Reflective thermal bubble wrap insulation is extremely lightweight, energy efficient preventing thermal & moisture transfer and will not sag. I do recommend they use reflective thermal vinyl tape at all of the seams of the thermal bubble wrap so there is no air gaps for thermal and moisture transfer.

One may consider removing all remaining fibers, slivers, smooth down, wet wipe and dry in all of the cutouts BEFORE installation of windows, a/c, vents etc which will prevent future water and air leaks. Another manufacturer found this out the hard way for not doing so in my RV as they had to remove all windows, vents, a/c etc, clean the debris, reinstall and reseal everything.
We love our SOL Horizon!! Can’t wait for Intech to replace the A/C blower motor so we can use the camper. Bought brand new in April and the blower motor screams like a banshee and motor is hotter than donut grease to the touch. Hoping to hear something soon so we can get out there!!
Wouldn’t it be awesome if they filled those aluminum frame pieces with insulation and also insulated between the walls? Thermal windows? They’d really have something. Maybe replace the plywood floor with transcore to save some weight. 👍
We have recently found Intech and are interested but I now have a concern watching this video. This concern has also been brought up by one of your owners in their videos of things they like and dislike about their Intech Sol Horizon...I believe that's the model. It appears to have no insulation in the walls or ceiling. This couple commented that in above freezing weather and while laying in bed, the walls inside the unit were very cold to the touch. Do you have a remedy for this yet?
they said in another video that its a 3 season camper, and they leave an air gap, an air gap does give it “some insulation”. apparently but I am not sure why? Its like in the double hull fiberglass RV trailers, they do the same thing.
Wood floor no good, should redesign new aluminum floor or composite floor.walls should be fiberglass honeycomb,,,no wood floor and no wood walls. The structural is good but the roof, walls and floor are not quality products…should be no woods at all in the intech rv industry.
I own a sol horizon unit and im in this video great unit and a great place to work
Best quality of camper that I have ever seen! We have a Sol Horizon with a Rover package and it is awesome. ❤
Thanks for using a 80's Dokken themed backing track! Makes like this company even more..😎

Currently sitting in my 2022 Sol Horizon Rover on a crisp Smokey Mountain morning. Good job folks at Intech!
Hi. Is there insulation between / in the walls?
Yes!
Looks like a thin layer of insulation next to the inside wall and that’s it. That could be improved upon with a simple layer of foam. Intech?

good job! I like my sol horizon, well made trailer, nice to see step by step

This only makes me more secure with my camper. Just wish the solar package was on mine when I got it!! It is a costly add on now.

Actually, in as warm as 50 degree weather, the walls are uncomfortably cold when trying to sleep!
Thank you.
