next time take your filter media and fold it all up and place it in the vise, squeeze all the oil out and the debris will be much easier to view and identify
Check out nissanpathfinders.net/forum My1Path sent you. MR510 has a good write up on his swap there but he is no longer active on that site. My swap went about the same so I didn't bother writing anything up. Keep everything but the engine itself, Buy a vg33 crank pulley adaptor from MR510@vg30.com and bolt your stock pulleys to it (throw away your old damper) Install your adaptor with 3.0 pulleys onto your complete xterra/frontier 3.3 block Modify your alternator tensioner to match the offset of the oil pump. i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll35/Mister510/Pathfinder/VG34/2011-10-08_20-43-26_648.jpg Modify your 3.0 water pump to clear the oil pump.(the 3.3 water pump doesn't line up the pulleys) i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll35/Mister510/Pathfinder/VG34/2011-09-27_23-45-55_772.jpg Bolt your coolant hard line to the extra tab on the steering pump bracket instead of the oil pump (Pictured left). Sorry I do not, I was working alone most of the time and hard pressed for time. The swap went smoothly with only one small surprise with the intake manifold (my own doing) New engine still running great.

Too much work, the engine was fucked and that was the end.
Its much easier to see in person than on camera.
I have a 93 4wd pathy auto. What do I need for this swap? Can I keep my old trany?
