Thanks!🙏 I'm just a middle-aged guy with a job and a family, I've climbed all the Everests (and by the way, Cinq Canons is a (very beautiful) hill) I need to, but that's not really the purpose. And in this world, the rewards for spending hundreds or thousands of hours on something very few people care about are diminishing very quickly.
Wonderful music! The only drawback - Helmut's Serynade is too short, so I've listened to it three times in the row. 😂 How many times have YOU listened?
Go read find out. Start with analysis papers on Messiaen then Webern Variations, then Boulez 2nd Sonata. The harmonic frequencies are important in this kind of music. Looking and listening are never enough not even in a Bach prelude.
@@jonasolssonpianist Now he'e mellowed out and everything. I'm being provocative, of course. Now I feel the era of horrible sounding music is coming to a close ;-)
I’ve been humming this one all day
This is great.
Honestly quite beautiful, I've not quite appreciated Lachenmann till now! Will check out some more
I like it. Very much!
I love the spectralism in 25:24-26:30.
Lachenmann was a huge inspiration for master Koskinen.
coisa boa
sodelicious............................
Any plans of playing Barrett pieces?
Hmm, I don't have unlimited time any more, but I've always thought that Tract does look slightly tempting.
@@jonasolssonpianist you've done Pauset's Cinq Canons! Extreme potential to play harder pieces. Admire your performances!

I'll never understand the love Lachenmann gets...
Lmao
based Lachenmann
Не похоже на серенаду.
Closer to a mazurka
Well it's interesting for 7 minutes but 30mn is way too much.
'orrible.... really smug and 'orrible...
🤣🤣🤣
@@jonasolssonpianist not your playing of course... just that grim, humourless GERMAN GENIUS...
no offence taken, but Helmut is actually very funny and approachable - and generous towards young struggling musicians
