I find the story about what the dolls are made of hilarious. But at the same time it’s also a great metaphor for REAL human beings and how it doesn’t matter what WE’RE made of either. We’re all human beings. I love that! ❤❤❤
Ohhhhh, a new treat with the Dolls. Thank you so much Gretchen. I honestly don't know how you do all of what you do, but am I ever so happy that you do. Your talents never cease to amaze me. This is getting really exciting as the wedding approaches. 💕🤗
"At the end of the day, we're ALL dolls" and God's children! Thank you Gretchen for yet another uplifting and philosophical turn to "What's happining among the dolls". 🥰
I think that the little gifts were so great. All those lovely trims and tiny bits. Thank you Whitney for your kindness.💕💕💕I truly appreciate your lovely message today 💕💕💕💕Yes love conquers all.💕💕💕you could use the end of the fuses as brass pots for the kitchen .She sent you so many pieces for the dolls beautiful wedding. Oh how lovely it will be. 💕💕💕l💍💒
Congratulations to the new couple and the new lives that are being formed. I look forward to seeing how everything comes together. Thank you for sharing your beautiful gifts, the dolls are just a joy to watch.
Have you been writing this story into a book? It’s such a sweet story and many people would love it as much as we do. The wedding is going to be fantastic! Can’t wait for the celebration!
I love the story time. It's so sweet that Marguerite had come to her senses! I'm really looking forward to the wedding, but I hope you don't stress yourself out with all the preparations! That was a very nice gift box you got there. So many items and so many projects to dream up!
Wowzers! That is so wonderful of Whitney to send you all that treasure! My fingers were just itching to look through it all with you lol. This is going to end up being one very fancy wedding!
I nearly fell out over the men's conversation about being clay, resin, porcelain, 😂 Love this! In the real world, people judge ethnic races, and this is Absolutely A Real issue amongst dolls. 😂❤ Thank you so much for sharing some of your lovely gifted supplies with me!😘🥰💕💕 I love the glass disc's and thought of glass tables as well, the bingo chips are so nostalgic. I wonder what I will make with those! ❤🥰
Your story brought back memories. The dollhouse that I played with as a child had a family made of porcelain. I also had a family of cornhusk dolls. They were the Porcelain’s servants😮It was like a tiny “Upstairs Downstairs.” I’m glad Saadi adores Marguerite just the way she is! He’s a good man doll!
YES!! the Porcelain Dolls were Always the Elite Special Dolls! Cloth, Plastic were not esteemed like a GLASS DOLL/or PORCELAIN Doll! LOLOLOLOLOL!!! I forgot about that show upstairs downstairs! Thank you for the memory! And remembering!!! LOLOLOL!!
What lovely gifts, and what a lovely twist to the story, wedding can't be far off now! Also, resin, clay, porcelain . . . that was too cute and wise, definitely had me chuckling!
Hi, what a wonderful gift, lots of goodies to play with. Your narrative of the boarding house residents is very insightful , so many lesions can be learned if you listen closely. What a great group of friends they are. Thanks again for sharing your dolls and their lives with us. See you in the next video 💕👍
Aww what sweet gifts from Whitney C. I loved seeing her clever minis. I will totally start saving chocolate foil now. Guess I need to get some chocolate. 😂 The little tags! Loved those little brass cups and the fabulous wire. It's so fun to see stashes from others. Oh Gretchen I'm laughing and crying at the same time. "At the end of the day we're all dolls and our Creator that keeps us loved us just the same." 😇 🥲 Gretchen you are made of something very very special. 😘🥰✨
Thank you Dot!! I was definitely grateful for this stash builder items! I just love seeing what other people collect to use for miniatures!! Thank you for your feedback about the dolls! 🤭☺️💖💖💖💖 I'm glad you were able to "feel" what I was saying!
She forgot she had the letter in her pocket all day?! Whew! You are the best storyteller. All the new miniature bits will be in your mind and more creative uses will be thought of. I wonder if the men can use the brass and glass and massive fuses for some motor or new modern invention. My husband's Dad and Uncle in the olden days on their farm were experimenting with electric storage batteries to power the lights and a few slate roof for out buildings ( that roofing idea didn't go well). 😂
What a lovely gift box! The drapery hook reminds me of a wall sconce. I'm so glad Saidi left a note for Marguerite, and that she now feels ready to move forward. Grandma Maisie's interference paid off! 😄🥰
What a lovely, generous and creative box of treasure!!! I know your imagination is running in overtime, Gretchen! For those “volts” - which I’m not familiar with -- if they are hollow and can be cut …I see the cut “cardboard” as an umbrella holder and the copper end could be cooking pot or flower pots. If they can’t be cut, maybe they could be used as “columns in making a fireplace or as posts on a porch. I know we will be seeing many of these supplies made into some fabulous things, Gretchen! Your porcelain, clay and various doll compositions SO reminds me of a well-crafted story we create share with children - as it helps them understand bigger, important lessons in practical, relatable ways! Love that! TFS! ❣️Kathleen
The big cardboard bolts are old "buss" type fuses used in electrical boxes for the main breaker box. They were used in conjunction with the old, round, ceramic and glass screw-in type fuses. They aren't hollow and really shouldn't be opened.
Those are such wonderful gifts from Whitney! So much you can do with them. And as always, I love your storytelling! I’m so glad Margaret’s has come to her senses! I can’t wait for the wedding….
😭😭😭😭 YES! We are ALL made by ONE great Creator and we are all dolls AND everything starts out as dirt and clay. Im glad the wedding is going forward as planned and Margarite has realized just how much she truly loves Saudi. Sometimes theres a need for a bit of distance in order for people to realize and understand how they truly feel about someone. I've heard it said that absence makes the heart grow fonder. And I've also heard the saying that it's good to miss someone sometimes. That, too, can oftentimes provide clarity to feelings and situations. All distance or time apart isn't necessarily a bad thing. The big "bolts" are old buss fuses used in the screw in type fuse boxes in houses. The buss fuses were used for the house "main" breaker and if there was ever any electrical issue or work needing done, the main could be turned off without having to remove all the smaller, round, screw in fuses. They went out of favor awhile ago, though they can still be found in use.
Also!! The big fuses aren't hollow and they shouldn't be opened or punctured in any way. Sometimes corrosion can be seen around the seam where the copper meets the cardboard. If that ever becomes apparent make sure to discard them. Wear gloves and don't touch the corrosive material. It will look like white, powdery baking soda clumped together and there may be some green tint to it from the inside contents coming into contact with the copper. Don't allow children to play with them, don't get them wet, and don't have them near anything electrical like cellphone charger ends, plugs on cords, bare wires, or other metals. They can conduct electricity, so please be extremely careful with them. Maybe see if your son, the electrician, has any other suggestions. ❤
@@solidsnakesimulation666 yes, we know that ❤️ but sometimes it's necessary to put ideas and feelings into a form that everyone can understand and use as a metaphor. The dolls made from various materials could be used as a metaphor for the differences in people and how some people are treated differently because there is something about them that other people may see as a negative and use it as an excuse to be mean, hateful, unkind and unfair in their treatment of said person. Also, the feelings Margarite is having for Saudi being gone and what I wrote concerning absence and appreciation is a metaphor that can be used to show how we as "real" people can take someone's presence for granted and just assume that person is always going to be there and the appreciation for that person can be diminished. ❤️
That was an amazing parcel of great things for a lot of projects. The story is still continuing strong and is going to be a great wedding and babies coming too. Take care and thank you for sharing 👏🙏❤️
