TOTAL AUCTION STEAL! 850 HP APR Built Audi RS7 Hiding $30,000 In Mods! We Tested 0-60 MPH!

  • This 2016 Audi RS7 was sitting at an auction hiding $30,000 in mods and just sold for cheap! The car has a mysterious history as it may have been an APR beta test car. With bigger turbos, meth injection, downpipes, and trick tuning the RS7 has 850 horsepower and spins all 4 tires with ease. This is an insane auction deal with an expensive wrap, $12,000 wheels and reminds me of the Samcrac Audi Rs7 salvage auction find but with a clean title.

One of the main things I love about your channel is that you are so diverse in your cars! I have been an old muscle car guy over the years (owned a 65 mustang, 65 box nova, 69 442, 70 Mach 1, 70 roadrunner) . I currently have an 11’ Lexus IS F and love it. It’s not the fastest on the road but I know it will run 0-60 in 4.2 stock for 200K miles without any issues. I do my own repair work and you have been an inspiration to me to dig deeper into service on my F. Your video about trans service and the BS about “Lifetime Fluid” got me to do a full trans service on my car and film it for my TH-cam channel to help other F owners. Thanks for all you share!

If you need it to be a daily and you deal with snow then you are going to need a second set of rims with a dedicated winter tire like a Blizzak. They go perfect in the snow with an actual winter only tire. I didn't want to deal with that, and that's why I have a C43 for my daily.

Alex for moddability and bullet-proof reliability I'd recommend an Audi with the supercharged 3.0L V6!!! There are tunes, pulley kits, dual pulley kits, intakes, headers, etc... available for it. The only known reliability issue with it is with age the crank pulley rubber degrades and causing the crank pulley to come apart. If you replace it ahead of time, you're golden! This was available in the S4, A5/S5, A6 and can be had in the $$$ mid-teens for a clean-sample

The Lamborghini V10 has also had a placement in the Audi R8, RS6, S8 and S6. The 5.2 V10 used in the S6 and S8 is different in several important aspects, namely a less robust crankshaft with a split pin design, cast aluminum pistons, and a traditional wet-sump oiling system, as well as differences in the valvetrain - all of which, combined, result in the much higher RPM red line and specific power output of the Gallardo and R8

Broke my heart letting it go, but I needed a bigger estate car and the fuel costs were killing me, so was replaced with 3.0TDi A6 Avant (replaced then again with current BiTDi Avant). Big money on this side of the pond though - still regarded as one of best RS cars ever made.

The b8 Rs5 is very reliable. It has the 4.2 FSI V8 and the fsi is important. The timing issue is fixed with upgraded guides after the plastic ones where always breaking in the old models. It also revs out to 8,250 RPM. It is a dual clutch and is a super comfy grand tourer especially with adjustable ride mode. Now if you find one at auction they’re a steal but for a little cheaper and a conventional transmission/manual option you can get a b8 s5 with the 4.2 that revs to 7k or the supercharged 3.0 which is very reliable as well
