- Decided to test my fuel efficiency and merge with a SU-27 with 400lbs of gas... Was inpatient and badly missed two fox2's but think I redeemed my self pretty well.

wow, that was an ... aggressive landing!
Yeah, I enjoyed that! No fuel to make power corrections and was very low at high key, so had to make a very tight SFO pattern to maintain my energy. Was happy with the touch down, even with a slight cross wind ;) Thanks for watching!
that was really satisfying to watch!
Thanks man! Let me know what you want to see next!
@@Willdass would be cool to see a video on evading fox 2’s and 3’s
@@bartdevalk Cool, will see what I can do after the Holidays, away from my computer the next weeks.
What a fight! Bro, quick question for you: your thumbnail features your skin on the 16... looks sick, what skin is that so I can snag!
Thanks man! It's the ANG Swamp Fox skin, it is one of my favourites!! You can download it here: www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3315008/
Hey man, cool vid!
2 questions.
How is the 5800x3D for DCS? I have a 5600x and was wondering if it worth the upgrade. Mine working pretty good, but idk if the 3d cache could help with DCS 1% FPS and overall stability
Another question, what about the Simshaker jetpad? I found it some time ago but couldn't find much info in TH-cam or reviews about it. Do you think it's worth for nom VR?
Thanks man, appreciate it!
For the X3D, especially for VR it is a huge upgrade! And I came from a 5800x. Increased my frames a good bit and improved 1% lows.
Regarding the Simshaker, it is very nice in VR. It takes a while to get the settings to be optimal and the connection is poor and it often disconnects. But definitely improves immersion. I dont fly non VR so can’t really comment to that, but it helps managing your G and AOA in dogfights.
what vr headset did you use in this.
Varjo Aero. But most of my videos are using the G2, setup details are in the description for each video. Thanks for watching!
@@Willdass Thanks for letting me know. Planned on buying the G2 soon.
@@SPOJerry Nice! VR is the best way to experience DCS imo. G2 is a really good headset! As long as you take some time to tune the setting and use OpenXR. Recommend checking out the DCS forums I you haven't already :)
