The marvel's avengers game is finally coming to an end with patch 2.8. Marvel's avengers lasted 2.5 years but marvel's avengers shutting down still came as a surprise to very few. Marvel's avengers shutting down 2023 was originally predicted on our podcast by Miller on our podcast, before he got the scoop. Marvel's avengers game shutting down means there will be no more content, so the Captain marvel dlc and Scarlet Witch DLC which were reportedly in development will no longer happen. Marvel's Avengers will Announce Shut down again in September, which is the last official month of support. The marvel's avengers embracer relationship never got off the ground. The Marvel's avengers embracer group rumors gave fans hope that the game will get a second chance with a more favorable publisher than Square Enix but it never worked out. The marvel's avengers crystal dynamics story is one that will be talked about for years to come, as fans continue to wonder what could have been? The Marvel's Avengers Miller Leaks allowed fans to dream about the potential of the game turning things around and fulfilling some of its potential. Getting all the outfits and takedowns. But what is going to happen to the missions you can only do 4 ppl and the gear you can win from it once there won't be online anymore. 😒

I remember being so excited for this game I preordered the $80 bundle & played beta everyday until launch. Rip despite the bugs & Wakanda raid always kicking me on last encounter I enjoyed the time I had on this game. Hopefully someone can revisit this idea & see where this game went wrong & improve on a new game.

Gonna laugh if support for this game skyrockets after this dump, cause people no longer have to spend money and get everything they want for free. But I'm definitely disappointed this even happening I've been pretty strong on this game for years now. The fact it's ending is absolutely heartbreaking.

This game got supported long enough. More than some other games do. Its time to let it rest. Playing too much of the same game isn't healthy for you. Go outside. Go play GTA online or something.

Although having all the cosmetics free is pretty cool, kinda disappointed they won't at least finish adding characters or the story before they stop supporting it ( the new heroes and additions to the story were what was keeping me invested in the game in the first place)

it’s honestly really sad seeing, i was 11 when this game was first announced back in 2017 or whenever it was and i really don’t remember being so excited about a gaming project in a long. sad to see what that excitement went to

It’s to bad. This game has a lot of bugs and came out in a trash state. But I still think it’s pretty fun even with the repetitive missions. The characters are all still fun to play.

I think the final patch sounds nice at least we get some cosemetics e personally i havent played in awhile around the time spiderman came out was the last time I played so im glad we get to experience The game with the cosmetics we want and takedowns and since i havent played in so long i have things to do but its a real shame for the people whove been grinding and buying skins
one thing i'm looking forward to is replaying the story with comic accurate suits.

I hate to be that guy but I’m kinda glad that this is happening. They really messed this game up by making it a “live service.” Two words that will instantly kill any game. What’s worse is that they got rid of the excellent Marvel Heroes online game for this, which had a way larger list of playable heroes. I’m not surprised that this game is ending, I’m surprised that it lasted this long. I do feel for the fans that supported this game with buying the skins and character cards only to have them be given out for free with no refund.
Marvel heroes omega was fun , if they had a patrol mode in the Avengers game like how Omega had it would’ve been cool to mess around in.. sucks that marvel games like those two never get enough support to actually be great. Just want a nice marvel game (that isn’t ultimate alliance and preferably 3D) that I can squad co-op on and not have to worry about all the extra bs (bugs , empty promises and false hope)
@@ZensithRa I don’t know why they just don’t remaster the 90’s beat em ups like The Avengers, X-men, and the extremely hard to find open world Spider-Man arcade game. Those games would print money themselves based on nostalgia alone. Just add online, multiplayer and make it open world and you got a gold mine.
Man, I scrolled a lot to find a comment like this, even thought a lot o people lost their money with this game, things like these are a necessary evil, big companies will always try to make as much money as possible at the expense of the quality of their games, WB for example designed Gotham Knights to be a game exactly like this but gave up on monetization after all the controversy of Marvel's Avengers. Gotham Knights still turned out to be crap, but it was going to be a crap only designed to make money. Let this be a lesson to all other companies, there is a limit on how much a game can be monetized.

I really wanted to see Captain Marvel and the Kree Invasion in full effect before the shutdown, but maybe(a hard maybe) a sequel game will pick that up with a proper flow and roadmap laid out

@@evenhartwick4422 I felt that way about Clint more than Kate. Why did we need him when we've got a teleporting version of him? Jane was definitely a waste of a slot and I don't understand what made them decide to give out two Hawkeyes in a row when pretty much every other character on their release plan was more wanted than either of them.

I’m angry we’ll never get the final story expansion DLC. I never played the online stuff but I really enjoyed the story and DLC story. The final story was supposed to be the last part to the Kree war and introduce captain marvel if I remember right.

All they had to do was make more storylines ( tht could have led to fighting Loki, zemo, hell even spy master, and Ultron) with different enemies to fight ( instead of AIM all the time.), Add some superheroes (like vision, falcon, Ant-Man, Scarlet witch, quicksilver), more maps, PVP ( like a civil war event). They really could have carried this game and I was supporting since A-1, Day 1
Placing this beside anthem on the shelf of failed coop live service games now just gotta make room for kill the justice league

It's crazy to me that they would make all the cosmetics and skins free for all players. I mean I'm stoked cos I never managed to put in the time and money to unlock any, but it seems like a slap in the face for people who paid for skins or spent 100 hours completing those dull sidemissions to get skins.
All of the premium takedowns and skins after March can be gotten free through units.
All takedowns and skins will be unlocked for everyone when the update goes live, no need to spend anything on them
@@SadotTheGamer I have gotten cleared up for that but the vendor stuff will still have to be gotten with units that is where I got mixed up at my bad. One of the moderators on Discord let me know on this.
The worst thing about this game is that it'll probably be a while before we get another avengers game that's actually good.

Marvel omega was one of the only multiplayer games I got super into as it gave me Diablo vibes so I bought all the different expansions at the start to unlock the black suit spiderman and like a month later the servers shut down I was heartbroken! 🥲

They killed avengers all because the higher ups were too greedy and too lazy to fix the problem. They had a huge cash cow sitting right there and now the game will never be what it was supposed to be.
Blame squarenix higher ups those stupid fucks messed up everything.
I'm gonna keep the game installed until the traversal update. I'll play it for a couple days the uninstall around April.
Before the game comes to an end they should give him one last update to the traversal movement, make the Hulk a little faster even and give him about 7/8 meters more height in the jump x 7/8 more length, since It is going to come to an end and they are not going to put more content, unless the gameplay is satisfactory forever
Will the server even be up after September I have no hope from this as soon as embracer bought Crystal dynamics that was a red flag for me hopefully in the future we get a co op style story game like marvel ultimate alliance with avengers 2
The saddest part is that this game was *oozing* potential. It could’ve easily been a great game from the start if they didn’t bombard it with bad decisions. I mean, just look at Guardians of the Galaxy! That game is phenomenal! Well… it is what it is. Let’s just hope future Companies learn from their mistakes and won’t repeat them in their projects. But seeing Suicide Squad, i ain’t having my hopes up…
Originally preordered this game for $60. So glad I never spent any extra on it. Really looking forward to having more than 3 takedowns per character now tho.
Even though i despise what this game turned out to be, i definitely will play once i have EVERYTHING unlocked for free. A huge thing that put me off was the fact that anything cosmetic was hidden behind a paywall or you could get a barely mediocre suit after 2000hrs of playtime. However, yes, i will give it a go once everything is given out for free

Alright so quick question, I just beat MORDOK and watched Monika become the new villain... After that the credits rolled and I was back on the helicarrier as Ironman. On my left side was Kate bishop and Hawkeye and in front of me was nick fury.... I was a bit confused of what was happening so I searched up to see the ending on TH-cam... all the video I came across was from the early life cycle of the game and it was a shield woman talking through a voice call instead of nick fury who was there in person in my case... So I am searching for the most recent and changed ending. If anyone can help out or link a video it would be much appreciated.
They basically ruined the order of the story. After you finish the Taking AIM and Future Imperfect DLC you're supposed to do the Monica Cosmic Cube villain Sector Beating the Odds. The follow up to that cutscene is the Nick Fury one when he appears on the hellicarrier. Then you want the ending to No Rest For the Wicked and the last one is the ending for Cloning Lab
