Pubg PC tried its best to stay original and realistic but it went irrelevant and now nobody talks about it. The same would have happened if Pubg mobile stayed realistic.
Pubg went greedy for cash & brought many unwanted events making it very unrealistic. From being a post-apocalyptic game to being the 21st century type of game.
Alan walker, Blackpink, and Resident evil collabs are some of my favorite memories when I played this game. Now, pubgm doesn't feel that much special anymore. Almost everything is about money
I've been playing pubg mobile ever since 2018, and I have to admit, this entire video is nothing but the thruth, thank you for putting your time and effort into this.
Over 90% of the players play either only event mode or livik. Even if you found a match on regular maps it's all full of overpowered bots. Especially Erangel
cmon its not that deep just get your tier on crown because now days people get over the low tier very easily thats why at lower tiers its only bots so yeah@@ManzoorKhn212
@@heyyniggaiamawhiteman8509I deleted it because of bots. I can not spend weeks playing the most boring matches just to reach crown.I play the game for fun and bots is really boring. of which there only like 3 maps with people
I dont know if you remember or not but back in Season 1 having that purple puffer jacket with purple skirt or that pure black trench coats used to be considered goat drip back in 2018. Good old days when when nobody knew what to do and just enjoyed that co-op/solo experience, laying down making close to zero sounds to mimic a snake, enjoying the stillness and out of a sudden it was chaos all of a sudden. Back when just letting yourself live in that moment was something else. I hope everyone is doing well.
I used to play pubg mobile because of the real war like simulation it offered, they could have offered military styled items, but instead they chose to make this game too cartoonish. It killed the vibe and I haven't even thought of playing it again for atleast 3 years
There was a time when Playing Pubg was refreshing and amazing but now when ever i see Pubg in someone's phone i just dont feel like to talk with that person
@anonymous-tu9ou nah it was s16. I believe s15 had the mad miramar event which was pretty great but after that season the game started to feel a bit boring
I still remember those days when the only thing I used to press after booting up was "start" Now after booting the game, I'm bombarded by collabration ads, rewards this and that and what not.
I left the game in 2021 when me and my friends failed to make into pmpl, but tbh had the game stayed the same (not adding skins or accessories) then the players would’ve complained about the game being the same and u would’ve probably also made a video about how the game hasn’t changed a bit for too long. At least the game is not p2w, those skins only contribute psychological damage since u automatically assume everyone with an expensive skin is a good player. And this is the nature of humans, they like something but u loose interest as u start aging. I only watch the esports bcuz that’s the only thing i like about this game. Great video as always
been playing since the chinese before the release in 2018, I had so much fun from waking up at 7am to play the game till 10pm at the evening. after reaching conqueror I havent really gotten any motivation but just play for fun. Dont get me wrong it is still fun especially with friends, I still play pubg mobile today but there is a huge contrast on how you play the game back then to now. This game has a special place in my heart.
Newstate died because of these issues: • Technical issues • Wynsanity • Community Upon release, Newstate Mobile (NSM) was plagued with bugs and performance issues that literally cooked phones and caused the game to frequently crash... like on the PC version. And just its desktop counterpart, Krafton *NEVER* bothered to fix these issues. This dismissive attitude reflected their choice of Ambassador, Wynsanity, who only made things much, *MUCH* worse. The guy is responsible for getting many minors addicted into gambling by promoting in-game products rather than gameplay and gameplay-related topics. You can tell he's in just for the money because if you compare him to a desktop game CC like WackyJacky (from PUBG), their content is *VASTLY* different. Wynsanity treated NSM like PUBGM, like how a dismissive and irresponsible person would. Ignore issues and promote unhealthy values towards their viewers. If you raised a topic about the game's issues, he would just said "It's not my job..." even though he's paid by Krafton and makes content for the game (coming from personal experience) and is the loudest megaphone for raising awareness about the game's state. This attitude bleeded into the community, especially in the DC, who are closest to the devs. The lack of care, attention, and fixiation of monetization is what killed NSM. And this all started with Krafton and Wynsanity, which spawned a community who reflected the two's dismissive and irresponsible values. After this, Wynsanity would then go to contribute in the downfall of another large title, *"Warzone Mobile,"* along with similar CCs. He, along with Ducky and Bobby would spread misinformation about WZM's state amidst the backlash received due to the game's unoptimized condition. These people would post a tampered video of WZM apparently running at 120fps on its highest graphics settings, which would soon be debunked for using frame interpolation and motion blur. Wynsanity would then personally attack the community, posting an image about how mobile games would look like Knives Out (a horrid looking mobile BR game) if they kept catering to low-end devices, ignoring the fact that PUBG mobile runs perfectly fine on said devices, and the far more superior Timi-version of PUBGM would also run fine on modern budget hardware. There's also CODM. He even told a person to "Go buy an iPad." as if an iPad was cheap. Guy was high up his own ass. The issue got so out of hand, that some time after release, WZM's biggest and greediest partner, apparently broke his iPad and went back to CODM due to the abysmal state of WZM. And you know what's even worse? These CCs would claim that *THEY* were the reason behind PUBGM and CODM's success, ignoring the fact that they're a generational game. They would say that if they don't get those views, it won't succeed. Guess what? PUBGM was already as success before they got their hands on it cuz it was a NEW and exciting game that was well executed. They just rode on its success. That tells a lot about these people's personalities. I don't even know what thoughts went through the devs' minds to choose destructive people like them. Maybe it's because they have a lot in comon? Greedy, Irresponsible, and is seriously lacking in skill to complete the task at hand? I don't know, but it wouldn't really take much effort to go into their channel and look at the type of content they post and talk amongst their peers whether their content best represents the game they want to put out and portray as. TDLR: Devs, CCs, and groomed communities, basically killed NSM and after that, WZM.
underrated aspect of this scandal is that even CODM, and BGMI (india only pubgm port), are also becoming increasingly difficult to run due to the extremely large, unoptimized updates. For t3 scrims, even a mid-range mobile phone, (eg: snapdragon 865, 7 gen 1) would've been enough before the games started receving these updates
I had a low end phone when I first played Pubg mobile and it only allowed 30 fps while new state allowed up to 60fps. I never got any of the bugs or had bad experiences.
I have a lot of good memories of playing PUBG Mobile with friends and look back now it was a near perfect game at some point in the past but now it has become something that I cannot play or go back to, it was fun while it last. Thank you for making this video no other big PUBG TH-camrs are willing to even bring up what PUBG Mobile and PC have become. Consider me subbed
Optimization issues. And New State had a lot of weapon mods that are goofy. 1 Shotgun had Dragonbreath rounds, and M24 and Mk47 had tracker rounds that gives semi-xray
I've recently picked up PUBG mobile again after 3 years break. Yes I got overwhelmed by the amounts of stuff you can do in this game, and skins and cosmetics. (They got housing system now, WTF) But playing classic mode (non-event server) still gives me that original feeling when I played this game on launch. Sure there is new weapons, items, vehicles. But the fundamental never changed and I love that. And don't get me wrong, I also love the events. They're simply unique and fun. My favorite was resident evil collab where you have to fight and survives hordes of zombies for a whole night.
yes bro pubg is still a lot of fun. i dont think so that there is anything wrong in adding news weapons or skins or home because thats how the things works, they have to keep adding things to keep the game interesting. also if such a great game is free to play, not showing any ads, not asking for money, not pay-to-win like free fire then, just selling in game stuff to earn money so what is wrong in this. why people gave pubg hate because they are selling skins and costumes too much. atleast they are not forcing anyone, its players own choice to buy them or not it will not affect their gameplay. the other factor is obviously nostalgia. people will always love old pubg and hate current pubg because old pubg always gives them nostalgia. it does not matter that how good the futures updates and events will be, players will always hate them saying that old pubg was good because of nostalgia feel. that was just my opinion. keep playing and enjoying the game. BEST WISHES FOR YOU :)
@@techyyo7972this you just explained the whole problem, “nostalgia” is what driven the people to hate pubg mobile. i myself enjoy and adapted with this more fast paced gameplay and it actually more fun imo than the old pubg, i played pubg mobile since s2 and the amount of skins and cosmetics is always there since the s2 this people be bugging for no reason and hate the new pubg like its literally did not change, they just added a new game mode, event and stuff to target a more wider audience
Yes. Zombies were the best thing to come to pubg mobile. I wish they'd bring them back. Classic Erangel is still fun even if it is mostly bots. I miss playing other maps. It's darn near impossible to get a match on the other maps.
@@joshua_lutherplay metro royale its terrifying trying to go anywhere in almost all the maps it's actually terrifying just imagine going into a building and you don't know if there's a player camping in there also there's a zombie map
my absolute favorite gaming memories all belong to the 2020-2022 stretch my friends and I played PUBG mobile almost every day. Those long nights of gaming have forever been engraved into my brain and heart. The game’s slow pace made for a great opportunity to talk about our futures, and just everything we’ve been through in our lives, just being vulnerable and open with each other. When the firefights eventually came, we immediately switch into battle mode and watch each other’s backs, sacrificing our lives for each other when we had no other choice. I’m fine with the cosmetics, but the game really does feel different after coming back to it 2 years later.
Now it's just ranked bots doing loads of damage until the sweats pull up to kill you because they heard shots. The skill wall for entering this game now is too high as said in the video.
I have played Pubg mobile since it's release on 2018, truly the game that has my best memories to this day.I stopped in 2021. Now, even if I want to I can't bring myself to play whatever the hell it is now...

You are absolutely right. I have moved on to CoDM a year and a half back, but I still sometimes play the TH-cam video of an orchestra playing the PUBG theme music to re-live the nostalgia. I am glad I am still with the same squad I started PUBG with in CoDM too and we reminisce the good times we had in Miramar.
Lets be real its our attention span that has decreased that led to developers making fast paced matches bcz classic mode with little to non changes are still there but nobody wanna play those bcz they would rather scroll on tiktok, insta etc rather spend 30 mins on a match. If pubg still was how it was in 2018 people would have been complaining how game hasn't change much and it lacks new content. Btw nice video all the reasons you mentioned are also true ❤👍.
This is the correct thing. Pubg still feels old classic to me after I saw it in 2024 from back in 2019. Play erangel on classic(non event) and it's still real deal. Those 30+ minutes match, talking with friends in voice chat and survival gameplay. Skins and event modes aren't what ruined it. Devs had to make what people wanted
I started playing PUBGM since S2 but quit once the events (Godzilla, pyramids, etc.) started to get more frequent. It's sad to see the game I used to play for hours on end fall to this level. I remember me and my friends would hunt the players with the skins Glacier and The fool since they were usually good players to fight with lol, I will forever cherish the moments I had playing with friends on this game.
This is always true for tencent Codm back then:military shooting game Codm now:anime Pubg back then:battle royal Pubg now:random collab with unkown ass companies
Unlike PUBGM, CODM wasn't exactly trying to be this 'realistic military' stuff. From the beginning of the game, they already have colorful gun skins as a start, on top of this the game movement focus more on being fast rather than trying to be heavy and realistic. If you look at the earlier version such as Legend of War, the game was already heavily based on BO2 which is more of a sci-fi title with lots of high tech stuff. The game is also heavily based on BO4 and to some degree BO3 with operator skills and battle royale skills. So yeah, if you have play year 1 of CODM even before the gunsmith update, they already have insane looking and colorful gun skins and it's only about time colorful character skins came along. So GFL anime skin is still on brand for CODM. Which is unlike PUBG that suddenly did a 180 in it's theme just because.
Nice video . I've been playing this game for 5 years now. You could say i started playing when the game left its original form and entered its new era where modes were released every 2 months. In my personal experience, the game actually became better until today The graphics became better, and the customisation became better There are fewer hackers and bugs. The only thing that changed in pubgm are the players Nowadays people are more competitive . Back then, there were fewer content creators than today. There were fewer videos telling you how to loot , where to land, and overall how to play the game With the rise of tiktok/social media, players now know more tactics and how to play the game better. Social media also changed how players looked at skins while watching their favourite youtuber/tiktoker playing aggressively and getting 20 to 40 kills per match. For example, the famous pubg mummy suit, the pharo x-suit, and the inferno helmet, this made those players look cool and made pubgm players want to buy those skin's . Most of the players who left the game are the players who aged and have better things to do than to play games
Why i loved pubg is because it was only a realistic fps game ever existed. but the day went on they added battle pass, unrealistic stuff, cartoonish skins, and more.. and that is the main reason why i left the game because it became like every other fps game
I started playing pubg mobile from Season 3 (2018) when my brother told me about it. I didn't knew this game at first until he told me and at first I thought the name was funny but after I start playing I was so addict to this game that even for the game update, I wait until it is release on the play store. Mid 2018 to late 2020 was the best year during those days even though I got scolded by my parents due to playing like 6-8 hrs non stop After that I still played for like 6months or so but I stop playing mobile games after that due to having my own PC and started playing PC games (specially Valorant) I only reached Ace ranked in pubg mobile during those days and those intense shouting in the game was the best memory. I played during resident evil collab, alan walker and blackpink period. And my phone at that time was 3gb ram and 32gb storage. The best part was waiting for texture to load during parachute landing and the character jumping in the places due to slow texture loading as my phone was pretty bad.
You really made me emotional-thank you so much for helping me look back on all the awesome moments I shared with my friend during the peak of PUBG. You also did an incredible job of reminding me about the game’s decline. No one could have explained it better than you did.
I agree with every word you said in this video. The game just feels like a depressing cycle of the same thing over and over again every season, it doesn't hit the same anymore to say the least.
for me sanhok is intermediate, not too slow not too fast. For erangel being less 'fight scene', sanhok got that covered. Then come Livik with 2x2. In my country Livik was really overwhelm by unskilled and new players. Me myself played Livik more than other bigger map bcs the game is quick but i still enjoyed the essence of how pubg used to be the tension, suspend and so on. Only thing i hate about Livik is they arent the same as the beta version which i like more.
Its not just that it lost most of its players because of things like fast paced events or because its not the same as it was. I have played PUBG mobile since I was 12. I used to pull up like 7-8 hours daily. And with the lockdown going on and not having the facilities to take online classes it went up like 14-15 hours a day. But after the lockdown was up me and my friends had to work, study do things most of us were supposed to do. And after that we would be exhausted which meant we didn't play long and slowly started playing way less like 2-3 hours a day. After that last year when we were 17 we started to focus more on our career which led me and my friends to a good grade we stopped playing and are still unable to find time to play the game we're fond of. I still kept playing after my friends stopped and it seemed not so fun anymore. same thing happened with my brother. Its just that PUBG doesn't seem fun to play without friends. Like we share glitches funny moments and have genuinely great time just like in real life. So in summary if even one of the player in a team stops playing the entire squad also stops playing. We don't replace a friend with anyone. Our squad is either always full or always empty.
Man I'm so grateful someone made a video on this game. I still remember playing this in its early days non stop with my friends, back then it was pure fun with no current bullshit. The cosmetics are just so annoying that right now it's just a fashion show rather than a battleground
I hope people don't forget that pubg PC still feels the same as it was back in 2017, just with a newer engine and improved visuals ofc it's more harder than the crappy mobile version. Edit: sure the pc version may be “dead” and bugs that still happened here and there, the game honestly still has a pretty good amount of players playing it till this day and since Pubg pc slowly loses lots of players. They ofc made the game free to play now and gain some players who didn’t bother to buy Pubg before, even if the game isn’t as popular anymore it still isn’t dead because of how many players the game still gains,And as for skins yeah let’s just say mobile Pubg is like any other mobile game which has a lot of fucking skins, it feels like a fashion game rather than a br game and also the ridiculous shit they add which takes the realism away that Pubg pc still has. Old Pubg pc was peak and mobile Pubg is a mockery to the pc version. What’s your guys other opinions?
Pubg and Call of Duty fell off hard on mobile. Warzone Mobile is still an unoptimized disaster, and i do not consider free fire as a proper game worthy of my time. Pinning hopes on Delta Force now
I miss remember Pubg Mobile 2018 to Alan Walker event 2019 not too many events and not too many costumes or skins play for fun not for winning to upgrade score, There are not many stressful championships and skills. And Pubg Mobile is like a miniature society with negative gameplay and the distinction between rich and poor 😢😔 those were the years that money and gold could never buy.
2018-2020's majority players playing PUBG seriously like they are part of the real life battle royale and now most of players play it just for fun and there are many games to playing for fun
because that time it was new and by the time we become old enough do you get same energy of playing 3d gtas as same as childhood like playing dr driving again with same vibe is impossible most of it is because games are getting old and all companies milking same game and trying to earn money from one particular source same with freefire same with minecraft same with gta 5

I am a former pro player and still play up to this day since release. I quit midway through almost a year due to personal issues. This video needs to go mainstream, but knowing the corporate greed and influence of Tencent, I won't be surprised if this video disappears one day. I miss old pubg, and there is no way I can get back that feeling ever. It helped me grieve and move on from my father's death, so it will always have a special place in my heart. But all good things must end and I too have moved on in life. Current pubg is okay but most old players will either shift to competitive to get the same feel or just leave, which is sad really. My countries competitive scene is dying. Once we managed to get one team on the global stage, the goal was to target even higher. Somewhere along the way, our community lost the passion, and everyone was consumed by all-consuming greed and ego.
Same i was tier 2 competitive player in my country, then stop playing pubg due to personal issues, but i still play it rarely, the game have special place in my heart it's still a good game tho but not as good as the og

Fond memories of 2018-2019 pubgm, seasons 2 to I think 9 or 10, release of sanhok, the vast miramar games were my fav, early school/pecado/bootcamp/villa hotdrops, arab randoms asking for kar on erangel, made some good friends of all ages and different countries, learned to play claw, played with a clan in some tourneys, got conq on fpp in s5 on na servers, got the mythic bunny suit and others (for free ofc). Squad games were fun with a good team, used to play into the early hours. Experienced some nice long range /moving snipes, also improbable situations/wins that would make my week. Facing remaining squads in final circles with the vss. Made some unreleased compilations of best moments. Tried to get the glass cannon title and gave up. Later on had fun playing tdm with the pump shotgun and the broken kar98. Eventually fpp became unplayable, hackers were too much of a problem and friends stopped playing, it just wasn’t the same anymore. Played a few times since when I stopped in 2020, it’s unplayable now for someone who remembers what it was like. The memories remain and I sometimes still watch chocotaco stream..
I really agree with the part of people wanting to get more kills instead of getting chicken dinner, i still do play it i mean bgmi the indian version, all my friends and teammates wants kills more than wins now Also about the events, you have an option to change which you want to play either the classic maps or the same maps with events and i always go for the classic when i play with randoms and events with friends only But yeah it's sad to see what pubgm/bgmi has become today
But i think that's the main issue why this game doesnt gain new players. The new players will get demolished by skill gap if they enter Diamond and up, same goes with the old returning players. There's a lot of my friends return to this game just to find themselves getting rekt... And i introduce this game to some of my friends that never play this game, i even make a new account so we can play together and guess what? They met the same fate. And then they get bored because its just not fun died by someone with insane skills at the game. They finally quit.
I played PUBG from s2-s19 I have had enough, from when I used to play, driving a car means death, like everyone sees you and will shoot you, so you are pretty much forced to walk the entire time, back then when looting then spotting a player which loot is obvsly higher than yours, you get this shaking hand if yours, not sure when to shoot but hesitant to do so, since it was a high risk high reward, less than 10 bullets is enough to send you to lobby, and it's good! You get these thrill because YOU know that YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE unlike now where in event areas provide you respawn tokens to return to the battlefield, which completely remove the worry to die. And it's the problem, having reassured that you will respawn will not trigger that rush and shaky hands you get, and that's the feeling WE WANT when we play, an actual game that focuses on pure survival and the ability to strike the opportunity when it comes, back then I play enthusiastically but now... It feels bland, like eating something sweet but you lost your sense of taste, right now I loath current PUBG, no other games can satisfy my taste, and that is my stupidly long statement. (Btw I'm selling my PUBG account it has s2-s19 items)
Who remembers the PUBG Timi version? I used to watch Timi version gameplay on TH-cam all the time since I started playing PUBG in 2019. It was definitely better than the Lightspeed version. If Tencent had chosen the Timi Studio version, the game would be much better than what we’re playing now. It was better in every aspect.😭
@@rabiulyt21224 Tencent made 2 version of PUBG in 2 different studio, they are also under Tencent company. Tencent choose Lightspeed version. (Timi Studio & Lightspeed studio)
I played pubg mobile since the beta and got the highest rank in S3 which is conquer, the game was amazing in the first 3 seasons. Absolute gold and was so good that i was addicted to it, but after season 4 it all went down..
2018-2019 people were learning how to play PUBG. In 2024, those same people have mastered the game. I remember my random teammates use to be Noob or campers. Now all my random teammates have 8-9+ KD. Time doesn't stop for anyone, PUBG Mobile has become very difficult, especially if your a solo player.
I installed PUBGM 24th Dec in 2018 and used to play almost for 2 yrs. I even bought a controller for firing/ADS button after a year. I never forget those moments what it caused to me. Nothing lasts forever unfortunately.
I used to STAYY on this game but I stopped after many realizations of the game owners greed. I couldn't believe how much money was needed to spend to get a skin. unbelievable !!!!
the OG PUBG PC background....we were warming up getting to know the game..miss these days...the lobby sound just slowly increasing just makes it thrilling....thinking what the next match could be....
This was a great video that hit a lot of great points. There's nothing more intense than having the basic equipment and tactics to protect yourself and do damage to your enemy to win the chicken dinner. I still love going for chicken dinners, but yes a high kill chicken dinner does feel good. What feels even better is using your brain, tactics, and communication to win instead of a stingray or whatever. All in all classics is better than the events, but hardly anybody plays classics anymore.
YOU SAID the truth. I left PUBG MOBILE 1 Year Ago, it's sad really how the company pushed developers and made the original maps into a kid's theme park with new updates. SAD & disappointed at the same time. edit: greedy TENCENT
I was an avid PUBGM player ever since it was released. So many fond memories playing with mates and winning. Then it became a money grab, complicated mess. Miss what it used to be but all good things eventually meet their end.
According to me,for PUBG to maintain it's true spirit, PUBGM should have Ranked mode only in the Original maps, and keep Event mode as 'Unranked' (for casual kids to play) and kills + position should not Add up in Statistics. For eg. Players usually have 2x or 3x more kills in event modes compared to classic maps, with upto 2x or 3x respawns. Therefore, the player Statistics greatly became overwhelming whilst it would not have been in non-event modes. Thus, Ranked matches should be free from Event modes, and the game would still won't lose it's true spirit.
My ideas: 1. Better grass for ghillie suit 2. lower sniper damage at close range 3. Better atmosphere, it would be nice if it could rain 4. Increase stealth 5. PUBG PC Snipers, with bullet drop
@@Vison_98 No, that's just another unranked mode , just like Sniper training, Payload,etc.... Here i m talking about Ranked and statistics... Yes there is option for Ranked mode without Event(normal Erangel, miramar, etc). Many players still prefer to play classic ranked matches without Event modes. But there is huge differences in Statistics (K/d,etc) between Event players and Non-Event players. PUBG was originally not intended for kids but nowadays the spirit of true PUBG has been long dead and its like Kids playground with Flying Stingrays, Werewolves, Zombies, Godzilla, Venom, etc. Totally Cartoon game

I started playing it when it came out in 2018 but i also stopped playing about 2 months later because my phone was running out of space. Glad i left when it was in its prime and never experienced the downfall

The only thing that made it greate was those old days with no flashy skins, just eerie dark ish environment, abondened buildings 100 Players + most of us being new, playing with freinds😍,driving, getting shot at, going back to the lobby laughing , looting togather 🥺. Nothing can replace that. With only one makes it out a live just something being in that map of erangel, nostalgic Soviet Russia 1980s/ Chechnya war environment can't quite be goten on fingers but it's there that was what made it Special❤
You can ignore and walk by all these events and flashy things You cant see cosmetics you haven't downloaded and you can choose to play classic It's like 2 different people seeing two different games One of them see it as a tense and careful game and the other sees it as a fast paced quick decision fire fight
Theres literally hundreds of special events and now thousands of weird costumes it's almost impossible to navigate. They made the game into fortnite which is a huge fail. Pubg is like a kpop royale it's so dumb. Flying on dragons, carpets, surf boards, fighting ancient monsters and flying ice dragons? This isn't pubg anymore.

My account is from Day 1, but I started to really actively play when covid hits to stay connected with my buddies. Kinda called it quits when Apex mobile came out (RIP) but I still come back to it every once in a while to check out the events. Honestly it's fun when you don't take it too seriously and play for ranks.
FF died because of headshots, active skills, pay2win gun skins and movement like zig zag. I say this cause gloo wall is like a core part of the game which came in the earliest seasons of the game. It was a useless item and then they gave it an upgrade making it useful rather than just a useless item. Gloo wall is the identity of Free Fire like how build is the identity of Fortnite, things like that are cool until people become too competitive with them.

Newstate died because of these issues:
• Technical issues
• Wynsanity
• Community
Upon release, Newstate Mobile (NSM) was plagued with bugs and performance issues that literally cooked phones and caused the game to frequently crash... like on the PC version.
Damn
Honestly if there phone is bad, why did they even download NSM, it works fine on My phone.
underrated aspect of this scandal is that even CODM, and BGMI (india only pubgm port), are also becoming increasingly difficult to run due to the extremely large, unoptimized updates.
Damn, insanely observed !!!!! 👌

I've recently picked up PUBG mobile again after 3 years break.
Yes I got overwhelmed by the amounts of stuff you can do in this game, and skins and cosmetics. (They got housing system now, WTF)
But playing classic mode (non-event server) still gives me that original feeling when I played this game on launch.
BEST WISHES FOR YOU :)

my absolute favorite gaming memories all belong to the 2020-2022 stretch my friends and I played PUBG mobile almost every day.

This is always true for tencent
Codm back then:military shooting game
Codm now:anime
Pubg back then:battle royal
Pubg now:random collab with unkown ass companies
@itsarin2166 true
Nice video . I've been playing this game for 5 years now. You could say i started playing when the game left its original form and entered its new era where modes were released every 2 months.
In my personal experience, the game actually became better until today
The graphics became better, and the customisation became better
There are fewer hackers and bugs.
The only thing that changed in pubgm are the players
Nowadays people are more competitive .
Back then, there were fewer content creators than today.
There were fewer videos telling you how to loot , where to land, and overall how to play the game
With the rise of tiktok/social media, players now know more tactics and how to play the game better.
Social media also changed how players looked at skins
while watching their favourite youtuber/tiktoker playing aggressively and getting 20 to 40 kills per match.
I didn't knew this game at first until he told me and at first I thought the name was funny but after I start playing
I was so addict to this game that even for the game update, I wait until it is release on the play store.
Mid 2018 to late 2020 was the best year during those days even though I got scolded by my parents due to playing like 6-8 hrs non stop
After that I still played for like 6months or so but I stop playing mobile games after that due to having my own PC and started playing PC games (specially Valorant)
I only reached Ace ranked in pubg mobile during those days and those intense shouting in the game was the best memory.
I played during resident evil collab, alan walker and blackpink period.
And my phone at that time was 3gb ram and 32gb storage. The best part was waiting for texture to load during parachute landing and the character jumping in the places due to slow texture loading as my phone was pretty bad.
Has been so long that I had forgotten how good 2018-2019 pubgm was

The End of an Era.
I agree with every word you said in this video. The game just feels like a depressing cycle of the same thing over and over again every season, it doesn't hit the same anymore to say the least.
It was slow , it was meant to be slow but now 4 sq km maps ruining the slow intense suspense
for me sanhok is intermediate, not too slow not too fast. Only thing i hate about Livik is they arent the same as the beta version which i like more.
bro understands old player's feelings
2018 to 2019 was not only the best time of Pubg mobile but also the best years of myself, I miss those years so much, the years without worries 😢
@ΤλιΗιεη Yeah. I enjoyed every bit of this game.

This video is one of the best explanations of what happened to pubg 👏
Which country are you from?
Same i was tier 2 competitive player in my country, then stop playing pubg due to personal issues, but i still play it rarely, the game have special place in my heart it's still a good game tho but not as good as the og
I was an T1 competitive player in the era of 2020-21 but I discontinued playing pubg after that since it got banned in India and then I changed my career path , for now I'm focus on my studies I found out the I really like physics and im continuing my life by studying physics chemistry and maths and now everybody appreciates, it's not like when I was playing BGMI or PUBG and I was having fun with that game fof hours but wasn't really appreciated because it was just a game , not many people become professionally successful in this path
@Professional_NERD damn how you got intrest in physics maths 😭
I really agree with the part of people wanting to get more kills instead of getting chicken dinner, i still do play it i mean bgmi the indian version, all my friends and teammates wants kills more than wins now
Also about the events, you have an option to change which you want to play either the classic maps or the same maps with events and i always go for the classic when i play with randoms and events with friends only
But yeah it's sad to see what pubgm/bgmi has become today
That is what made it sweatier now
But i think that's the main issue why this game doesnt gain new players.
@@itsme_arthur7563sounds like a skill issue on their end
I hope this video reaches to krafton, tencent, and their developers 😢
Nothing but facts, amazing video btw💯
Who remembers the PUBG Timi version? I used to watch Timi version gameplay on TH-cam all the time since I started playing PUBG in 2019. It was definitely better than the Lightspeed version. If Tencent had chosen the Timi Studio version, the game would be much better than what we’re playing now. It was better in every aspect.😭
when the game had 60fps on mobile and emulator, we were locked in.....waited patiently
tencent developed within 4 months is crazy tbh...copying the whole pc to mobile...i was pc user
@@rabiulyt21224 Tencent made 2 version of PUBG in 2 different studio, they are also under Tencent company. Tencent choose Lightspeed version.
(Timi Studio & Lightspeed studio)
bro made a jaw drop "watch me while you eat dinner "content and thought we won't notice
19:20 I almost cried I miss old pubg and my friends 😔
I cried
I played pubg mobile since the beta and got the highest rank in S3 which is conquer, the game was amazing in the first 3 seasons. Absolute gold and was so good that i was addicted to it, but after season 4 it all went down..
The large number of random skins is currently a sign that PUBG Mobile is nearing its end.
Welcome back
2018-2019 people were learning how to play PUBG.
It is the lags and glitches that is making it dead and the people are bored of battleroyal games. Nothing else.
I used to STAYY on this game but I stopped after many realizations of the game owners greed. I couldn't believe how much money was needed to spend to get a skin. unbelievable !!!!
It threw away its original identity to become a watered down fortnite
the OG PUBG PC background....we were warming up getting to know the game..miss these days...the lobby sound just slowly increasing just makes it thrilling....thinking what the next match could be....
Finally someone who understood 😢 the reality
My ideas:
1. Better grass for ghillie suit
2. lower sniper damage at close range
3. Better atmosphere, it would be nice if it could rain
4. Increase stealth
5. PUBG PC Snipers, with bullet drop
Yes there is new hardcore mode called ultimate royal
@@rainy6563 bro its ranked its rank system is different major people that now and it has no bots these changes are there cuz now tencent is handling the game for past 2 months now after 3 years.
@@Vison_98 ok alright.. need to try out then
I will always remember those days, my whole squad sit around bonfire and play this game in winters, during covid In summers hands used to sweat alot so we rub our hands with talcum powder, The absolute chaos in zombie mod everyone was screaming to save him, The alan walker car music, That all on my 2GB ram phone which hardly gave 20FPS, later I got good device and played for only few months and the game got banned in india, I never played it again also never spent a single penny in this game, later my cousin took my ID because it had that popular m4 skin I don't even remember the name.
in conclusion the game was better because it was realistic and simple, with not so much skins and events
you can still play the old eventless modes and you can turn off skins. stop crying
@@skop3609turn off skins? Just don't download extra content at all so no skin at all. Shit eats a lot of my phone storage 😂
yeah the condiment was too much

I started playing it when it came out in 2018 but i also stopped playing about 2 months later because my phone was running out of space. Glad i left when it was in its prime and never experienced the downfall
Now it's goofier than free fire even, since when flying Jellyfish and really stupid crazy skins that cjange the guns to alien/magical weapons + princess costumes make This game Good?
The only thing that made it greate was those old days with no flashy skins, just eerie dark ish environment, abondened buildings 100 Players + most of us being new, playing with freinds😍,driving, getting shot at, going back to the lobby laughing , looting togather 🥺.
Nothing can replace that.
With only one makes it out a live just something being in that map of erangel, nostalgic Soviet Russia 1980s/ Chechnya war environment
can't quite be goten on fingers but it's there that was what made it Special❤
You can ignore and walk by all these events and flashy things
You cant see cosmetics you haven't downloaded and you can choose to play classic
It's like 2 different people seeing two different games
One of them see it as a tense and careful game and the other sees it as a fast paced quick decision fire fight
For your info they are called special events they are the thing due to which the game is even alive rn 😂
As a player who started playing since the release. I agree with everything you said
don't feel like a battle no more
yk what i just realized this,i always play pubgm everyday before but day by day pubgm become a "fast-pace" game and i didnt realize that, and of course i follow the path and play more faster too, until i become frustrated and stop playing pubgm, and i just realize why i like to play escape from tarkov game alike more now such as arena breakout or lost light
Pubg mobile went from a unique feeling to a disappointment
Wow some content that i actually like to watch, thanks for making these vufeos man ❤️
My account is from Day 1, but I started to really actively play when covid hits to stay connected with my buddies. Kinda called it quits when Apex mobile came out (RIP) but I still come back to it every once in a while to check out the events. Honestly it's fun when you don't take it too seriously and play for ranks.
I’ll forever miss hearing and saying “FLYING SHOTGUN KILLAH” -8sxope I’ll miss those very nostalgic and touching moments of 2018-2020
Such a refreshing Video of My favorite Mobile game. I miss the gameplay so much but its not authentic feeling anymore
PUBG died because of cosmetics. COD died for same reason. Free fire died because of Glue Wall.
COD died??? are you fr
Struck your lgbtq nerve?@@dullasado
Wym gloo wall was the heart of free fire lol, free fire died because of gun skins
More like COD never lived 🤣@@dullasado
My friends and I used to play it in high school during lunch and it was so good. I downloaded it again recently and was like what the hell is this?
