I am a theater director and I used this music in my play. This music added another beauty and atmosphere to the performance. In a word, it is genius music❤
Absolutely - Boulez was a true genius, a great composer whilst also a talented conductor and pianist! (I believe he was a pianist if I’m correct, but also was a master at orchestrating for every I stringent in my opinion)
@@KinkyLettuce What do they dislike about Boulez's works? I think they are works that are easily accepted by many people, such as "Structures for two pianos".
If you haven't looked at some already, check out some analyses, his thought process is SO simple yet SO complicated at the same time... truly frightening genius
@@adigozelov-enjoyer I did not, but I don't understand the point of coming here and saying that another piece is better. So what? There's always a better piece. What is the point?
@@MicheleoTuTo You do not understand: the piece I mentioned is scored for solo cello, 48 cellos, 12 double basses and percussion, which is even more absurd of an ensemble than 7 cellos. So I am *not* here just to say another piece is better! Granted, it is not a good comment in the least, you would be better off ignoring it.

I have read la fair amount on and by Boulez, this piece is new to me...
i wrote my second sonata inspired by Boulez
cuz Boulez's music has an extremely small audience even within classical listeners.
to be frank, most people just dont like Boulez

FABULOUS - wonderfully dramatic and highly effective. Love this. Never heard it before.

This is red hot!

🤩
I think this and Repons are the only pieces of Boulez that I actually enjoy listening to.
Le Marteau sans Maitre is one of the greatest compositions of the 20th century.
quite good...
god this shit absolutely destroys
"Tinnitis Tuning With A Distracted Cat!"🤣
Alien insect music…though an aerobic workout for the musicians.
So boring and middle of the road :-). I'm glad it is forgotten, thankfully.
Catches the ear with its cliche rhythms and repetitiveness. No wonder only my 5-year-old kid likes it.
Tishchenko's Cello Concerto 2 is better!
and?
@@MicheleoTuTo Ah, this is a reference to the instrumentation, an esoteric one at that. Sorry if you mistook it.
