I have seen a number of C7 and C7.5 models but only one C8. I'd get the new one because of added tech, rear-wheel steering, and those awesome lights. But I will take what I can get since I really like both of them.

The C7 aged so so well! Still looks stunning for a 2016 model car and hold its value so well.

@@D1man1525counting rollout is a good way to compare raw power but using time from 0 is the most precise way to calculate performance as it includes traction, power management and so on
Honestly the A7 is one of the prettiest cars of the past twenty years in my estimation. That rear end is just top shelf.

That actually happened to me a long time ago. I told a person that was a sweet e39 and smugly he laughed and said no, this is an M5. I started laughing and walked away. He was confused.

E39 M5’s still are my favorite M5. I have similar story. A friend of a friend told me he bought a new R8. It was in like 2012. I asked him if it was the V8 or V10. Blank stare from him.

2:50 As a owner of the C7 A7, I'm fairly certain the C8 was actually narrower, taller and shorter all by a very few millimeters. I talked to the dealership when it first came out. While they admitted this is the case, they also said the difference negligible because they are so marginal

c7 gen was released 2013 and the one they have is 2016... still not old but its the past generation and the technology/platforms have changed a lot
@@alalal123421 the generation they have was still made in 2018 my guy. It’s literally a car you could buy 3 years ago. Just looking at the headlight you can tell the model is newer. Search 2018 RS7. all they did was refresh the lights and tech like they do every gen.

As an owner of the 2016 RS7, you can change the steering "toughness" by the drive mode. Regular drive mode, the steering is really light. But switch to dynamic, and it stiffens the steering.

That intro was hilarious 😂 And yeah, 2021 for me just for all the new tech alone, but for only being 0.05 sec slower 0-60 and way better fuel economy- it’s a no-brainer for me.

I honestly like the styling of the 2016 better. I still remember the first time I saw that car and I instantly fell in love with it. there's no other car that I can remember the first time I saw it. it's one of my dream cars. my ex boss has a 2016 S7 and I drove it a few times and I got to tell you it lives up to my dreams.

The only category worse to get than used luxury boats (cars) is used luxury sportscars like the rs6/7, E63, S63 or M5/6/7
i love the DRC in my C5 RS6 .. soft on the straights and handles on rails on high speed/sharp turns . so many have switched it out for coilovers..mine has been issue-free and i love how it works . i had a VW Phaeton (4.2) before it and i would turn the suspension to comfort or whatever it was called (been over 5 yrs) on straight-aways on the highway , but i'd move it to "sport" when turns came up , but the DRC does it automatically ..lol ... RS7 will be my next car , need it to depreciate a few more years though (i'm not poor but not $70k-$100k rich) ..have lots of other toys too, boats , snowmobiles , quad , etc...
..this video though kinda makes me still feel good about my RS6 which is decatted and has a 17 psi "93" tune , wagner SMIC's ..i hit 60mph in 3.8 secs , 11.50 1/4 .. bought it with 80k miles 5 yrs ago for $14k (usd) ..has 176k now and has been very cheap and easy to own .Also have a "Level 10" torque converter..would have more miles but i have a stage 3 '01 2.7 , 6spd A6 for winter duty (it's unstoppable in deep snow here in northern michigan) it went from 148k miles when i bought it 5 yrs ago to 228k now .. also no issues until this winter , i'm driving the R car this winter because the A6 needs an alternator and i'm being cheap..lol ..also our winter started out lame until 3 weeks ago so was no need to fix the A6.. i'm impressed as hell with the snow my RS6 goes through with just general g-max tires ..over a foot a couple weeks ago and a buddy got stuck in my driveway in his grand cherokee , i drove right out without even spinning the tires..lol .. but my old RS6 is still a great car and i still love driving it just as much as i did when i bought it

Double check to see if it’s has a oil strainer recall.. if so then it also has a 10year 120k mile warranty extension on the turbos
