It blows my mind how far GPU tech has come. I remember building PCs way back in the day when GPU memory was measured in kilobytes and the cutting edge feature was anti-aliasing and anything over 60 FPS was considered alien technology. I'm getting old.
@Juri V 3060Ti is the best performance to money ratio out of basically any gpu. 3070 aint worth it, according to userbenchmark its only 7% more effective costing 200€ more than 3060ti where im from.

I got so caught up in you going for the win in Apex that i had to go back and watch again to actually pay attention to the frames. I used a different version of the 3060 ti a couple of months ago. I was going to use it as my main rig card, I enjoyed it quite a bit. I had a problem with big freezes/stutters in Apex Legends though. I think it was due to thermal throttling but I never really figured it out, it was only with Apex Legends. Thats my favorite game to play though so it ended up causing me to go with my 6700xt Red Devil in my main rig which is very comparable and much quieter/cooler. Also has 4gb more GDDR6, can't complain there.
Did the GPU swap fix the stuttering? I noticed stutters in Apex when I installed the game on a HDD, installing it on the SSD completely fixed it :) There's also the sun shadow detail option that if you set it to max it makes the game stutter quite a bit, that's why I leave it on high every time.

I'm still not sure exactly , my best ideas were thermal throttling, or that it has something to do with it being a LHR version, or that the motherboard I'm using is only pci:3.0. The sun spot detail setting I definitely learned about being broken from your videos, thank you man. I've tried it on SSD and on an M2 with with the same results. I thought maybe it was from using two different speeds of ram in quad channel but even with two matching 16gb sticks, the same results. I have a video of it happening, it almost looks like server lag or latency but but I never get a lag or latency or connection problem icon.
is it possible it was from my Ryzen CPU fluctuating right around an incremental throttle point/temperature? When a Ryzen CPU hits say, 60 degrees Celsius, does it begin adjusting its power consumption? I was using a Ryzen 7 5600x, often times it seemed that if it was at 60 degrees, it was would start doing the weird stutters, then it would hover around 60 degrees going back and forth to 60 and just below 60, 58, 59. If I suddenly removed the little window panel on the front to ventilate more heat and get it back down to 55ish, it seemed to stop. It was really kind of bothering me and still slightly does since I never actually figured it out. I also tried it in 3 different configurations with 3 different PC's entirely, same results. They were all PCI:E 3.0, all running Ryzen CPU's.

I already have a founders 3060 ti but love your vids so I just had to see the review! I play at 1080p because it's hard to notice the difference between that and 1440p (plus a bit of extra performance from it running at a lower resolution is nice)

@@askeladd448 I bought a prebuilt with the 3060ti so i don't know the price of the card by itself...but. it has a Ryzen 7 3700x, 1TB NVME and 16 GB of ram. I paid $1750 US for it in April of this year.
For what I can say this GPU is a really good one and I'd buy it if I hadn't had my 2070FE for like 350$ back in a day (right before the mining outbreak), so there's no actual need in 3000 series for me now. And if 2070 is more like for 1080p-1440p gaming on Ultra, 3060 has a bit more capability to switch to 4k more often without below 30fps drops, even staying somewhere in between 40-50 at times. Keep up the good job m8!

Performs pretty damn good for a 60Ti. It's a shame the prices are so poor. It's also a shame MW19 doesn't have afterburner support anymore, or not at the moment anyway, and is full of performance bugs still
I think the 3060 Ti is an amazing GPU for playing at 1440p I was lucky enough to get the ASUS TUF for around $500 which is not far from MSRP I can even play some games like days gone, psychonauts 2 and crash bandicoot 4 at 4k 60 fps at High settings so yeah great GPU.

Your 2070is faster than the normal 3060 btw and like 2% faster than my 2060 super so you definitely should stick to the 2070 for now

I think the 3060 Ti is an amazing GPU for playing at 1440p I was lucky enough to get the ASUS TUF for around $500 which is not far from MSRP I can even play some games like days gone, psychonauts 2 and crash bandicoot 4 at 4k 60 fps at High settings so yeah great GPU.
