Kind of tickles my funny bone when I think how many times you said in our Horizon 1 year review video, "We love our Sol Horizon." And then BAM! It's gone. So much for "love," lol.
Just found you-you two are so fun to watch! Hilarious. And glad I found this-my husband and I are looking at small trailers, but we have two big dogs that we’ve never camped with before (Weve camped with my greyhound girl, but our borzoi boy is new to our family and is 100lbs and likes to sprawl). I think I’m underestimating how much space they’ll take up. Loved the real-life look at camping in a small trailer with the pups. Love your fur babies. More videos please :)
Great new rig, congratulations! Solar is sure the way to go here in Arizona. What size inverter did you use? Amazing that it powers the entire electrical system. You turn the fridge to gas when you’re boondocking, right?
Had you ever seen in person the Intech Terra? Obviously you already purchased but I'm curious if seeing the Terra would have had a chance? Seen a lot of videos on the Terra and the NuCamp Avia and considering between the two similarly priced. Or if I come into $$$$ an Airstream. Congrats on your new camper. A co-worker did get a GD and was hoping to get a look at it
Grand design does not have a reputation for quality...not sure where that comes from. Their quality is just as poor as Forest River, Winnebago and many other volume manufacturers
@@sputter_RVrs awesome. I see the 17MKE is inverter “ready” so I look forward to your video. One question for now though...do all the plugs work or just specific ones and is the TV one of them? Thanks in advance and we enjoy watching you guys.
@@timscott70 The guy we had install this did a great job...everything works off of the 1 Lithium battery! With the exception of the AC. All outlets and TV work.
That's really a tough one. The quality of the Sol's materials are better, the quality of build is about the same. The additional room with the Imagine, sold it for us. considering only adding 2 feet to the length.
Great video ! We are considering buying a Intech Sol Dawn Rover or a 17MKE like yours. We will tow with a 2021 Subaru Ascent that has a 5000 lb trailer and a 500 lb tongue weight rating. What is your opinion about the ability to tow the 17 MKE ? It is pushing the limits of the Subaru. Thanks ! Loved your videos on the Sol Horizon. The sleeping and climbing over each other ruled it out. We are in our 70's and it will be just the two of us and our small dog.
I can't "Imagine" (pun intended) going from a super quality built RV to a mass produced, laminated floor, way exaggerated R factor claim in the roof, aluminum framed.........sparsely used, cheapest components possible from a RV just before you claimed you loved so much. If you went to a Lance, Airstream, ORV it would be understandable but I'm afraid you bought for some extra room and glitz

Oh my gosh! Stumbled on your channel. Love this!!
Glad you guys found something that works better for you!
How do you get internet everywhere you go? We are thinking on travel but always wondered about the internet connection problem.❓❔❓❔
Nice video - hope you're enjoying your new RV. Can you share what RV park that was near the end of the video? I'll look forward to your next video!!
Sure! Picahco Peak state park. AZ

Rick, Thanks.. 1500 watt inverter. Yes, fridge on gas for boon docking and travel. See you on the road!

Awesome looking new rig! I've admired the Grand Designs myself, and they have a great reputation for quality and reliability. Safe travels!

The wife and I just ordered a 2021 Sol Horizon due in July. We think they're really neat. Hopefully it'll work for us. Good luck in your new Imagine
We are certain you will Love it! Our dogs just consumed to much space.
You guys should STOP interrupting one another. It's annoying
Why did you change to the Imagine?
Hey! We bought an Rpod 195 instead of a Sol and all the same boxes are ticked on ours. Sold our old trailer in a week.
Will you be doing a video on the solar and inverter set-up and cost? I’m looking at this RV and that’s something I’d like to do.
Yes, we will. After we finish our trip:)

Can the Murphy bed come down without putting slide out? Can your sofa pull out to a bed? Just found your channel and subscribed.
Hello, do you all like your imagine more than your horizon ? Quality difference?

We loved the Horizon for a lot of reasons...but the MKE, after all the research is great for us with the dogs!!!

I have to tell you I am soooooo sick of listening to couples who talk over each other. you cannot learn anything .
uhh...don't watch
