@@FiaTheBababoi it would take (seriously) around 5 minutes to load the home screen (18 gb RAM and 3.6 ghz cpu 6 core) and no apps would load or barely load. It was basically unusable so i would have sold it or factory reset it.

I have been struggling for so long, i was having huge bottlenecks, i bought a new pc recently with i5 12400 and rtx 3060, played some old titles, gpu was at 95 to 99% most of the time, didnt really bottleneck at all but, as soon as i started playing newer titles, i was getting around 40 to 50 percent of gpu usage. checked some youtube test benchmarks with my components and i saw people were getting above 100 fps on ac origins on ultra and i was getting only 30 to 40 with wayyy too much lags and stutters cause of frame drops. Thank you so much for this video man, appreciate it so much and you have no idea how much you have helped me. I was running at 2 cores and 4 threads whereas my cpu is 6 cores and 12 threads. Thanks a ton buddy. Im so happy now i feel like im a child being an adult lmfao.
Hey I saw my CPU didnt work so much, so i tried this, in the settings on Processors I had it on 1 so i saw I could change it alot more so i Chose 8 Processors, and retarted PC started A Game didn't notice anything better nor bad, but i looked there in Windows there you can see your CPU and now i see 4 cores and 8 threads but I have an 8 Cores 16 threads CPU so should i have switched to 16 instead of 8? but when i was gonna switch that i couldn't it max was going from 1-8 now and before like 1-32 first time around hmm :/

I have a issue with a Xeon i just installed on older ASUS P5QL SE MB which has quads in its specifications so can handle 4 cores Windows 7 installed Put a modified Xeon in and its stable and working ok at about the same speed as my old core 2 Duo but CPU-Z ect is only showing 2 cores and 2 threads?. I went into Msconfig and advanced/boot and only 1,2 cores are there to change; shouldnt 1-4 be available? I have original BIOS and also if this makes a diff the bios is set to IDE not ACHI but i tried changing it to ACHI and it wouldnt boot so put it back to IDE and its fine and working. Would that setting need to be changed or is it only for security ect eventhough ACHI is more up to date?. would i have to have loaded windows fresh set to Achi to use ACHI? and do i need to worry as the computer is Win 7 anyway? So do the settings in BIOS make any diff to 4 cores being seen? Thanks for any assistance to can give Tim
