Jesus is a lot like king Arthur, I'm sure there was once a king that liked adventure, but we can safely say he didn't have a friend who was a magic wielder... they're making things up.
Indeed also a good point, they decided what went in the bible, by doing that they admit people did try to make things up and get it added to the bible, and they're claiming that they could tell what was divinely inspired and what was not...

It,s a shame God can't speak for himself but needs human secretaries, theres over 60 differrent gospels not inspired by God ,didn't anyone teach God to read or write ?

@@justinporter458 you know, I've become a lot happier since I decided that I'm not interested in the answer of the 'why'-question... 'how' is what really matters, especially from a perfect creature I don't expect the need for making himself a universe, that makes me suspect boredom, or worse, he's hungry... so there's most likely no conscious creator, it is a wonderful thing to be alive, we together, the living creatures in the universe, might very well be the first time the universe had a thing like this happening, 'mother nature' sounds good as a name for that, mothers usually don't expect you to worship them, there's exceptions, but those usually confirm the rule...

​@marcdc6809 It,s good you,ve become happier Mark ,the how may be answered by science but the why ? Maybe there is no answer ,Mother Nature doesn't have to explain herself to us ,because she is not aware of our existence. I,ve become alot happier knowing my life doesn't go on forever. Then again I wonder what happened to me in 1961, me been born ,could happen again if it happened once, could it happen again ??? I hope not ,unless I come back as Elvis Presley the 2nd . I don't think there's life in the milky way but maybe in the Andromada Galaxy but it takes 56 years to get there travelling at the speed of life and I don't have a spare 112 years to spare .
