The Eufy app is one of the most solid Chinese apps for home security I've had eufy cameras for quite some time now and the app never disappoints, will be ordering this doorbell soon.
Eric! I didn't even get halfway through your video before i decided to get this doorbell!!! Great, easy-to-follow format.
I really appreciate your insight!
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Thanks for the review Eric!
Thanks for watching!
I have a eufy doorbell since like 2019 and its still kicking strong
Great to hear!
Best review I have seen yet thank you! Bought on before the video was over.
Thank you and happy to help!
I like the fact I can download videos straight to the phone.
Eric. Great review. I am going to get one because of you. Thank you
I am going to order one E340 now. Thanks Eric!
Happy to help!
Funny you post this..I just recently bought a eufy doorbell at Best Buy
Thanks for watching!
Solid review..video quality looks great
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for your review. It was very informative. I’m looking for my first video doorbell and have been doing tons of research. (My head hurts lol) I’m this close to getting the Eufy. 😅 The Reolink seems like a good choice as well. (24/7 recording) I just don’t like can’t see packages and have to have the SIM card in the doorbell, not inside the house, where it’s safe. Anywho, good review, thanks for that. 😊
Definitely a tiring process when shopping in a category with too many options. If you have any questions just let me know!
Bottom camera is an awesome upgrade
Definitely!
Worth upgrading from the t8200?
Really great review since we are in the market of a new eufy camera. I like the idea of two power systems and ability to see the porch for packages. My questions are
1. Which homebase system are you using to connect your eufy devices?
2. If you use the existing doorbell wiring, does it use the existing doorbell noise?
Thank you.
1. I havent tied it into any systems yet. Me and my wife just use the app and thats been more than good enough for us. We use google home but Ive yet to test how well it syncs with that.
2. Yes, since this has a battery in it, it allows you to use your existing doorbell chime. You just need to enable it in the settings.
That "security" anti-theft mechanism looks easy to defeat. Can you set anti-theft in the app like the s330 cameras?
I understand you can pair this with the Hombase S380. Did you get the opportunity to test the home base?
Are you by any chance getting the E330 lock? I'm really close to buying it but wasn't sure if it was reliable or if it was gonna be buggy and have me trapped outside my house at times. I still use stardard regular locks but I've been wanting to make the jump to digital. With the different unlock options these have now, I'm real close.. but as I said..just not sure if it'll end up as another headache instead of helping.
Great review by the way!
Thank you! The E330 looks interesting but unfortunately I have not had the chance to test it yet. Overall Eufy products have been pretty reliable but I cant really speak for that one.
Can i connect the Eufy Chime to this inside - as if stand alone can you hear the doorbell inside?
Good video
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Hey, the review was amazing but i still have doubts on what to settle with, because i want a doorbell that works well with home assistant and is battery powered. Looked at the Aqara G4 which seems solid but does not have support for home assistant.
Thanks for watching! Unfortunately I don't use HomeKit so I cant really comment on that aspect
Eric, Using the app and notifications, how many users in the household ( different phone) can monitor and be notified?
That part I'm not entirely sure of. I currently have it shared with my wife and kids, so 4 total. I'm sure there has to be a limit, but I'd assume it's higher than most people would need.
I don't recall a segment detailing the addition of users. Is there an episode?

@@randypoirier2664 I didn't cover that in video. Basically each user needs their own Eufy account and in the doorbell settings, theres a QR code each user can scan so they get access to the camera feed and notifications.
Looks like its on sale right now too
Best time to pick one up!
I just recently purchased the S340 version and have not set it up yet but was contemplating returning it after reading issues that were posted on Eufy's app feedback review. People are complaining about the same problem with connecting to the device from the app, losing connections, no capturing events or ongoing notifications and dead after year of use or less. Has anyone experienced this? Most complaint is the app is more buggy after each update and getting support from the vendor is either non-existent or they are not helpful at after getting someone to respond... I'm trying to convince myself to keep it and give it chance but reality has hit many customers. Anyone experience any of these recently or more? what did you do to resolve it?
I cant speak for other people, but I have several eufy cameras including their doorbell and video smart lock. I have not had any issues whatsoever with their app and it works for me every single time and does whatever I tell it to.
Perhaps the issues people are having are related to their phone or internet / router? I'm not entirely sure, but no one in my house has had any issues.
Is there any delay on the live video conversation? TIA
Slightly. About 1-1.5 seconds.
Any idea how long the battery last in winter?
I barely got it so it's hard to say. I'm guessing likely 2-3months depending on the Temps
Can this be added to an existing chime or should I purchase a separate one?
I have two eufy chime from my old eufy doorbell and right now they are not working. I think i’ll have to buy the chime with the usb adapter that connects with my homebase 3.
What is the purpose of the light on a doorbell?
It adds light to the area and floor so you can see better. It only points up and down so as someone in front of the Doorbell, It doesn't shine in your face or anything
Does this doorbell (wired) support 24/7?
Unfortunately this one does not
Can this be connected to a solar panel?
I don't think it can unless you rig something up.
Is this wifi only or can it be used via cellar?
This one is wifi only.
I was referring to the tablet??
Yes, any IOS or Android tablet as long as its not too old and can run the Eufy app
Does it include the chime or how does that work?
No chime included so you would need to purchase that seperate.
You can also connect it to Alexa or Google though
Anker was such a small company before..now a pretty huge company in tech
Definitely grew pretty big over the years. I remember when all they did was power banks and cables
I thought everyone preferred the Reolink?
Reolink is good but they dont have any dual camera doorbells yet. Till then, I'd say eufy is a lot better
What tablet is compatible with it??
Are you referring to the app? If so, it'll work on any android or iOS device
I was referring it to the tablet. So you meant that it will work on any iOS or Android tablet??
Correct
Quality looks good but I feel like these would be hacked
That could easily be said for any wifi device in your house. While it's certainly possible..I'm not sure what one would achieve by hacking your Doorbell which only views outside
Nothing but problems with ring..ill stick to a regular doorbell
Never used ring but this one hasn't gave me any issues
Dont u need homebase 3 for familiar faces
I dont trust these..too many connection problems
Sounds like you may have a wifi issue. I use several wireless cameras all at once and don't have any connection issues
Eufy sucks big time..never again
What issues have you had? I've owned many anker and eufy products over the years and they've been great
