It's incredible that humanity thinks/composes/performs/listens/produces and sells this music. So unique, such an insanely high level of precision and technique at every corner. From here in southern Chile this might as well be music written and performed by aliens from outerspace.
Yup, Ligeti was one of her teachers. I feel "philosophically" this is one of her most Ligeti-esque pieces in terms of its eclecticism. (Also, I recently listened to your Violin Concerto and it's fantastic! Awesome to see you here, Vito)
@@Cmaj7 thank you! Yes totally agree! I love Ligeti and somehow I am influenced by him too (he is the Master of all of us!)... Anyway I love also many pieces by Chin, I study them and I find them fantastic and surprising! Very happy to be here to discuss music with all of you!
I see new Unsuk Chin video, I click
Just a word, I feel like this is the best score channel. Thanks for all your work. also Unsuk Chin's music is so magical

Babe wake up - cmaj7 has posted!
I want to make this my alarm clock every morning.
Lots of fun. I almost believe I'm hearing the clatter of spray cans in those pizzicatos, and the stroke of a paint line in those string runs.
The Passacaglia kills me. Unstoppable rhythm. Unsuk grooves.
Brilliant 21:05 and 21:40
Love it! Thank you for sharing.
woodwind multiphonics are superb

This sounds like something Frank Zappa would have written.
Somebody tell to composer that we are in 2013 not in 1950 ca. His trein is stopped yet at the station?? 😅
It's too tonal
Oi where are the bloody melodies?
Bro needs an update

Bro is from early 20th century 💀💀💀
Movement II
Bro hasn't been worn down by a century of atonal dogma 😎😎

Se questi sono i nuovi compositori, Dio ce ne scampi... Povero Stravinskij. Fantasia zero
Unlistenable.
