    How do you keep it from being stole?
    Where do you park it? Would not fit in a bike rack
    How far will it travel on a charge?
    Cannot pedal assist: slower, less distance, cannot ride like a bike if charge goes out

    • @electrifiedreviews
      @electrifiedreviews  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      what's up, walter! all this is addressed in depth in the video, but here's some quick answers to these questions. the motor locks the rear wheel when the scooter is off so it can't be rolled/ridden away. it weighs about 100 pounds so it's unlikely someone is going to run off with it. it goes about 30 miles on a charge. and you are correct that it cannot be ridden like a bike as it doesn't have any pedals. hope that helps!

      I spent about the same building my ebike. It's faster, more powerful, and has twice the range of this thing. They should up the voltage and make the motor crank out 2000W. Then it would do close to 40 mph. I wouldn't mind voiding the warranty and moding one of these if I had the money to tinker with it.

    It's an piece of art. It is not a practical transportation device. It lacks in so many areas that it's hardly worth listing. A person should just go buy an e-bike and could do a lot more for a lot less. Get a Radrover for $1500 and go just about anywhere.

    Because it's so stable and beefy I would like to see it hit a higher top speed, longer ride time, and more power. It is expensive, but maybe jacking up the performance can justify the price a little better. Copycat China will answer the challenge and build one for a fraction of the cost and offer cheaper/free shipping. Maybe it won't be built as well or have the latest/greatest tech, but for a lot of people price talks, and China is learning and building things better as time goes on.

      solar chargers would be a pretty cool addition to bring along. would have to be pretty big to get it charged though. it can climb relatively steep hills, but it will drain the battery much more quickly compared to driving on flatter terrain

    I SOOOOO MUCH want one of these, ....BUT, They are ILLEGAL to use on either the street OR the road, here in the UK! You can use them on PRIVATE property, but that demote these things to mere VERY expensive toys!
    I'd like to see these scooters aimed at disability markets. I can make it around a store or supermarket, but getting around town is impossible for me. I'm a biker and if this satisfied the laws for DISABILITY SCOOTERS (the clumsy chair on 3 or 4 wheels affairs!) then I can see thousands being sold!

    • @electrifiedreviews
      @electrifiedreviews  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      hey mark! that's a bummer. the UK laws for electric scooters are pretty antiquated, but ours are a bit too lax. would be nice to see a compromise that lands somewhere in the middle.and i think that's a fantastic idea to use these as a way to get around for those who have trouble walking. the stability on this one would be a huge plus compared to similar ones with a rounder tire profile

    Brent, what p.s.i. are you running in the tires, between 10 and 20? Is there anyway you could drop the psi down to around 4 or 5 and let me know how the steering/handling feels on pavement and soft sand? Dropping the tire pressure down will make the ride way more supple and plush. I'll be doing mostly soft sand desert riding with a little pavement in between and want to run low tire pressure. I'm hoping that these tires will still ride and steer acceptably on the pavement at such low pressure. Love this fat tire scooter!
