It's interesting they went with a basketball because the colors were so clashing/lower contrast. Or, perhaps a white frisbee (although I appreciate them sticking to balls in the end).

Pretty sure this is a rerun, but I'll make this correction anyway. The statement "questions asked during interrogation prior to miranda are not admissible" has exceptions. The statement has to have been made in custody AND be a response to an interrogative question (that being one clearly likely to, and intended to, provoke incriminating testimony.) You can ask them "Would you like a soda" and if they respond "I DID IT! I KILLED HER!" then you can use that as evidence even if its within the situation of "interrogation." The "interrogation" part specifically refers to interrogative questions, not the actual action of interrogating. Also, the person must be in custody of some kind. You can ask an incriminating question to a passerby who isn't in custody and if they answer with incriminating evidence, it is admissible. The rule is that they have to both be in custody AND be interrogated, which makes the question which only covered interrogation technically incorrect.
Basically, change the word "permissible" to "admissible" and it's correct. You can interrogate the holy hell out of the suspect, but if they're not read their rights and/or don't have an attorney present, none of it is admissible in court. You give every detail about the crime you committed and it (mostly) won't matter.

From what I understand, the phone call thing in jail is mainly a courtesy for small time criminals, like if you are hauled in to jail and thrown in the drunk tank and you want to call your spouse or a bail bondsman if you are actually under arrest and will have to see a judge and worried you won't be let out without bail, they let you because jail doesn't actually want you there or have much room. If you are a murder suspect and they want to interrogate you, they don't want you to contact people, and if you don't have your own lawyer, it might be a while for the public defender, so they are hoping to keep you under wraps and maybe you start talking. Another episode of Um, Actually, another episode featuring Trapp's collar doing insane things.
I was expecting someone to mention everyone's favorite Casablanca remake Barb Wire, starring Pam Anderson.
Um actually, George Lucas has stated that the AT-AT can be pronounced either as "At, At" or being spelled out. Both are canonically correct.
What would George Lucas know? It's not like he created the world or anything. Teehee
Um actually, it was the horse with no name.
Only Um Actually episode where I got most of the questions right
Raph is on fire this episode.
Raph reminds me of the white guy from Pretty Fly (for a White Guy) "everything he lacks well he makes up in denial"
Ralph's reaction to Shane's Midnight Cowboy answer is priceless, and also understandable if you have seen that movie lol
I feel like Raph was baited into this with promises it would be about recent popular movies like the MCU and such.
If someone else has any light on where the idea that it is a right comes from, let me know.
As I commented the last time this one was posted, Casablana was remade as Caboblanco starring Charles Bronson as the Rick character.
