@@NewLegacy93 All the episodes that are airing on TH-cam are fairly old. Um, Actually is currently still shooting episodes and they are aired on Dropout. Someone has said that the current episodes are filmed over video conference.
I love the 'theory' that the Jetsons and Flintstones are in the same world. The Flintstones being a group of people who have gone down to earth to 'live like the old times' which is completly misunderstood by them.
Which is why there are dinosaurs, cars and all this techonolgy by set up like stone age 'tech'
And Elroy's time machine was actually just a teleportation machine. And the Flintstones' car was not found in the past, but was a disguised teleporter designed to send them back home before anyone discovered the secret.
There's a crossover movie and episodes between them

Another theory is that the Jetsons' society destroyed and polluted and bombed the surface back into the stone age and then left to live in a cloud paradise above, leaving the Flintstones down among the rubble (and Rubbles) of the destroyed earth.
@@tsmcgu this is the one I subscribe to. In the Jetsons meet the Flintstones movie the smog is thick so George raises the house. The talking animals of the Flintstones are mutated. The Flintstones are just mining materials for the Jetsons which is why they just get the scrap stone and leathers.
Any time I see the Drawfee crew IRL it feel this weird disconnect between their voices and their faces, mostly because I'm so used to their avatars. x)
Also for the longest time Nathan's voice was just a disembodied voice ro me, so it's weird to hear it coming out of a person.

Um actually, just giving a kapa a cucumber wont make them docile, you have to carve the name of the person they're attacking into the cucumber and then give/throw it at them
Kappa are able to transform and try to lure children to riverbanks, but if you bow to them they bow back and spill their water on their head and become powerless. This is a story told to tell children why it is important to always bow to people you meet in the street.

Although shy and seldom seen, it is aggressive and has been known to attack and injure people. For this reason, there are warning signs near waterways where it is known to live - signs that carry a typical drawing of a Kappa.

Funny enough I never thought of it as color flipped so much as the face is upside-down, since they roll to move and the up and down is kinda arbitrary.
Of course gen 1 also has bird, another bird, a third bird, bird 4, a fifth fucking bird, two different caterpillars, just a straight up butterfly, a pile of eggs, a fucking coconut tree that evolves from a pile of eggs, literally a bunch of muck called Muk, a snake named snake backwards, a cobra named cobra backwards, a bull, a large praying mantis, a yellow mouse, a soft dragon, a dragon dragon, literally just a fucking crab, ANOTHER crab, three different ghosts that are... just ghosts and nothing else, three different elemental birds that are just birds with elements drawn on them like bad SFX, a horse that is on fire, another horse that is on fire but bigger, a pile of vines, a jellyfish, a big jellyfish...
Basically the entire original 151 are just animals drawn poorly.
@@chrismanuel9768 Yeah, now it's clear you're basing this solely on your memory and not what they actually look like, because neither Zapdos nor Articuno follow the "bird with elemental effect added" design you claim is common to all of them that is actually entirely unique to Moltres.
Mimic's were already a staple in JRPGs around the time so it made sense for there to be one in pokmon too before it was a show or anything
The energy of this cast was perfect, all three really seemed to be enjoying themselves and bouncing off each other.

There being weird designs in both of two different gens doesn't mean there are equal numbers of strange designs, nor that they are inherently equally strange, nor make the same amount of in Universe sense.

I always had a weird notion as a kid that the Jetsons and the Flintstones lived on the same world at the same time; it was like H.G. Wells Time Machine, the Jetson people lived up in the cloud cities with tech, and the primitive cavemen were left behind to grub in the dirt...
I subscribe to that theory as well, with the caveat that they're clouds of pollution not regular clouds. There are even scenes where the pollution catches up to the buildings so they have to raise the buildings again

UM, actually many creatures of myth and legend are equally lazy in conception, such as a wolf that is also a person, a dead person that is not as dead as they should be, and an umbrella that is alive.
Um actually, I also contend that Kirk, the most unapologetic Japanese folklore weeb with a hardon for Kappa (who doesn't even know that "kappa" is not what cucumber is called in Japanese), should know that object-like Pokemon such as Klefki are almost always based off of other Yokai which are often inanimate objects or adjacent. Klefki are based at least partly off the Japanese myth that inanimate objects left alone for 100 years will become sentient, so he's talking shit for no reason.
And let's not forget that gen 1 has "a bird" and "a bird with a vegetable"

Um, Actually, Hugh Jackman HAS played multiple superheroes. There's a scene in the original X-MEN where Mystique disguises herself as Logan, where she's played by Hugh Jackman. (Mystique's roles in the FIRST CLASS run of films in the X-verse make it pretty clear she at least sometimes counts as a hero rather than a straight-up villain.)

The cursed image that popped into my head to represent a kappa was that reverse bimbofication meme where the girl picks up a book and turns brunette, but instead of a human girl it's a kappa girl and instead of turning brunette she dies because the water in her leaf falls out when she bends over cause that's how kappas die

I feel personally attacked. I got the swords as a gift and my bed doesn't have a headboard because the head of the bed is right up against a wall (and when I was building the bed frame I honestly forgot to design a headboard, my partner didn't seem to mind either. I can always go back in and add one later though so not all is lost)
I'm pretty sure headboards only exist so you have something to bang your head into, you're not missing much!
I don't have any swords but it's not because I don't want them... It just seems like it would be difficult to stop at just one and I don't want to start another collection.
That pokemon shiny question was probably the easiest one of that type they’ve done.

It is fun to give an artist a drawing challenge. But if Nathan had had NO idea what a Kappa was, his very cool drawing of a horse with elephant feet would still have been incorrect. Not only was his drawing great, but an accurate answer to the question, as well! So double props to Nathan! Drawing and knowledge of Japanese mythological creatures!
My mom and I usually dominate at Pictionary, because we're the artists of the family. But if you don't know what some clue is, all the drawing ability in the world won't save you. If my dad or brother knows what something is, they can usually scribble out a recognizable version enough for a guess. Like Kirk did! He knew what he was about, and though his drawing skills may not have been super, they were adequate to the task.

They were originally streamed on some other site(Dropout), and as previews the first third of each episode was posted here on youtube on the college humor channel. The episodes are over a year old and I am unsure why they are doing it this way rather than making new ones. I suppose gathering random people during a pandemic might be hard but I also think they could do it if they tried. I also read a comment on one of the college humor breaking news videos that something happened to them and they had to fire a bunch of people.
Writing this comment made me actually look it up but I am keeping my comment the way it is because...why not?

I looked at the site and it's a subscription-based site and I do not have enough money to spend that much on just watching um. actually. To make it worse I completely hate their color scheme. The yellow blocks in on the otherwise black page hurts my eyes which might seem surprising considering I'm fine with the almost completely white youtube. The whole cookies disclaimer also ended up being white text on yellow background which was impossible to see without marking/selecting the text
In before the future reveal: Longclaw was originally called Ice when Benjen stole it and Mormont had it rehilted into Longclaw. I will accept my point after the reveal in one of the last two books.
