Finally some tutorial covering the actual tubeless tire topic, and not just those horrible filled tires without any air in them.

You don't mention aligning the rotation of the tire/treads with the rim rotation direction and it looks like the tire has rotational indicator (little right-pointing chevrons on tire?, 2:44) as does the disk brake (arrows printed on metal visible at 2:31). At 3:16 you can see both indicators, pointing in opposite directions. I'm not sure, but doesn't this mean it's on backwards? (I don't know...just asking. I know bicycle tires need to be mounted corresponding to direction of rotation)

You're totally right, the tyre is backwards in relation to the disc brake!
How is the front wheel valve mounted? Is there anything special?

I have a Qiewa Q power 2... Yesterday, I swapped the off road tires out on it for street tires.. I was wanting to get the task done or at least started before my tire spoons arrived from Amazon.. I got to thinking.. An idea popped in my head.. If we can zip tie it to put the tires on the rim.. Why can't we do it to take it off the rim without spoons? 🤔. To my surprise, my idea worked.. I had both tires swapped out before the spoons arrived.. While the wheels were on the scooter, I used big channel lock pliers to squeeze the tire, slipped a zip tie under and to the other side and pulled it through and zip tied it while squeezing the tire with the pliers then I did that 4x more times.. Then took the wheel off the scooter, and was able to pull the tire off the rim without any spoons. 😁🔋🛴 I thought I'd share my experience

Trying to replace the tire on a tubeless KAABO MANTIS rim. What a PITA! Foot as leverage doesn't work on mine, the tire will slip out to the sides.
I think I'm going to need 2 people as you suggested.

I just bought a xiaomi 1s. The tires that came with this scooter are better than the previous ones, as the company claims, more durable. Could I use these for tubeless setup with the help of sealant, or should I need a special type of tires, made only for tubeless use?
Could you tell me how to fill up with air I got the tire back on but it won't fill up with air

Cool video, I spent a lot of time searching for this! I have the m365 Pro 2. Can I use the same original tire or I have to buy another? This tire is strongest than the previous models.
I have tried everything, inflating without a valve with an electric pump did not work, with a compressor without a valve. get the tire on the rim but it wont pop into place no matter what i try.
This didn't work for me. I can't get thhe tired filled. DO NOT use green slime, it shoots everywhere. it got EVERYWHERE when tried to fill. im on attempt #45 or something i lost count. these tubless tires for scooters should be illegal.
i'm running OKO xtreme dirt bike tire sealant (€17 for 800ml, pretty cheap), fixed up the 6mm wide slit a large shard of sharp glass caused for now while i wait for replacement tires
tbh tubeless is better, you'll get flats either way, and you don't necessarily need to fill the entire thing with tons of sealant, i had no sealant in mine for 8 months till the glass stuck through the tire at a pretty bad angle (straight on)

look in the cutlery draw, flat end of a fork will be just as effective.

Yes, you can run your tires to lower pressure, also you can have less punctures and I feel a little smoother ride with tubeless. I'm currently running with tubeless on my M365 with the stock tires.
@@Christian-tc4sb What's your experience till now? What pressure do you run? I want to convert to tubeless to. I have upgraded CST tires, hope it will work...
@@KESSZ fine by now, I haven't had any punctures since I changed both tires to tubeless (Considering that most of the roads in Mexico are in bad shape). Also if you add some slime it's going to help sealing a hole in case you get a puncture.
About the pressure; the front tire I have it about 40 PSI and the rear one I have it over 35 PSI, just keep an eye to the pressure not going below 30 PSI otherwise the tire bead may pop off the wheel.
Also be patient while mounting the new tires, because when the tire is brand new it may be a little difficult to seat a tire bead into the wheel and do not forget to buy a pair of tubeless valve stems.
