improve his use of the force at some points. That is my guess for how he learned the force projection technique, and I could 100% be wrong.

That said, this is a perfect example of one of the reasons I hate prequels. Originally with the OT Darth Vader was the Dark Lord of the Sith and enforced the Emperor's will. And then... the prequel trilogy happened, as did more and more of Vader's backstory. Having Vader turn against the Empire as he did in this video would've made perfect sense with the backstory that the prequels provided. Had the prequels been released first, it's highly likely something like this would have happened.
However, because the prequels were made after the fact, thus requiring Anakin to turn into Darth Vader and spend 20 years as a ruthless enforcer, the more that gets added to his backstory the less Vader as a character in the OT makes sense because they have to awkwardly shoehorn that backstory to fit.

Man this was great, the whole Vader or in this case Anakin setting up the Empire to fall from within like that was well detailed. This gave me Metal Gear vibes, Anakin felt like a combination of Solid Snake and Ocelot.
Obviously Anakin's actions had consequences he had to live with but was able to power through for a better tomorrow which does add this hopeful feeling to the what if. And the creativity in Anakin setting up the freak accidents and his behind the scenes actions felt well done. Heh... "What If Vader was a double agent in the Empire." That'd be a nice alternate name for this.

@@TarsonTalon I could see that making a degree of sense. I mean Tarkin was a pretty big advocate of brute force and using fear of that to control the galaxy, and could kind of a meathead about it.
Even if Tarkin wouldn't think the way you describe, just his son being killed on Palpatine's orders alone could be motivation for him seeking revenge while still maintaining his beliefs. Perhaps Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin simply sees the ordered killing of his son Admiral Gerosh Tarkin by Wilhuff's oldest and closest political ally as being an inexcusable betrayal of the Grand Moff himself.
At the same time, perhaps Tarkin further convinces himself (or maybe even believes it) that Palpatine/Darth Sidious is simply not being effective in dealing with rebellions and senators and such who wish to restore the Republic. Perhaps Tarkin convinces himself or even believes that he would do a better job in crushing them, and that Palpatine is ultimately an obstacle to that victory. Maybe he gets tired of Palpatine not dealing with Separatist Holdouts fast enough, especially after some CIS holdout counteroffensive that is effectively. Maybe Tarkin loses patience due to the failure of the government under Palpatine to deal with Saw Guerera and his partisans, perhaps after some particularly successful and devastating attack on a key military instillation like the Kuat Shipyards or the military academy at Carida or Anaxes, or maybe even on Coruscant itself, attacking the heart of the regime.
I don't know about Tarkin joining the rebels with the aim of restoring the Republic...but perhaps he launches a coup against Palpatine, or maybe a military insurrection to try to fight a civil war for control of the galaxy? Hell, maybe he waits until the Death Star is completed and he is in control of it, and he uses loyalists of his to seize control, with the Death Star being a key part of his plans to overthrow Palpatine.

I also love Anakin's Redemption but, it would have been better if Anakin had redeemed himself by simply changing as a Person for the better. And starting to see Palpatine's true colors when he was a Jedi Padawan because, I don't like that Anakin couldn't see his true colors until it was too late. He adored Palpatine so much that it could make his eyes blind. And make his ears deaf. I would have preferred that Anakin was insightful. And observant towards Palpatine and not vice versa because, I really always love stories where Anakin can be wise. Smart. Insightful. And observant despite his young age.

This was a great take. Nicely done. My only suggestion would be that Vader's guilt/trauma at having killed the children/younglings in the Jedi temple have a bigger effect on him as well as Obi-Wan's willingness to trust him, & be a bigger part of Anakin's efforts at atonement. It might even conflict with his desire to be in Luke & Leia's life, having him question why he would deserve to have them if he kept those other children from a long life. Also, i would love to see a story similar to this, but where Thrawn lives, still figures out Vader is Anakin, & they bring down the Empire together with the Alliance.

Now that was an interesting and well done video! I really liked the way the story formed. Although, a small note, is that I heard that Vader was actually really close to having his lungs fully healed in canon. He just needed another week or so in Bacta. So in your story, with him being in Bacta more, I think he could have lived without any respirators. Just a small thing.

Day 16: What if Darth Zannah was a Jedi?
Either she refrains from killing the Jedi who originally comes for her, or another Jedi takes her instead soon after, assuming Bane doesn't find her or a twin of some kind exists. She undergoes training until she becomes a Jedi Knight or perhaps even a Jedi Master.
Then, she receives one of two visions. The first vision portrays Anakin or Luke as the chosen one. She believes in the prophecy and enters stasis, intending to train them to confront Palpatine during the Clone Wars or the time of the Empire.
The second vision involves Palpatine himself, maybe as the Emperor. Believing that she is the chosen one due to this, she enters stasis until the Clone Wars, awakened by the Force or some other catalyst. To fight him herself.
To maintain her characterization as the Zannah we know and love, she excels as a master of Form Three and is proficient in Jedi Alchemy or sorcery, perhaps even both. I think the second vision would make for a better story, as training Anakin/Luke videos are already abundant on your channel.
This is by far my most favorite story I could probably see George Lucas make a what if exactly like this amazing work

“What if the Jedi secretly ordered thousands of Jedi to be cloned 20 years before Episode I?” I think the Jedi sensing the dark side beginning to engulf the galaxy was enough to convince them to make a very secret choice by getting hundreds of the most powerful Jedi knights and masters to be cloned. I think this would catch Palpatine by complete surprise as the Jedi would do the cloning in a designed facility in the depths of one of the old worlds such as Ossus or Ak-To.
What if Han Solo was adopted by Mandalorians?
What if the Yuuzhan Vong were canon?
What if Chewbacca was Force-sensitive?
The Yuuzhan Vong would destroy the New Republic. However they in turn decimated by the First Order. Starkiller Base carries them. If they fall the Sith Eternal would win a war of attrition. A fleet of thousands of Star Destroyers that can each destroy an entire planet would be unstoppable
This was fascinating, This needs a part 2 to show and explain how this new order and galactic setup deals with the yuzangvon War.
When I first saw this video was coming up, I thought "Oh, Double Agent Vader!". The only thing with that is that for someone who reads a lot on AO3, that is the flagship title of Fialleril's Tatooine Slave Culture fanon. Basically, Fialleril created a concept of a secret culture that exists amongst the slaves of Tatooine, with its own gods, myths, stories, language, and customs. There is another fic series named "Desert Storm" by a different writer that is usually quoted as one of the tentpole fics too, but now, people take the general slave culture and throw it into fics as flavour, even in fics that are not featuring Anakin, or Tatooine, with the story I am currently reading actually having a scene where an elder slave explains that no one is sure which world it started on, and the circumstances may change details (like ocean waves replacing sandstorms, and a purrgil god being the spacefaring cousin of the kraytt dragon goddess Leia), but it is has spread across slaves all around the galaxy as they have been sold off.
The Double Agent Vader storyline has the trigger moment for Vader being a mission he is sent on to Tattooine, where while he is there, he hears a Gan-Amu (slave "Grandmother" wise-woman) telling the stories of Ekkreth, the Trickster god. He reconnects with his birth culture, adopts the identity of Ekkreth, and starts working as, well, a double agent, feeding intel to the Rebllion, which in turn results in him sneaking data drives into Princess Leia's pockets, and eventually becoming her mentor in mind shielding when he realises she's Force Sensitive, and eventually building her a lightsaber (which Luke spots the symbol of Leia the Kraytt Dragon on and thinks it looks like something he knows but has misgivings because how would a Coreworld Princess know Amavikka symbols?).
This does make me wonder how the story would have gone if Vader had defected after witnessing for the first time what Death Star was capable of doing
1) In Marvel What if, Ultron and Watcher briefly broke into Mustafar overseeing Vader's castle. What if Vader senses a great disturbance was coming and prepared himself being in that brief moment and while Ultron is fully focused fighting Watcher, Vader pulls out with the Force the Infinity Stones from Ultron, so fast that neither Watcher or Ultron can react and they continue breaking into another dimension, leaving Vader with the Infinity Stones on his hands?
2) What if knowing how treacherous the Sith are and that obviously Palpatine wants Anakin as his apprentice, Dooku set up a deadman switch in case Palpatine betrayed him?
Just as Palpatine is declaring the Empire the timer hits 0 and the Holonet is hit with a full confession from Dooku as well as mountains of evidence with conversations between him and Palpatine/Sidious?
The spread by the Holonet is done by Super Tactical Droids specifically commanded to ignore any shutdown command.
3) After learning about Darth Sidious in Geonosis rather than dismissing it, the Jedi Council combine their force power, with Anakin invited, to try to find the truth. A future far ahead in a galaxy far, far away, a young man is falling from a heart attack only to suddenly find himself floating in a starry strange world full of portals as he is pulled into one. 4) What if the Anakin from the World Between Worlds went back to beginning if the Empire to train Ahsoka in both the light and dark as the successor of the Chosen One to bring an earlier end of the Empire and prevent the events in the sequels? He could even eventually direct her to bathe in the pool of knowledge and drink fron the font of power making Ahsoka a being of balance ready to whoop the Sith's asses.

What's good about this is that Kanan gets to live, as does Cere and Trilla. Couple that with Ahsoka never having to fight Vader and we have a decent roster of powerful unorthodox Jedi to kiclstart the Jedi order again.

I like to think Anakin has a Orange lightsaber now after trying to purify his Red Crystal showing he may now be free of Darth Sidious but still has the Dark Side. His suit would also be slightly different to his old Darth Vader suit more advance and more improved over the old suit with Bacta liquid slowly healing his body and the mask being more light kind of look like Revans mask but still retaining the Vader look without the helmet since he now wears his brown robes and hood.
All this would make a great What If Star War's stories and that would make it thrive seeing other elseworld stories of the galaxy far far away.
What if Vader found yoda on degobah and Yoda successfully turns Vader back to the light, just before the events of A New Hope, everything else with luke still happens but obiwan lives?

I like the mental image that Vader unable to feel close to any colleagues, made an army of droids to cooperate and maybe consult with.
What If on Halo 3's final mission the portal on the Ark sends the Forward unto Dawn (intact or split) carrying Master Chief, Cortana and Arbiter (all together, two or one depending if the ship splits or not) A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away . . . . Star wars (or to be more specific at the start or little before the Phantom Menace or New Hope) let the debate begin !?!
Warning this is a work in progress! but feel free to take, edit and use in your final draft if you wish, just a small mention/credit of what I may have contributed will be fine with me :)
Option 1, Arbiter solo: The front half of the Forward unto Dawn carrying Arbiter teleports into the Star Wars galaxy at speed, passes the CIS blockade, who are left wondering WTF was that, but of course turn their attention to another approaching ship ( Qui Gon Jinn / Obi Wan kenobi journey stays the same for now ... ) Arbiter crashes into the ocean or large lake on the planet of Naboo, after salvaging what he can and escaping the sinking wreck Arbiter sets off in search of civilization ... only at first to find Jar Jar Binks !?! ... After setting up camp for the night and having something to eat ( either human ration packs salvaged from the F.U.D | or some form of creature that Arbiter would be able to catch/eat ) lured by the smell of food Jar Jar " Attempts " to sneak up! ... Only to get caught (detected via Arbiters hunter/warrior senses ... that or his motion tracker) after a lot of begging/bargaining Arbiter takes pity on him and offers Jar Jar a deal, guide him to the " Human " capital of Naboo in exchange for food/protection (Jar Jar of course would accept this offer, what with being banished from going home for being clumsy) along the way perhaps they'll find a crashed but still operational warthog (which is worse, trusting Jar Jar to drive or shoot !) after some driving they come under attack from scouts of the droid invasion followed by the JEDI who come to their aid and ... could also appreciate a ride ... ( JJ will likely call Arbiter " Arby " for short throughout the story )
Option 2, Chief / Cortana: The back half of the Forward unto Dawn carrying Chief / Cortana teleports into from their perspective a unknown region of space! Cortana of course will start running scans of the area and drop a beacon for potential rescue (for about 4 years, 7 months, 10 days she won't be suffering from rampancy yet) ... oh would you look at that its the ship that Qui Gon Jinn/ Obi Wan kenobi are traveling on, after some basic introductions / explanations the JEDI will ask if MC/C would like to accompany them to the planet of Naboo or wait for another ship to give them a tow
1a) if they stay some time later the JEDI will send a message saying the CIS have just attempted to kill them, rather than being sitting ducks, Cortana uses what control they have over the F.U.D to steer it to Naboo for a controlled crash landing then using a escape pod.
1b) if they leave with the JEDI, the F.U.D will be left behind for now, will it stay adrift in space, get caught in Naboo's gravitational pull and crash there!) When arriving at the CIS blockade MC/C will have another two choices
2a) Stay in ship until what should be " short negotiations " are over! ... outcome: ship gets blown up with MC/C just about escaping the blast or rises from the wreckage like a Demon to the bewilderment of the battle droids
2b) Join the JEDI in the meeting to introduce themselves to this new galaxy or pretend to be acting security! ... outcome: oh boy, if the CIS were spooked about JEDI showing up in the original story, what are going to think Chief is ... Mandalorian perhaps ( they won't know anything about Cortana yet ) When Lord Sidious gives the order " kill them immediately " so the CIS blows up the horse they rode in on and " try " to gas the JEDI / Chief ... pfffft ha ha ha ha HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA cue the song ( Unyielding Soul ) | whichever scenario plays they link up and fight their way to the bridge (next question is can Cortana interface/hack the doors for the bridge e.g. is there a control panel they can hack? ... also don't forget the blast doors) still even after all that the droidika's with their shields may still be problematic leading to the group needing to sneakoff the ship!
Option's 1/2 combined: When combining these perspectives most details stay the same, with the exception of Chief / Cortana telling the JEDI that Arbiter is about to crash-land on the planet of Naboo (or already has) they'll also be able to keep in contact with Arbiter via COM's until the CIS blocks communications!
There is no chance, A Redeemed Anakin, or a Ben would just blurt it out to Leia.
She wouldn't be there for the first conversation Bail would infact stop her, they might discuss it after the first meeting, but afterwards Anakin would want her to stay thinking her parents are her parents, as they'd already done a good job, and if one day she was to find out, it'll be when she was older and when he'd been able to change the galaxy and get rid of Sidious.
Anakin was too selfless he wouldn't take away Leia from her parents or even change her thoughts on them until they were completely accepting of him.
It's hard to see Vader not having a grudge against Obi-Wan for the way he abandoned him to the fire, personally.

Leia's such a daddy's girl, both daddy's, even in canon she basically puts Bail on a pedestal and Anakin is basically all her rebel dreams come true in this what if. Anakin seals it with punking then killing the emperor though. Imo

@@Embersofthedark that’s just simply incorrect Vader and Anakin are one person, no spilt personality, no two minds sharing one body, Vader and Anakin are the same. One of Vader’s quotes is the he “destroyed Anakin skywalker” Vader doesn’t even truly believe this statement. If that was the case then Vader wouldn’t hate himself as much as he does. He wouldn’t care about the past, padme, Luke, obi-wan,etc. If they were truly separate people Vader wouldn’t have let Luke live the first time they fought. If Anakin is truly a separate personality that Vader “killed” then there would be nothing left to bring back to the light.

Casually the best sw what if ive ever watched . Finally Leia and Anakin get the happily ever after they deserved.
This would be a lot better than the canon story. You can still have the Empire, but Anakin doesn't have to die like he did in the end of the canon story, he could redeem himself. This would make a great story line I feel like. Like if Star Wars did a few alternate timelines that were all canon in their own way
Question: How did Anakin know about force projection? Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but it sounded like Anakin would have been too busy to learn the technique and as far as I am aware neither Ben nor Ahsoka knew of it either.

He would probably experiment with the force here and there as he may not have had all the time in the galaxy with everything going on, but he would still have time to improve his use of the force at some points. That is my guess for how he learned the force projection technique, and I could 100% be wrong.
