It's no longer a paxton car, I recently went Twin 67/66 turbo , but I went with a really large PTC converter, and added 100 nitrous on top of 3.33 pully, and went 8.69 @158 mph
@derosam69 I literally made my first pass this weekend, and went 5.8 at 123mph, 1/8 on like 13psi, but managed a trap speed before the end of the night at 127mph, track just wasn't there, prep wasn't good

Hey how did you delete clutch starter switch, or do you still need it to start car with th400. Tell me exactly what you did cause i am getting th400 in my 11 5.0 and dumping stick. My th400 will be full manual reverse pattern sequential like yours. Also, how did you make Speedometer work with th400.?
Not sure about the gen 1 speedo, mine works off the body controll module on the gen 2, and I have a push button to press that's wired into my bottom cluch safety switch !!

I have an 800wheel vmp gen3r built boss motor 11 5.0 with tr6060 conversion, but i am sick of stick. Going th400 soon. Car has 373 gears and will be daily driver with th400. Going 3500 stall. Only 79mm pulley on e85 at moment. My car should be easily driveable on fwy with 373 gears. Gonna smoke everything. My tranny guy said dont go over 3500 stall if street car daily driver. Did u have to shorten driveshaft. Did you go with jpc conversion kit. I will need new mount and crossmember.
@@maximusvonce1381 mounted it right in front of the radiator, in front of fan, but after I deleted the Charcoal canister under the spare tire hump, im gonna get another trans cooler kit, and relocate it to there with its own fan
@@maseratilife1316 should actually be really good, I think yolo from lund is 160's on his GT500 with 3.73 and th400, I only run track now with car, I just orderd a carbon hood and MMR drag wing for s550, im pulling AC off, and im doing more weight reduction as well, before I make any changes, I was 3460 lbs with cage and chute, and all the blower and stuff, but im going all out race now, and adding 100 nitrous as well

@@maniacS550 I understand. A buddy of mine built a 1400rwhp Coyote dropped into a foxbody Mustang and I believe he ran a powerglide. Seems unintuitive for a modern car, but he was running some serious times with a full interior car with A/C and he drove the car around town as well as to/from the track.
@@maniacS550 I’m pretty much the same. My car has a Calimer stage 3 but I will eventually probably end up with a TH400. The only time I drive the car anymore is to and from the track. I have three other vehicles that are more comfortable daily driving.

My transmission guy said not to downshift these th400 at high speed. It can take out the 2nd gear sprag.

Purpose of the converter is to quickly get into RPMs
