I’m very envious. My dual motor white/noir has been on order since May 25, 2022 (converted from a Debut Edition). The dealer has no info about when it might arrive 😢 but I’m guessing December or January.
@9:20 ish I laughed out loud! "AC is jacked up... It's about 100 degrees outside today here in Maryland." Lyriq: "Sir, it is 75 outside." Great video though! Thank you for the hard work and information.
I love the look and luxury of this car. GM just needs to flip the charge port to the other side so it only takes up one spot at a Tesla supercharger. Otherwise, it will be a nightmare when they start getting their adapters next spring.
Yeah I agree. Tesla led they way and opened up their charge network it’s up to everyone else to move their ports to the rear left corner to make it easier for everyone
!!!!!!!!!!!!!............right on........no problem here............Idea just takes Our eyes off the important issue.........The Ultium batterie isn't going to be competitive in 2 more Years............Paul
@@paulholterhaus7084Where is your crystal ball? There are so many idiots on TH-cam that can see into the future. You were also probably one of the people claiming Ford did it right with the Lightning and *gm* got it all wrong with the Silverado EV 🤡
I would agree but you forgot to mention the 2024 Cadillac lyriq just went up in price …big time …The tech entry level has no massage seats /digital head display ..Luxury level 1 has no massage seats and speakers in seats and that costs 77k …U need to be in luxury 3 to get that ..For that money a bmw Ix and Audi etron is where I would go
My only serious complaint.....The ultium batterie is already made obsolete by CATL's new high density LFP.......And will be only be made further obsolete during the ridiculas time interval it will require GM to get these into high volume production....2------5 Years.........So lets get serious about the batterie issue....What is GM planning to do about the soon outdated Ultium idea..????......................Paul
Costs over 25 percent more than Tesla Model Y. Slower. Less range. No front trunk. Fake grill. CCS charging system. Sold through dealerships instead directly.
I'm getting 2024 caddilac lyriq lux 1 this coming Wednesday it arrived in dealer shop after 10 months

@@nerdbikes3841Or front right, especially for pickups. Chevy blew it with the charge port at the rear left of the Silverado EV.
Once they switch to the “Tesla Charging System”, improve the issues and update the door handles Next year, I’ll think about buying one.
Great review! Btw, it take between 500-2000yrs for that magnet to lose it's magnetism.

Do not buy tesla model y very cheap stuff......
On that HOMERUN....ride and
The magnet comment, seriously? Are TH-cam reviewers on cocaine? Are y’all’s jobs literals to find something (anything) to complain about?

Ultium can use LFPs, Catl is a ultium battery supplier in China and Buick E4 is equipped with ultium and CATL lfp battery.

Model Y is also a clump of plastic, there's a reason why it's cheaper.
Can you get 18" wheels. 20" wheels are stupid because they rob you of power and range.
Very slow charging time 190 miles in 30 minutes. No way for a modern EVs. A local use only car.
