      bro its just capping your pc thats not activating extra number of cores its just limiting it to the number of cores you have selected plz understand i am tired of telling this to everyone it may be harmful in the long run and it doesnt have any benefits,windows uses all cores by default for example if you select 4 cores for a cpu that has 16 it caps the pc to use 4 cores

    • @superidol4670
      @superidol4670 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      bro you were using your cores the entire time unchecking the box literally only helps you select how many cores you want to do if you don't touch it it's normally going to use all your cores this video was pointless. also note: if you weere really using just 1 core your windows wouldn't run and so on or it would just be very laggy even with a good cpu speed plus it wasn't 8 cores that you changed to it was 16 threads so your cpu in total was using only 8 cores lmfao.

    • @LockOutz
      @LockOutz  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      no if you have a 6 core ryzen then you 100% want to do this... other wise you have a 6 core cpu and windows is only using 2 or 4 cores of it what ever its defualt is... when ever you buy a pc you must turn all cores on to get the full performance of your pc.. most people own a computer there whole life and never turned on all the cores for there pc and never used even 50% of its performance.. so do this yes..

    I was using 1 core 😂 thx bro
    Edit: And again, thank you I was running on 1 core again for some reason and forgot how to change my cores.

    • @superidol4670
      @superidol4670 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      bro you were using your cores the entire time unchecking the box literally only helps you select how many cores you want to do if you don't touch it it's normally going to use all your cores this video was pointless. also note: if you weere really using just 1 core your windows wouldn't run and so on or it would just be very laggy even with a good cpu speed plus it wasn't 8 cores that you changed to it was 8 threads so your cpu in total was using only 4 cores lmfao.

    I’ve got a Ryzen 5 3600 and it’s got “6 cores” but I go into this and it’s tellin me that under number of processors I’ve got 4? Am I just looking at this wrong?

    • @LockOutz
      @LockOutz  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      you should be able to select 12 ... go into your bos and make sure all your cores are enabled... also get a program called quick CPU it will tell you and you will be able to unlock all core from it... you should be able to select 12 tho
