Thank you as you know even the easy ones are not always easy. Been to Switzerland a few times it’s a beautiful country. Especially if you get to fly over the Alps in daylight.
Thank you Ian . I hope to do a full video on boxes including the computer bit. They do finish a video off nicely. Thanks for watching and commenting, much appreciated 👍
I'm using a product called Weicon Rust Converter (made in Germany) and it's nice for the baseplates: keeps them sort of slatey and shiny and looking good without looking too new. That dark blue you've used on the bus is excellent and hides some of the casting blemishes - a very good plan. The decals are fine and it is a resto after all. Love the polished wheels - so much classier - and you can just see those huge chromey hubcaps on a 'luxury' coach, back in the day! Love the result, even if it is out of my scale set.
Thank you Shawn. When I have a good enough template I will do boxes. I think it’s a nice end to the videos and it does protect them in storage . Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Another beautiful job Andy, you’ve definitely sussed out the decals and the boxes for said models now,has to be my phone perhaps but the commentary stills sounds somewhat crackly to me,nevertheless I still enjoy watching them
Thank you Sid. The start of the video is before I tried to make changes to the sound. The end should be ok. Sometimes there is upto 6 weeks real time between the start and end of filming. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Tony I don’t sell them and you are the first person to ask if I do. I have gifted a few. Two to my dad which were replicas of his old car and one to my best mate, a replica of his old car. Plus one to a local subscriber. Thank you for watching and commenting, very much appreciated 👍
@@tonykennedy6161I don’t think people are that interested in buying restored ones. Collectors seem to want original ones and the better quality ones. I think some restorers do sell them and do commissions, so there probably is a market out there.
Great restoration Andy love it
Thank you very much John. 👍
Great work Andy, you really gave this one a new lease of life. 👍👍👏👏
Yeah it was a bit of a basket case. It’s been on my desk for a year or more before I got around to it. Thanks for watching and commenting Richard 👍

The paint originally looked like a Hippy bus crossed with a barn find. Nice job on the restoration.
Great description of the starting point 😂Thank you👍

@@andysgaragediecastrestorations You're welcome Andy. Making new boxes is pretty cool and more work. Also adds more to them and everything you did.

Really enjoyed that one Andy! Can't beat a nice BOAC livery, do you just restore or do you sell some models too?
