Looks bland. I prefer Asian cuisine.
Schweinshaxe is more likely to find in the south of Germany. Here in the north Matjes or other fish dishes or Grünkohl is more common.
Tortilla española
Gazpacho
Croatian seafood
Portuguese pasteis de nata
Green bean soup from Germany
Moussaka, Greece

Grüne-Bohnensuppe geht hard ngl
I love gazpacho so much!!!!!
Moussakka is originally an Egyptian dish. Chinese from Europe - Greeks - again took a dish from another culture and showed as "Greek"...
They are all my favorite. I love all kinds of food from many cultures. Vietnamese pho one day, cioppino the next, raspberry tarte tetin, and so on. And on…. Great segment DW.
Moules frites and pizza are obviously the best dishes in this serie.
ratatouille anytime
As continental croat I approve this goulash
1:21 Why can't we all just call a pineapple "Ananas"
5:03 'Pescado Frito' is what they called fried fish back in the day, likely brought to the UK's shores by Spanish and Portugese refugees during the 16th century.
Fish and chips!👍
Fish and Chips are British contribution to world gastronomy.
Nice video hello from Florida
Zsófia is a great chef.
I love fish and chips anyway, food of the people (so is pizza)
Swedish kardemummabullar / cardamom buns!
Swiss Rösti (kind of a potato pancake)
Swiss/French Fondue
Obazda (Camenbert cheese+butter+paprika and more) with pretzels from Bavaria in Germany
Greek yoghurt with honey and nuts
Sachertorte from Vienna/Austria
A good simple risotto or pasta dish from Italy made by Granny
Poffertjes mini pancakes from The Netherlands
The list could go on and on....
Sorry, french fondue doesn't exist. Fondue is swiss
Yoghurt is Turkish and originally from Central Asia.
@@MrPolluxxxx Check the french "fondue bourguignonne" with meat !
@@user-nr8uh9ur4p I know what it is and it is also of swiss origin. The "bourguignonne" part refers to the meat, not the place of origin.
I really love Schaufele
What's about Matjes fromThe Netherlands? Spaghetti Carbonara or Bolognese? Quiche Lorraine? Bauernfrühstück/ Farmers' Breakfast?
❤
I'll never understand why mussels are not more popular in the USA, where the quality (at least in the NE) is excellent.
Nice
Frikadeller and æbleskiver from Denmark, gravad lax from Sweden, doner kebab and its derivatives.
I really wouldn't call mussels luxurious, even in Belgium (much cheaper in France) you can get a kg of mussels for 5-6 euros, fries are basically free, so for 6-7 euros you get a big portion for one person.
Not cheap, but in line with other type of meats (which are more expensive per kg but you need less because no shells)
Mussels are from Zeeland. I don't now what makes it so popular? Mussels for me with plenty full Brown bread. The grey shrimp crocket. That's Belgium.
Tapas, Sauerkraut, Matjes Herring, Tiramisu, Borscht,
seriously?? ratatouille for france???

There is plenty from Polish cusine too.
We all know and love Pierogi and how versatile they are. There are couple more like:
Bigos,
Kluski Śląskie,
Racuchy,
Gołąbki,
Barszcz z uszkami.
But there is one dish which stands out as it is one of a kind. You wouldn't really find this one in any other country. I belive soup called "Żurek" deserves it's own episode . Unmistakable flavour and warmth that acompanies this dish is bringing all the best memories. Also it is traditionally eaten at easter holidays, which are not far away. Could be just the perfect time to make a film about it ;)
Romanian cabbage rolls
I can say I have never heard of pizza. Or Italy. I didn't know those two words go together.
Sandwiches aren't with chips but in Mumbai where it's its identity...u won't get one without chips
fish n chips? Why no paella?
Chips in uk are low quality...minimum double fried like in Belgium is the only way to make fries. I guess the maker is from uk and needed to choose something....what else could they choose beans on toast?
What's wrong with fish and chips?
Why specifically attack fish and chips?
There's nothing wrong with fish and chips, as well with paella!
It was just a choice for this video.
I love them both, but being a fisherman and growing up with fish, I'd choose it over the Spanish delicacy.
Paella has been prepared in part 1

They killed that pizza by using a gas flame, nothing beats the taste of a wood fired or coal fired pizza.
No German dishes. Schnitzel , Rouladen!
Schnitzel is Austrian
German sausage
Sauerbraten, my great-grandmother from there always made it for Christmas.
European Bread, Baguette, Ciabatta, Gervek, Pitta, Pumpernickel, Banitza, Smorebrod, English toast, croissant....

How about chicken topping for pizza?!
Currywurst and Dönner
They are both rather junkfood than classic dishes.
There's no paella 😢
Paella has been in part 1 of the best dishes from Europe

Fish and chips over Paella?

So many dishes and you pick fish and chips 😂. Come on mate.
Irish Stew 🇮🇪
No mention of "pizza" originating in Persia during the Achaemenid Empire. Jews bringing fried fish to the UK is however mentioned when discussing "fish and chips".
Flatbread with cheese and dates as the Persins did it is not pizza in the generally accepted tradition. Flatbread have been in many cultures for centuries. However, the variation we generally know as pizza originated in Italy, an area with just as long a history as the Persia. Wikipedia can teach you many things if you read the full article. 😂
@@BearODiceThen why even mention it in an entry entitled "History of Pizza"?
@@BearODice Wikipedia is full of $hit.
Thought the Portuguese brought fish & chips because they're obsessed with cod. At least they did it with tea.
It pales in comparison with the cuisine on the other side of the Mediterranean - North Africa/ Levantine
Not with Italy no north African countries can beat the quality and variety of Italian food.
Probably a Haitian or East African. You see a lot of them.
An entire continent of exquisite food that could have been shown and you go fo fish and chips in the video? Really?..
sad
Fish & Chips? Really?…
And just like with everything else, now these dishes which times ago were invented by the poor common folk, are a meal for the "educated" and the rich....The poor, having lost God, have lost conscience and freedom and Peace, and as a result will take anything that stimulates the most their taste: everything oily, creamy, doughy, to fill that gap that the abscence of God creates, and as a result obesity appears, and illnesses reign..... ✝️
all look very boring to me
Fries with mayonnaise? Savages! 🙄 they go with ketchup ✋🏻🇺🇸
Fries are originally from Belgium and if they eat it with mayo, it is the proper way.
Fies without mayo?
You savages
