      @eufysecuritycameraowners4795 Well seeing in the heading I said VIDEO DOORBELL, in your link it's only showing 1, so if 1 is alot then yea, but there are 2 video doorbells named S330 Battery and Wired and in item description for each it doesn't say if they are compatible but they sell one bundled with HB3, so you would think all S330 doorbells are compatible, since they have same name,

    Have been using the wired 2K for a while now, started fine but lately, without any change in network etc., it started acting up.
    No connectivity when trying to remotely view the camera after a doorbell press and als ghost pressing, doorbell goes off without anybody in the neighbourhood. (Have another cam outside to confirm no kids ffing around)
    Eufy has been keeping me busy with their standard check this and that protocol on multiple occasions as, nothing helps.
    They now say I do not qualify for warranty because the purchase occurred more than 1 year ago.
    So be aware if you are in the EU, Eufy does not want to provide the mandated 2 year consumer warranty. They simply ignore that.

    I replaced my Nest doorbell with this Eufy doorbell two days ago. I loved everything about it except the lack of blue LED halo light around the doorbell button that illuminates when motion has been detected. It's quite challenging to locate the button mostly during the night even when the top and bottom LED lights are illuminated. It makes people press the camera by mistake instead of the correct button. The blue LED halo light around the button of the Nest doorbell I replaced with this doorbell automatically illuminates when a motion was detected. I know the light existed because it works during setup but may not be intended to work with motion detection or when someone presses the button. I wonder if you have figured out if there are mysterious setting(s) to solve this.

    One of the disappointment of the e340 is that it only supports Wifi 2.4gig, eufy Security S350 Indoor Camera supports both and the steaming quality is amazing on the Wifi 5 band. This is clearly evident with the current ring doorbell that I have that is on the 5ghz channel. Everyone knows 2.4 is an outdated band. Everything else about the doorbell is awesome though, but the show stopper for me is the requirement of 2.4ghz.

      @@tajjson agree. Most people are even connecting their ISP routers not knowing the disadvantages of not setting a proper home network and complaining of slowness. Hi Paul,
    Nice review of the 340 door bell compared to the 330 door bell, I'm thinking of upgrading from the single cam 2k doorbell, as i want the door step view, and I noticed you didn't say anything about the radar detection on the 330, when comparing the detection, especially as the 330 is your existing door bell, and the radar detection direction strength can be adjusted in the app, so personaly I would have thought the 330 would have better detection or is the radar detection used for something different ??

      @@samh8560 I returned it before the Dec 2023 update to enable pre-roll to know for certain, but upon searching reports are that you do need to hardwire it to enable that feature. I haven't seen anyone review test how well it works tho. The extra battery is definitely one of its strengths over the non removable units as you can just swap it out to charge it & keep the doorbell in use. That's just aswell since the LED lights will drain it much faster if they're used often. Yes from experience the S330 doorbell has better mic pick up than what i experienced with the S340 which sounded muffled due too much background noise suppression. But whether that has since improved with updates i don't know.

      Yeah, specifically the wired dual camera is not homebase compatible, for whatever reason - so it only keeps the recordings on the micro SD card in the device. Weird choice by eufy

      @eufysecuritycameraowners4795  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hard to say at the moment as the E340 has only been up a month and not fully discharged yet (its about 75%) - I used to get 2-3 months out of the S330. As for recharging, the E340 is easier due to the removable battery. Having a 2nd battery to replace means no down time unlike the S330

      So you get about 3 months battery life on E340? Is that with the leds on top and bottom on at night ?
      And how many detections on average per day?
      What do you think about the sharpness in daylight and when its dark.
      Looks like the older S330 model has better video quality, looks more sharp and bright.

    hi thanks for this - how secure is the physical doorbell - my front door is on a lane with no front garden so worried about it being removed by the local scallys

    • @eufysecuritycameraowners4795
      @eufysecuritycameraowners4795  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It could potentially be forced off - some owners have used a metal strap screwed over the doorbell to make it more difficult. Amazon sell metal cases which the doorbell would sit inside which would give more protection against theft
