I like to call it 'sweet oblivion'... you're tired and you sleep, it's natural, life's a sport like estafette-running.
I'm lucky in that respect, I have a healthy 19 year old son and last week we had a talk together, I told him he didn't have to worry about starting his own family, we'd be happy to take care of grandchildren, run errands, support financially and with help and care... I'm looking forward to ever be a gramps, but I don't really want to stick around for ever, that would be boring... especially since you have to come to terms with the fact that your abilities to get work done degrades...
