    I can vouch for the shop in Golden being the best. I bought my first Grand Cherokee from Jeb in 2011. In 2015 I went back to buy an SRT and Jeb still remembered me, even down to what kind of work I do.

    Great instructional vid mate. I always do an oil change after the car has been driven. Word of advice, leave the dip stick in and oil filler cap on. Reason being it will as said, create a vacuum so the HOT oil doesn't come quickly and gives you time to remove the oil sump plug. Nothing is fun about getting burnt fingers and dropping your sump bolt into the oil tray !

    You should put oil in the new filter so it doesn't run dry for those few seconds it's building pressure. Every little thing helps the next person when you get the trackhawk.

      @PorssiMies incorrect. Putting oil into the center risks contamination as the oil is filter from the outside small holes to the inside larger hole. If you insist on doing this fill it from the outside holes.

    Attempted my transmission fluid drain, pan/filter replacement and fill this weekend. Have a ‘14 Jeep SRT and dealer wanted $1,014 to do it. Sad part is, cross bars need to be removed which I wasn’t comfortable with and I realized there is nowhere to actually put new fluids in. I am a newb and trying to learn as I go but this one seems a bit stupid? Any help?

    • @JoshShare
      @JoshShare  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need a special tool to fill from the drain plug I believe. Not 100% sure since I haven’t done it yet. The pan needs to come off to replace the filter though

    • @thetrailaheadofus
