When farriers are willing to "break their backs" on these huge drafts, I think ya'll should give them a gift certificate for a full deep muscle massage! I don't know how farrier's do it even with the smaller breeds day in and day out.
Such hard work being a farrier. Like your lovely caring attitude you have attracted like-hearted people to support the wonderful work you are doing for these down-on-their luck horses. I can already see significant improvements in your most recent 4 rescues. The Belgian seems much higher in her spirits. It is lovely to see.
Being a farrier is damn hard work..especially when you're trying to lift a Drafts leg and she ain't wanting to cooperate 🙈..poor Mike..he needs steel toe boots or he'll end up missing some toes !!.. your draft is so beautiful. . She knows it too...I've seen on another channel they use the feathers to pull up their legs..its lovely seeing them get the love and care they should have had all along..I'm not knowledgeable on horses...what is Heaves ?... Never heard of it before..?🇬🇧💞🙏✝️👍👏🐎🐎🐎🇺🇸
Just a mention that a young horse i once owned looked like she had occasional stringhalt but it turned out to be a ligament in her stifle catching. There's a name for the condition but i forgot. Needed box rest. Love the work you do. 💗

Heaves / COPD is basically chronic breathing issues. We'll explain more in the next video!
