    We have these at the university where I work. I love riding them, and I use them to get some motorcycling practice consisting of exercises that caused me to fail my MSF course. I can’t afford a full-on bike yet. So, I am very thankful to Veo for making these available where I can access them. Even as a low speed bike, they handle well and still give a burst of speed that gives me a high. Low speed bikes are still fun. Definitely give these a try if you are in the market for a e-scooter. Veo now sells these to anyone who wants one.

    They are available in the Bronx now. Very fun! They are much faster than you think. I try to use training mode so I dont go so fast. Seat isnt really "cozy" but its ok. For someone who never drove a scooter or motorcycle before I find this very safe. It jerks when pressing the speed I wish the speed button was a bit stiffer. You press the button and it goes fast very quickly.

    I didn’t know this about the hill. I’ve gone mostly down on a hill but never up. And luckily, some hills in my area aren’t steep. Very informative.

    Tried one today here in San Diego, $0.39 / minute, agree w/ the display, couldn't see it in bright sunlight. Handles well like a mini-motorcycle, good acceleration and hill climbing with my 170 pounds on the scooter.

    I'd seen a few and it says on the moped,DO NOT RIDE ON SIDEWALKS If it can handle 660 lbs,,It can handled me (280 lb),,,Why it doesn't have mirrors or signal lights?

    I agree with what you said. I have veos in my area, and I agree, the display needs work, it should go faster, and you said it was 2-4 cents per minute? Where I live, it’s 30+. Also I have a bird air that would be good for reviewing

    Any suggestions for a e-scooter that will routinely handle lots of steep hills in WA?

  • @SUVRVing

    Thanks for the video. That range is awesome, but it sounds like they've got some changes to make in their 2.0 version. 2 to 4 cents per minute to ride? Did I hear that right? That's waaaaay cheaper than a typical rideshare scooter. Are they in St. George?

      @ElectricRevolution  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah range is crazy good and yup .2 - .4 / min. Not yet but hopefully soon

    Is that a dual motor system? Or is that just the front brakes built into the center of the front rim?

    Fifty five miles of range? Wow, that's pretty amazing. I wouldn't feel comfortable riding this on the road, but in a bike lane, maybe.

    In my area people are just dumping them wherever. I see many just sitting on someone's lawn or wherever the driver decided to just leave it... Street corners, a driveway, you name it.
    Ridiculous BS.

    Ooo, yeah. They definitely gotta handle hills if they ever want to expand to San Francisco or something.

    These things are just left all over the place in my city. I see them on the map miles away from any of the designated parking areas. Do people get charged when they leave it somewhere?

    I love these scooters ( Keep in mind they are not the scooter on this video it’s more of a basic scooter you know stand up style you know your basic scooter from the 80s style which doesn’t matter I think these are cooler than the ones are shown on the video). I rent them here in town they have them all around the city and you download the application and it’s a dollar to unlock the scooter and I don’t know what $.12 a mile or something like that I don’t know but they’re fun fun fun tell your daddy takes the scooter away.

    Do you happen to know if the battery is based off LiIon (NMC/NCA/etc) or Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP/LiFePO4)? Just curious about battery cycle longevity.

    Absolutely the worst e bike company in my city. Veo seems to have very little care for their products. Their app is a massive disappointment as well. Majority of the bikes I've used have had very dangerous faults. The worse being one that had no brakes and a throttle that stuck and jammed open. I've also had numerous veo bikes laying around my house and work for months waiting to be fixed and veo seems to have forgotten about them. Their app constantly messes up your location and will slam you into a no ride speed even if it is blocks away. Same with location finding. The bikes are rarely where it says

    Just came to my city.
    Put $10 dollars in my account and multiple bikes would not unlock.
    I had a gut feeling I would not be able to unlock the product and I was 100% right. Contacted and got a refund.
    Not worth the time

    The scooters are great as far as manufacturing and functionality goes but their company is garbage I spent $640 riding their scooters in 30 days time and to thank me they gave me a $25 parking ticket for parking the scooter in a place it allowed me to park it the scooters have many no ride and no-parking zones in my city and I was allowed to park it in this place and they fine me for it $25. 640?!? And I get a fine as a thank u .

    Do you need a driver's license to use this

    • @chanmarr8118
      @chanmarr8118 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, which is awesome. If it was a moped, yes. But since it’s a bike you’re good to go as long as you’re 18+.
