I'm definitely gonna try this, had no problems til fuel pump went out, and I've replaced everything except wiring...thanks for video and for taking time.
Same issue on my 2000gt. I'm in the garage and going to give it a shot. It has to be because I've done everything else. Nice job!

Thanks alot for taking the time to explain what you did. Im currently chasing a miss . Its intermittent and really frustrating to pin point whats causing the problem on my 2002 GT 4.6. I will dig into it further. 🐎

Definitely going to try this. I've even tried parts from a donor engine I'm rebuilding. Mine has gotten to affecting my transmission shifts because a misfire can mess with the lockup on the torque converter, causing a shudder. Awesome vid, man.
I just did my valve cover gaskets and put everything back together and it was running like shit. Was misfiring in 5 different cylinders. Top passenger and the whole driver side. Did what you recommended and it fired right up. Running like it should. Thanks my man

This is a very good idea but let me caution u on break and carburetor cleaner these cleaners are made for metals not sensors ! Use mass air flow cleaner and make sure ur battery is disconnected first... this is constructive criticism i like ur video and i think its a very good idea and starting point for troubleshooting...
Damn.iv been doing the same for about 5 weeks. I've replaced coils plugs each 2 x 02 sensors fuel injector regular mass air heat temp sensor and everything else that would make bank 1 and 2 rich burning hella gas, now I found a leaking intake will cause it also,same things that where happing to you and me. I'll check my plug first and hope it works because I don't want to buy an intake.thanks for the info man.
Great video gonna try this out on my 04 4.6 I just picked up I noticed in your video you didn’t have a alternator bracket on there would recommend getting one for it if you don’t have one I ran a 4.6 without it and snapped my alternator bolts and destroyed a belt also
I'll be darned if that didn't fix my misfire thanks man.

Wow, my Gt has the same issue. I check it out tomorrow. No power to the coil and probably the same for the injector. I changed out to new injectors and it's got a mis after I replaced the injectors. Thanks ...

I have the same problem for my 2000 mustang gt bt for my engine coil #1 & fuel injector (no spark), do all wires lead to that last connector or does it have one on the side of the engine coil #1, I've changed spark plugs, engine coils, sensors & fuel injector, so I'd appreciate any help, thanks
All coil wires lead down to that plug. Have you watched and made sure it was getting fire to the spark plug. Have you replaced the coil pack?
@@Barricade2016 I've replaced all engine coils, spark plugs & that fuel injector I even moved to the cam & crank sensors, a mechanic showed me a trick by jus unclipping the coil pack or fuel injector & if the engine changes idle then it's working, if nothing changes then there's no spark, so tried to all of em & all worked except my #1 coil & injector

Imma try this… my issue isn’t exactly the same but my car randomly cuts out and says all of my coils circuits are open. So imma clean that and see if I can’t figure out for the other side
Having trouble with my 2000 mustang ,all coils r new , spark plugs r new,we also install the crank sensor,also we install a new harness,an a new injector to the no,1 spark plug but we still not having no fire to the number 1 spark plug,help me out I already wasted alot of money,an still having problems
Check your intake for leaking water or air.plastic will crack after time with the heat of the engine.you need to take it off to check it.might be the issue.
Sounds like if you have no spark at all could have wiring issue from PCM
Did you have problems turning on the vehicle after you used it and try to turn it on later?

By any chance do you know what that plug is called mine looks bad I need a replacement
Can you just do a continuity check from each wire on each coil pack plug to that main harness plug or ohm each one to make sure each wire is good up until that main plug from each coil plug ?

My coil pack number 1 catches fire 🔥, switched out the coil and spark plug and still catches fire lol going to clean it and let’s see what happens
Sounds like a spark plug blue out of the engine, you’ll need a thread insert/ time cert to fix your problem.

I replaced it , it never caught on fire anymore 😆

My massive airflow my EGR on side my Throttle-body I change my fuel pump and still having the same problem ..... can u guest or think what it could be ????

I have a issue like this but Mines only got 2 coils for the whole engine, mine is a 1996 crown vic

You should have just pulled the pins out of the connectors not splice wires, long run wore spices like that are bad news, I changed all mine and pulled all pins from plus and redid the pins and used new clips
All you gotta do is unplug each coil pack while started. Each plug you unplug will lower rpm and the coil you unplug and doesn't make the rpm go down or acts differently is the bad one. Simple

Did you have problems turning on the vehicle once you used it and try to turn it on after a while. I had to press the gas pedal to help it stay on
