Tate Eboshi's soul core gives a bonus of boosting attack when you absorb amrita, I forget the second inherent bonus. I will say that her yokai ability is actually REALLY good for both crowd control AND ki damage. In fact, I use her as an alternative to Gozuki for finishing off enemy maximum ki bars after I chip away their purple bar to nothing. If you're wondering, she swings her scythe around in a wide circle twice before slamming down on an enemy in front with a spirit stone explosion where it hits.

Yes, you need to beat the "eye of the beholder" mission on dotw difficulty to unlock dream of the Nioh difficulty and underworld. You'll want to because getting Ethereal gear on dotn yields an extra set bonus, some of them look pretty strong too.
Just want to point out when you are talking about the C+ rating on the Anima Bonus (Saturated Enemy), it's only that low because the core hasn't been upgraded. The higher the soul core rank, the better the effect, and that goes for all soul core effects. Also, every weapon got 2 new skills, not just the ones you mentioned. Not only that, but they are not hidden skills, they were simply added to the tree. They are all really nice and really round out the movesets of every weapon. My favorite is the new Kusarigama ones. One has you basically become a spinning top when you hit an enemy, and the other essentially functions like Backwave (the L1 Sword Parry). There are also hidden Shiftling skills that drop from the first boss of the DLC.
Hey man, thanks for the hard work as always. Just an fyi: unrelenting grasp was in the 1st dlc, and underworld soldier was in the 2nd. DotN adds a new "tier " of ethereal graces so to speak. So far I have Izanami, Izanagi, Niniki? (I think), Takeminekata, and Okininushi. Message me and I can give u the bonuses if you want to put them out there, but it's really probably better to just enjoy discovery. There's new star effects as well: melee and active skill ki damage at a higher rate, also stars for the same on weapons. Ki recovery unscathed, melee damage critical, auto life recovery amrita absorption, just to name a few. But the best 2 things by far: 1st, there are now + versions of regular sets. Adding another bonus to the set, but you have to have all pieces, and all as "plus" pieces. For instance, imperial ward + adds 20% vs corrupted, benkei adds mystic dyad all, you get the idea. Which means you don't have to throw away your non grace sets. But the best addition to the game is in the underworld. All of nioh 1 bosses will appear as a boss in there. So every boss, from both games, will be a possible opponent. I'm in love with the new content for real. And every one of the new skills from 1.20 are great, some are utility, some are parry, some are just flashy. But to get the most out of most of them, you have to be more of a skill based player, rather than purely build based... not throwing shade, just saying, people that say the new skills suck, just haven't learned how to use them yet. Everything is going to be awesome for the rest of our playthrough bro, cheers!

What's the logic behind what guardian spirits get more or less attunement slots? If the idea is that the the ones with stronger bonuses have less attunement slots, they fucked that up, so I'm not really sure why every spirit doesn't just have the same amount. It would make more sense and make switching spirits easier.
I think we already have a great variety of weapons, probably better than any other game honestly. They should just add awesome new attacks to all the existing weapons instead. If they did add a new weapon, i wouldn't mind a greatsword so i could pretend to be guts from berserk.

It’s a boss skill you can get if you beat Minomoto Yoshitsune (I think that’s her name) girl from first level in Darkness in the Capital DLC. There are some TH-cam videos showing you all the boss skills if you are curious.
Gozuki got totally railed.... He does only around 20% of the ki damage he used to do. Still a decent core, but there'll probably be better options out there now.
I don't get it, a lot of ''fans'' we're expecting a new weapon with no doubt in their mind...... even though Nioh 1 first 2 DLC's came with weapons the 3rd did not, like how was everyone ignoring that and then be disappointed and complain about it everywhere it just makes you look stupid really (Not you as in you the uploader but the people that ignored something pretty darn obvious and most likely scenario) I see soooo many people complain XD and I'm like wait what? you we're expecting another one O.o? another weapon would have been a pleasant surprise, but exactly that a ''surprise'', most people that played 1 knew there would most likely be no new weapon dlc 3
This last DLC is terrible, the 2nd main level is a fucking disaster, finding fucking keys.... It had me running around for 4 hours, made me quit the game. Fuck this last dlc bullshit level design!

You're also able to get the Suzaku spirit from Nioh 1 in the new dlc from a side mission if you need to do that still.

Tate Eboshi’s soul core is my go-to... main stat is “increased attack on Amrita absorption.” You basically have increased attack on permanently.
It's weak though, about the same as post nerf Tengen.
